Alcatraz Builders did an amazing job with our full bathroom renovation. Given that this was our…read morefirst time doing a major remodel, we were quite unfamiliar and unaware of what to expect. The Alcatraz team did a good job in making us feel at ease in what initially appeared to be an overwhelming and daunting process. They went above and beyond in supporting us throughout our experience, patiently answering all our questions, and thoughtfully explaining our options when a decision needed to be made. The Alcaltraz team was also very understanding when we changed our minds about certain design elements and did a great job in being flexible and efficient to meet our requests to the best of their abilities. Overall, the work was completed in a timely manner, and the price was very reasonable. The workers were punctual and quite contentious about making sure everything was in place and clean at the end of each shift. We are ultimately very happy with the end results. Our bathroom now looks very modern and beautiful. We have received so many compliments from family and friends. All in all, we are very pleased with the work they have done with our bathroom, and we look forward to working with them on future projects.

Anna coordinated the whole job from ensuring the identification of the plumbing leak to the fix. We took 2 opinions before working with Proper Hour Plumbing Services and sure enough the skilled plumber who came in to debug the issue identified the problem spot on (others had recommended digging until problem was found). The whole leak was fixed in a timely manner. There were some coordination issues around the dry wall fix but again Anna was very flexible in addressing some of the challenges. The pricing was also aligned with some of the other quotes we received - definitely value for money. I hope no one goes through plumbing issues, but if you do - do reach out to Proper Hour.

We recently completed a whole house remodeling and addition project and had a great experience…read moreworking with BNO. As first-time homeowners taking on a project of this scale, we were honestly a bit overwhelmed at the start and knew we needed a contractor we could fully trust. From day one, BNO made the process feel manageable and brought our vision to life. They were patient, open to our ideas, took the time to explain each step, and helped us feel confident in the decisions we were making. Once we started physically seeing things come together, BNO was receptive to our change requests or additional work at fair costs to do what's right and what's best for the house, especially as it was not just a flip but planned to be our forever home. They ensured things were built the way we wanted and that we were happy. Throughout the project, BNO was professional, responsive (especially to our millions of questions) and transparent about the scope, timeline, and costs. They guided us through design choices and their quality of work really stood out. Communication was consistent, and we always knew what was happening and what to expect next. Like any large project, there were some bumps along the way but what stood out was that whenever an issue came up, BNO was proactive about finding solutions and focused on moving things forward rather than letting problems stall progress. They handled challenges responsibly and made sure we were satisfied with the outcome. Most importantly they orchestrated all the city inspections and always passed with minor comments, if any, that were easily addressed. Invoices always came when expected and never before the milestones were met. Overall, we're very happy with the results and especially grateful to have worked with a contractor we could trust for our first major remodeling experience. We finished in a little less than a year from demo to final which is very reasonable for the amount of work we did. We would absolutely recommend BNO to anyone considering a home renovation or addition.
