    I ordered an accelerator pedal sensor for my 2010 Ford e350 Super Duty through OEM Parts Online,…read more$310.20 as shipped by Sewell. The part I received does not fit my vehicle, even though the website showed that the part will fit. I initiated the return and was told that I would be charged a restocking fee of $46.53 because it was a special order item. First, I was never told that it was a special order item; at no point did any screen on the OEM Parts Online website show that it was a special order item. Second, they sent me the wrong part! I communicated my displeasure via email to Amanda Morales at Sewell Family of Companies, from which the part was actually shipped. Amanda was unresponsive to my complaint, stating repeatedly that I would be charged the restocking fee. This is, by definition, a deceptive business practice. First, to not inform the customer that it was a special order, and then charge a restocking fee. Second, and I cannot emphasize this enough: Sewell sent me the wrong part, and now I have been charged the restocking fee. This is wrong. Hugh

After 2 weeks that they had it they charge 250.00 for the change of air filter and the diagnostic. The sad part is that when my son picked it up the glove compartment could not close , some part in the middle compartment was missing and the change that was there was also missing. SAD DAYS never going back!! He just said we are not responsible.

They did the work promised and completed it only 2-1/4 working days later than the date they promised. The bad side - I explained we were preparing for a long-scheduled trip and absolutely needed the work done by the end of the day Friday. I was told "No problem." Having heard nothing at about 3:00 PM, I called to check. Again, I was told it should be ready as promised, "but I'll check and call you back." As closing approached, I called a couple of times and was forwarded to voicemail. I finally decided that since the last time I heard anything it was positive, we'd go get the car. Only on arrival was I told the car wasn't ready and probably wouldn't be done before sometime after we planned to leave on our trip. So, our trip was delayed by a little over 24 hours. Again, the car has done well on a long road trip, so I can't complain about the work. But, commitments weren't honored and communication was poor.

The professionalism of the Sewell team is unmatched. Just 2 weeks ago I had my Sewell fixing an oil leak on my truck. They almost always have a several week wait before a vehicle can be serviced, but once your vehicle is there, you will be well taken care of!

I picked up 2 hours later and it rode rough. Pulled over and all lug nuts on passenger front were completely loose (tire was wobbly). Young guy said it was an error, that it wasn't ready. That (1) lug nut was stripped. Took back in, 6/14/25, now they're saying all (20) lug nuts swelled up and need replaced.... They quoted almost $600.00 for parts and labor. The sensor was bad evidently. But they wouldn't check the sensor. Next, I was dealing with George A. before and found a red 1794 Tundra I wanted online. Talked with a different salesman, had a test drive, loved it, took it by to have my hubby look at it, and when we got back to the dealership we waited and waited. Suddenly, the truck was sold out from under me, or/and George A. cancelled the sale because I didn't go through him. I don't know about you, but I spend my money with who, and where I want. No business has the right to tell me I have to use a certain salesperson or else. They continue to bother me with phone calls, text messages, and mail from their dealership. I've told them several times, in person, and over the phone I would never walk through their doors again. Yet they persist. I cannot express enough, to buy your Toyota from Midland TX Toyota!!! They are so much better than this.

Original appt was to check out an equinox and focus hatchback (price range of 4k to 7k). Got there and was shown an altima (17k). When asked about the original 2 cars I was told they went to auction and they had multiple things wrong with them. So I took a test drive, when I asked about the price the sales man wouldn't tell me to we got back to the dealership. And it was only after they crunched numbers did I find out the price which was like 4x what I wanted to spend. I told him it was high than what I planned to spend. He then went into breaking down what everything was costing including the warrantyon it. So I physically signed the paper. While on the test drive I noticed the tpms light was on, the check engine light and also there was no rear view mirror. I asked the salesman about these. He told me they were going to be fixed, he had already ordered the rear view mirror and the sensor had been replaced just not reset and i just needed to set up an appt to get these done. He had a paper that he physically wrote down the items they were going to fix. Ended up getting the car. Take it home and on the way was trying to set up an appt. Was transferred to the service dept where no one answered and the coven is full. Called multiple times with the same outcome. Got home and started reading over the paperwork. I noticed there were some changes. So then I'm calling to get in touch with the salesman. Again multiple calls to be put on hold and then after 5 mins the phone was hung up(multiple times). By the time I got someone I was very upset. I told him I need to speak to some one that could help me and to please not put me on hold because it kept hanging up. After telling him what I noticed, I was sent to the manager. He proceeded to tell me that I did have 100000 mile warranty on the car and that they were going to fix all of the issues listed previously. He then got the service manager on the phone who help get me an appt set up. With in the week between getting the car and the appt, I noticed the muffler hanging. At the check in for appt, I asked if they could also look at the muffler. When I picked it up, I was told they were still trying to find a mirror for the car (I personally bought one for 19.99 plus tax at auto zone), the tpms sensor was missing on one tire and that it was my responsibility for getting that fixed because the car was sold as is and the muffler was put on crooked and if I wanted they could set me up an appt at the muffler shop. Of course at my expense because it was sold as is. So even though the salesman lead me to believe these issues would be fixed in now being told that I have to do it at my expense. I wish I could get my money back and give this car back. I feel like this whole experience was a bait and switch, then being lead to believe one thing to only end up being lied to. If I could go back I would have walked away and never looked back...

    Santiago.. What can I say about Santiago!? He does his job like he should; he sells cars. But, to…read moreknow what I mean when I say he does it with STYLE, you have to deal with the typical Odessa/Midland level of poor customer service and disconnect from "passionate about your job" on a daily basis, which I think we ALL do! First, about Santiago.. a week prior to my face-to-face meeting with him, I told him I was honestly in the middle of several things that needed my immediate attention a lot more than talking to him about buying a vehicle. He texted me a pic of his business card and left me alone. Once things slowed down for me the next week, I contacted him. We texted for 2 days about car/credit stuff. Then, we met at the dealership and it still wasn't smooth-sailing on my part. We weren't EXACTLY sure of the car.. Test drove several. We weren't thrilled with the trade-in offer..several attempts were made to make it just right. We weren't sure we could even afford the increase in payment..we were given ample time to think and talk it out. Santiago never once showed impatience. He spent countless hours with us and probably thought several times that he still wasn't going to make a sale. If he did think that, he never treated us badly because of it. There are 3 kinds of salesmen in the business.. The FAKE kind that you can spot a mile away and just want to run from. The kind that just, quite honestly, SUCK at their job because they weren't meant to do it so they have no passion for it. Then there's the third kind, Santiago.. GENUINELY nice, funny, diligent, comfortable to be around, and knowledgeable. He even offered to help in the future with bringing my vehicle in for oil changes if I needed it, or to just contact him with ANY problem, and he convinced me that he meant it! Everyone's experience anywhere differs from someone else's. But, to give a business 1 star when there are so many moving parts to ANY business just isn't fair, unless every single aspect of it failed. Just like when we go out to eat.. The waiter/waitress starts at 25% in our mind. It's up to them to maintain that percentage throughout our dining experience. If the kitchen didn't cook our steak properly, that's not the server's fault.. That's the kitchen! West Texas Nissan could be viewed the same way; many moving parts all working well together to maintain a rating of 5 stars: Santiago did his part.. 1 star Vehicle selection.. 1 star The "numbers guy".. 1 star Financing ease and efficiency.. 1 star Going above and beyond in every way to make us FEEL like we were supported throughout the entire experience.. 1 star 5 stars!! West Texas Nissan, I will refer everyone to your business. 5 stars!! Santiago, I will send my own CHILDREN to you when they are ready to buy. Thank you for doing your job with style!
