Was charged $75 to overnight there, nothing special about the place to justify that price. Will not return again.

I would call Seven Winds rustic but homey. It's a very nice location, although there ARE train tracks just across the road. It didn't go through too many times in the night. Ear plugs might be a good idea. The gal who signed me in was very helpful and friendly. I will say the laundry area and the bathrooms could use a good scrubbing, but they weren't horrible. I've seen worse. The price was just right. $25 for the night. I would stay here again. read more

If I.could give this site less than a one star rating. This is totally filthy showers bathrooms and laundry facilities. This I s obviously a ran down motorhome park with a few campsites available. I felt very unsafe here. Even the office was closed due to a non-functioning ac. The ONLY good thing about this facility was the manager Jalissa (?). She was very pleasant and helpful. Place is a nice place for a stopover. Full hookup/drive through level spaces. However, getting into their park is cumbersome and involves a mile or so of dusty gravel road. Again, nice place. read more

If I could give this less than 1 star I would. This is not an rv park. This is a rundown trailer park filled with full time residents with a few campsites scattered about. It is absolutely disgusting. The bathrooms and showers are filthy and in disrepair. Our full hook up site has no running water. I can't believe this place is a Good Sam rv park. We didn't plan very well when packing to take a trip out west. I didn't pack salt, pepper and laundry soap. The camp hostess (Jalissa I think) went to the corner store, unbeknownst to us, and purchased the salt and pepper. She also brought us back some laundry soap! Now THAT is going well beyond what we would have expected! She was such a pleasant person that we immediately felt we had a friend. The park was clean and parking facilities we just fine. read more

We stayed here for three months as I'm a traveling nurse and I can say that this place provided everything we needed in a home away from home. We have three dogs and there were plenty of fields and trees and grass for them to be able to walk and play. It was quiet while we were here and the host was super wonderful to us and always happy to help with anything we may have needed. Laundry was on site and bathrooms and showers if you need them. We didn't encounter any issues during our stay here. And even left our camper a couple times to go home and felt safe in doing so. Lots of trees and shade for us as well. read more

There are two RV parks in Liberal, KS. The other is called Western Star. We chose Seven Winds because it seemed more quiet.. but quiet is a relative term. Seven Winds has nice trees and grass. But it's across the road from a train that came through a few times during the night at low speeds. Western Star is also by the tracks, but on much busier Highway 54. We noticed on the way by that Western Star had no trees or grass either. Be forewarned, the bathroom at Seven Winds was filthy. And the advertised continental breakfast was nowhere to be found. So therefore, two stars. read more

We trusted our Good Sam Club map as a good referral. We called on Tuesday evening from Santa Fe as our plans had changed and said that spaces were available. We arrived and pulled in an partner went in to pay. Said it was what looked like an office but looked like a storage room with Danish pastry packages thrown about. As we pulled into the spot we looked around at the park residents which all seemed to be full time residents. And then my partner advised that I was not to walk the dogs by myself. We sat for a few minutes and then looked to see if their was a Walmart in town and there was one. We then for "grins sake" checked to see if there were other parks in Liberal. Found Western Star and contacted them and they had spaces available. We decided to make a drive to check out the park before going to Walmart. read more

I get the reasons for the crappy reviews, I really do. However the current people running it just took over two and a half weeks ago and they are trying so hard to make this place better. We didn't get in till almost 10 p.m. and yet the guy walked all the way out the site with us and showed us how to hook everything up and even gave us the ' premium' spot crocheted even though we were leaving early. There aren't a lot of camping options between Wichita and Oklahoma. Take this one. read more

This place needs some help. We paid for full hookup but water pipe was leaking so didint hook up. Neighbor had water on even though leaking so wokeup to small lake beside our trailer. Asked for wifi code and was told she was working on it but never heard back. Advertisement said continental breakfast included 6a-9a but there was nothing in the laundry room space at 8 am and appeared there hadn't ever been. Refrigerator was empty and dirty. Showers were covered with mildew. I understand the current owners took over recently but following up on promises and as advertised doesn't take much. They did offer military discount of 15%. Train very close by rattled the trailer and there are numerous dogs running about with no one picking up after them. Not a place I would stay again. read more

Aug.7th 2014 How it got a 6 from Good Sam is beyond my understanding .They have had the park for at least a year and still have not changed the sign from last owners .Office had no making of an office ,looked more like a storage room. Its not really an R V park for travelers ,more a full time park for worker in the area . word playground was a joke ,it was one rusted swing on dried out dirty . Cats roaming all over and picnic table was very old and icky ,would not even put my cat bowl on the table .STAY away at all cost , sleep at Walmart if need be .Be weary of Good Sam Club as this was NOT a 6 not even a 2 read more

I'm not sure why the negative reviews for the park. As far as booking and cleanliness are concerned this park was top notch. Can't give 5 stars as the trees did need trimmed and due to the fact that it was across the highway from the train tracks. Otherwise it was an A+ stay and I would recommend. read more

I've stayed at this park multiple times. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a quiet park. They give away free wifi and free breakfast which is pretty awesome! It was nice to see people out walking their dogs and people talking and having a good time together.I also enjoyed the simplicity of the park too! Not too high tech and not dry camping either. It's a nice happy medium. And did i mention I had a wonderful shade tree and grass?!! Thank you Seven Winds!!! I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others!!!! read more
