Called yesterday to clear/repair a clogged drain line. They first scheduled for the next day, then called back to offer same day service (a great help to us). Jake and his crew did an excellent, totally professional job. He explained everything and wrote a detailed explanation as a part of the invoice. We were first referred to Severson by a property manager we had used some time ago. His referrals for us were always first rate, and this was again no exception. Great service! read more

I called Severson Plumbing this morning to request a plumber to unclog my kitchen sink. I was able to get an afternoon appointment. Nick showed up right on time and in less than an hour, he had snaked the pipe to clear the blockage. Before starting the job, he carefully laid down plastic sheeting as well as several towels to protect the cabinet floor. When the work was completed, he cleaned up the small amount of debris on the floor. Nick could not have been more professional. This is the second time I have used Severson Plumbing. Their technicians are conistently competent and professional. read more

Eddie Toledo came out to address an ongoing water leak. The man was an extreme professional. You can tell when someone knows what they're doing and he certainly did! In addition, he was pleasant, thorough and cleaned up after himself. A great representation of a company that I would hire to come back. Thanks for the great work Eddie! read more

Severson has taken care of our plumbing needs for five years. They are always professional, courteous, and knowledgeable from the phone call to make the appointment, to the service call. Today Eddie de-scaled our tankless water heater and removed clogged hair in the shower. I notice how he listens to my concerns about the things to fix, works efficiently and effectively, offers advice to manage the ongoing shower problem, and makes sure the work he does is complete by double checking. He ran water in the kitchen to make sure we had hot water. And he tested the drain. Having a professional earn your trust like Eddie is a wonderful thing! I highly recommend him and Severson plumbing. read more

We had a re-pipe done. We just purchased our place and learned of a work order in place to have the work done. The repipe went well. The drywall repair on the other hand was horrible. We now have a this eyesore to look at. I reached out to ask if this can be resolved and they blew me off. Would not recommend them. read more

Disappointed On 8/15/23, my neighbor came to my door with a technician from Severson because she was experiencing a leak in her garage ceiling that was coming from my unit above. The technician came to the conclusion that the leak was coming from a flange in the guest bathroom that needed to be replaced. I had the flange replaced that night at a cost of $325. A week later, my neighbor texted me saying that the leak had returned. Another Severson technician came out and said they needed to do a leak search, but that the walls had to be tested for asbestos before they could cut into the walls to do the search. When I asked them about why the toilet flange I had replaced didn't fix the problem, they claimed that this was a new leak, and not the same leak from the week before. Upon listening to my voice messages, a representative from Severson had left me a message saying that my neighbor called them and "was having the leak again." Seems odd that a different leak would show up in the exact same place within one week. Own your mistakes. Severson did not fix my leak problem, and I paid them $325 for unnecessary work. After having another contractor come in to assess the situation, they were able to determine that the source of the leak was coming from a totally different bathroom. Severson wasn't even close. I do not recommend Severson Plumbing. read more

Too greedy. Came back to my house for something they didn't fix right to begin with. Asked them to fix something else. Oh, thats a new service call and a $205 fee to touch anything Um....you're already here and I had to rearrange my day to come back because you didn't fix right the first time. Further, I was happy to pay for the new, small item, Just didn't warrant at $205 charge. Left a bad taste. Won't be calling again read more

I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you for the wonderful experience. The lady on the phone + Evan and Nick made the bad news of roots in the main pipe swallowable, and the communication put us at ease. My wife was very happy with the cost, quality of work, and our experience overall will lead us to recommending Severson Plumbing to all who ask. Thank you! read more

Finally a plumbing company you can trust!! After almost being taken to the cleaners for drain cleaning at a crazy price of almost $9,000 (do not call Rooter Hero!!) I called Severson based on a referral. I couldn't be happier. Evan came out and assessed the situation. Came to the conclusion we just needed to clean the toilet out better and change our old fixtures and voila! Drains working and a savings of thousands of dollars. I am so thankful for these guys. When I need any work done they have my business and trust in a company is essential. read more

We were recommended Severson by a neighbor. We have had them work on several projects in our home. The first was to upgrade a faucet that provides water to our pool. Second was to rebuild two very old toilets and one angle stop. The third time was to replace three faucets and three angle stops. Every time we were met with promptness, courtesy, professionalism and transparency. We've worked with Eddie several times and he is pleasant. He will always quote us before moving forward with the service. They are also very tidy and neat. read more

My water heater went out on one of the coldest days of the year. I'm in a 3rd story condo and servicing and replacing the water heater is a pain. Severson plumbing was recommended by my HOA. I called and they came out the same day and worked around my work schedule. They informed me that my water heater was under warranty and the price was really reasonable to repair (to be clear they did not install the water heater originally). They replaced a part and the water heater was working fine. But it turned out there was a small gas leak. So they came back out and replaced another component the next day. The water heater was working again perfectly. Again there was a small gas leak. They came out the same day at no charge and trouble shooted it and it now works great and has no leaks. 3rd times and charm and they earned my 5 star review the hard way...by standing behind their work. read more

I want to say Thank You to Eddie that came out in such short notice to clear the clog in my kitchen sink. It took him awhile to unclog the drain but it got done. Cannot say enough amazing things about them! Our contractor said we had a slab leak at our Dana point rental. They spent hours confirming we did not. Then a contractor told us we need to replace quite a bit of pipe at our main home in San Juan and severson did a diagnostic confirming it's not necessary at this time. They are honest, prompt and ethical -something most businesses lack now days! Will use them for all of our homes! read more

