So first of all, what is Hammer's? It's a men's and women's clothing discount store - there are a few other random things here, but at it's core - discount clothing. In many instances the store has the look and feel that the styles they have are probably from a couple seasons ago, which is probably why they offer discounts as high as 70% (and maybe more) off of the listed price. They do have some name brands in both men's and women's areas, just nothing that overly excited me. The store could use a little bit of an overhaul, it has a kind of dingy feel about it. They do have dressing rooms that are open, so that is a plus if you find something you want to try on. No interactions with the staff because we didn't make any purchases. I probably wouldn't be in a rush to come back. I would add that they do have the look and feel of a place that rotates stock on a fairly regular basis.

If you leave without making a purchase they immediately run to the left side window and at least 2 of them stare you down like you robbed the place. Overall I would donate at a place that is much more appreciative and shop somewhere that is welcoming and actually wants you there. First thing to say about this place .... way to flip one of the major gamestop complaints into a model for how to run your business. Customer service!! These guys engage with you as soon as you come in the door. They are super friendly and offer to help in any way possible. They thank you for coming in and genuinely seem to appreciate the fact that you took time out of your day to shop with them. Well done! The selection is pretty good too! They have stuff dating back for just about any console you can think of. So if you're looking for that N64 gem or want a classic Atari 2600 .... there's a good chance they have it. They also have latest gen stuff, so whether you're retro or new age gaming, these guys can get you hooked up. Wish there was one closer to home, but I'll be coming back in here next time I'm in the area.

Very easy return policy and they help you to get what you want if you are exchanging. So what is High Cotton Style, home décor with southern flare. Everything from artwork to mirrors to candles to place settings to frames to nick knacks to pepper jellies .... the list really goes on and on.....and on. Store is well organized and is a great place to go to find a unique gift for somebody. They have some stuff that is pretty consistent and some items that rotate, so they always seem like they have new stuff on hand. First thing you should know about this place, they go above and beyond for customer service. It doesn't matter if you make a phone call to ask questions or are standing there in person looking for advice, they truly care about their customers and make you feel welcomed while you are there. Stock may not be the same as the big box building supply stores, but so far anytime I've ever needed anything they've had it and the prices were great. In addition to the great prices they also point out other stuff that may be useful so that you don't have to make a return trip in 30 minutes .... I'm that kind of amateur DIY'er that can use all the help I can get.
