I had talked to Mike Nausedas about me sending him checks once per month to cover the cost of the lessons and driving test.I sent three checks to cover 18 hours of lessons and the road test fee and my Granddaughter only took 6 hours of driving lessons and her permit expired. After numerous attempts to contact my Granddaughter with no luck. I Emailed Michael to get a refund for the hours of lessons not used on September 6th. Michael told me in an Email "no problem I'll figure it out". I sent another Email to Mike with checks #s and dates and amounts that I paid and received no response. It is now 9/23/23 and I don't even know if Mike still works there or the company is still viable. I'm very surprised by this non response as Mike and Patty were working with me as to my Granddaughter's driving lessons.

I had a great experience going to this school and have zero complaints. This was the thing that stood out the most to me with my time in the yard and maybe my entire time there! He picked with every little thing we did with driving and I was frustrated at first but when it came time to test I realized that he actually fine tuned my driving and it made me realize how good he really was at his job! He made us into really good drivers! Bobi is amazing at being a yard instructor and it would be amazing if we had a bobi at every Smith and Solomon then every student can experience the dedication and attention he showed all of his students! Bobi was always up and interacting with everyone! Always joking with people and teaching! If you had a question he would answer it and would help with whatever he could! I didn't really get to work with Tom too much but from the interactions I had with him, how could anyone not like this guy! Amazing personality and an all around good guy! The administrations ...there are no words for how helpful and amazing these people are! I couldn't tell you who is better out of the administration and the instructors! I have never met anyone more helpful than Terri! She makes you feel welcome and is eager to help! Darren engages with the students and is in the yard often! He is willing to set bias aside and remain neutral with any issue you present to him and make you feel like he is on your side! He also teaches maneuvers and covers pretrip. He's a versatile man! I didn't interact with Bernice much but from the experiences that I have had with her, she is just as amazing as any employee there! I have toured a few schools in the area and spoke with many people all around and this is definitely the best school there is in this area! Look no further and enroll at Smith and Solomon!​

But his comment was HE wasn't getting out of the car No he didn't.... the kid picked up the cones right after parking and aggravating the nest. Safe. No I think that's very poor safety practices.

They surpassed my expectations. The instructor took me on a last minute practice session which definitely helped me in passing my test. He knew it was my first time driving and made the experience feel safe and encouraging. On my third lesson, I was assigned an instructor named Johnny. From the start, he was aggressive sharply pointing out my mistakes and yelling when I had trouble changing gears. He kept telling me to go over the speed limit, even though there was a car very close in front of me, which felt unsafe. He also told me to keep looking up, but that made it difficult to see the speedometer, which only added to my stress. He would playfully punch my arm during the lesson, but it didn't feel appropriate and came across as unprofessional. Because of this experience, I didn't feel comfortable or supported during the lesson. It made me realize how important it is to have an instructor who is calm, respectful, and professional, especially when you're just starting out. If you decide to go through this driving school, I highly recommend asking for Tom and not Johnny!!