Look at this beautiful faucet just installed by Severson Plumbing!!! They are so quick, efficient, professional and priced right. Scotty was so sweet and respectful; he covered his shoes in booties and wore a mask (during covid-19). He was super fast and left my kitchen cleaner than when he started. Kurt provided super customer service in selecting and ordering the faucet too. Our water pressure is better with this faucet too. I am super happy with this install. read more

We have hired Severson for multiple projects over the past decade plus. They are professional, prompt, courteous and honest in every instance. I had no hot water and phoned my handyman and explained my issue. My water heater of 14 years is located in my attic and he was not able to do a service call on a Friday afternoon and referred me to Severson. I received a call back right away and Garrett was able to troubleshoot that afternoon. He was responsive, knowledgeable, excellent customer service and offered 3 solutions. I went with a new water heater and luck was on my side the job got done the next day on Saturday, Garrett and Eddie did a wonderful job. They were timely, prepped my home due to water heater in the attic, did an excellent job , 5 star service. I will use Severson again and highly recommend them . read more

Liars and cheats! Don't even consider them! I had a leak under my sink and called them to come give a quote to fix it. It took them all of two minutes to see what the problem was, and they charged me $145.00 for the quote, and it didn't even apply towards the cost of the actual repair! The quote was almost $300.00 on top of that. I ended up calling another company who didn't charge for a quote and got the job done perfectly for only $100.00. They said it was an easy fix. It also turns out that they lied about something else as well (long story). I wish I had never paid them because they never told me they would charge for the quote. read more

We LOST OUR HOME and most of our belongings because of these jokers! DO NOT TRUST THEM! Our landlord told us Severson would be coming to do some routine plumbing work on our house. After the job was finished, we were really disappointed to find that all of our furniture, dishes, and other belongings were covered in thick plaster dust that nobody bothered to clean-up. Then, about a few days after the job, a pipe leaked where they had done the work and caused major flooding through the entire floor. There was extensive damage to the property, our furniture, and our belongings. Even though the pipes that leaked were the ones they worked on, Severson took zero responsibility. (These pipes had no problems previously.) We were told that we would not be reimbursed for any of the damage. In fact, the landlord's insurance paid Severson EVEN MORE money to fix their own mess! We had to be relocated because of the damaged property, so we decided to move out entirely. We had no idea that after only two weeks from allowing Severson into our home, we would end up homeless with most of our belongings ruined. We never received an apology from anyone at the company. The whole thing reeks of nefarious business. I'm convinced it could be some sort of scam they run to get paid for the original job in addition to the fix-up job for the mishap they purposefully created (paid for by the insurance). Please learn from our mistake! DO NOT let them into your home. You may end up homeless like us! read more

We had a sudden pipe burst causing a slab leak in the closet under our stairs, which flooded the adjacent rooms too. We called Severson plumbing recommended by our neighbor,as our regular plumber hadn't responded to our voicemail even after 3 hours on a regular weekday morning. Severson Plumbing responded immediately and had a plumber Dylan at our house with 2 hours. Dylan was great, he systematically checked everything and detected the leak stopped it and advised us about the next steps. A couple of days later Dylan was back to reroute the pipe and did everything with minimal damage to the wall. He came with a colleague whose name I unfortunately did not note down. I would definitely recommend Severson Plumbing and Dylan, who not only does a great job but it really good at explaining the damage and the steps needed to rectify it. Friendly, professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and reasonable. Just to note, I did not have any specific work done by them on my pipes/house. But my interaction with them was definitely notable. I had an unexplained spike in my water bill and the water company and HOA noted that there has not been any reported issues in the area, and there was nothing wrong with my meter. But on my end I could not figure out what was going on that caused my spike in the water bill. I suspected a slab leak or something buried in my house or underground. So I called Serverson, referred to them by a friend who had work done by them on a slab leak at his place. I talked to Kurt first and he was very open to giving me info options and pricing and knowledgeable in general. He said he could come out for an initial look around, no charge. Hooray! My appointment was scheduled between 11a-1p Friday. He called a little before 11a and noted that he had a job that was more complicated then expected so would be late, closer to 1-1:30p. It wasn't a problem for me. He said he'd send out one of his other guys, Dan, and apologized for any trouble. I appreciate the early heads up, instead of letting me wait around without an update till the end of the scheduled time frame. Dan called around 1p and said he was on his way... and got there as expected around 1:30p. We discussed the issue, he did a thorough review of all the bathrooms, toilets, sinks, etc. He checked the main valve and meter. He used a sort of super stethoscope to listen to the pipes for any potential leaks. After listening to everything (and showing me how it worked, and explaining the tool and test), he confirmed that he did not think there was any sort of slab leak or leaky pipes in general. He then discussed with me other potential issues that could have caused the spike in my water bill and advised that I keep and eye on it further and call them back if it continues to be an issue. He was very friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable too. He took the time to review and explain things even through it wasn't a "paid" stop. There was no bs, and I really appreciate that. At the moment it seems everything is ok... and that has been supported as I have been tracking my water meter... but I feel confident in Severson. If I have any issues later, I would definitely check with them again. read more

When they re piped my home, one person from their crew completely broke off an air duct and didn't even mention it to me. I found out a year later when I tried selling my home and had an inspection done. It cost me to lose my buyer. one guy stepped and cracked my drywall ceiling. When they fixed it, it wasn't the same and it was noticeable. I paid big money, for a bad job. Only thing was good was they were fast. read more
