What an unbelievable place with great management! Such great scenery and relaxation spots. They really took care of us and we greatly appreciated it. It was a much needed break from reality! Highly recommend this spot to everyone!

Thank you to Seven-Up for a wonderful stay this weekend! Could not have been more accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, a perfect place to lay back after checking out the surrounding wine country. The home cooked breakfast we had in the morning was delicious and just what we needed to recharge for another day. Such a beautiful property & the rooms are taken care of so well. Can't wait for our next stay!

We had a great time at the "Ranch" It's not a working ranch...but the accommodations were clean and comfortable in one of the two unit cabins located on the property. The in keeper, Linda was a delight and the breakfast was wonderful. The location is perfect for explorting the wineries in Fairplay. We will be back.

The car would not start and I could not make it down to the charger, which is only 1 mile There is a level-2 tesla charger here, but it has not yet been approved by the county to use for public EV charging. it's only meant for employees and owners. Regardless, since I rolled in on 0% battery charge, they made a exception and let me plug in for a little while so that I can actually make it up to the level 3 charger in the morning. The rooms are clean and quiet. 1st floor rooms have a gated patio out back thats nice breathing in that fresh mountain air.

One time I found a giant tampon in my bathroom. Then I found where are you staying on my sheet, but this last time was the worst. One roll of toilet paper in the room, my pillow smell like perfume, but worst of all was a lack of respect and derogatory racist feelings I felt when I was outside at the vending machine. I was feeding money to the machine and the door to left me burst open. One of the managers or owners stepped out and looked at me. Right off the bat he asked what are you doing here? Why are you here? He demanded "do you have a room here" and I said yes. He said yes which one and questioned my honesty. He thought it was some kind of homeless bum. I told him which room I was in and he asked me twice more to verify it. I've never been so humiliated in my life. These guys are horrible human beings.. I'll never go again. Avoid like the plague.

The front desk crew were super nice and helpful. When we were staying here there was a road closure due to snow storms, so people were scrambling to get rooms for the night. We already had reservations, and didn't have to worry. They gave us a fantastic room on the 6th floor number 607 (yes, laugh at the "6-7" joke). It was large with a king bed and a great view of the valley. All rooms are non smoking which is good as the casino is not. Rooms are reasonably priced during the week, but I feel they are overpriced on the weekends.

This is a two level casino, the lower level has the buffet, a asian restaurant, I think it's a Japanese restaurant and a steakhouse in the lower level. The upper level has two cafes and the best part, they're open until midnight on weekends. They have beverage stations located around the perimeter of the casino also, that's a nice perk. With a players card they also give a discount on meals in the cafe, I don't know about the buffet. I gotta stop here since it's along my travels. I'd like to try their buffet sometime. They do a pretty decent job of keeping the smoke at bay from people that smoke. I decided it was snack time so why not get a bite before resuming my drive.. I ordered some fish & chips, it was the decision between that or loco moco, their version of loco moco didn't sound too appealing. The fish came out fairly quickly, it was quite nice, crispy coating and actually see and taste fish in the middle instead of a lot of batter. I gotta travel everywhere with my malt vinegar, they had heinz malt vinegar amd I can tell you that's one of the malt vinegar brands I detest. The chips/fries were okay, I wouldn't order it but it did come with the order. The fries looked good but the weren't as crunchy on the outside as I would prefer. This casino is worth another visit for sure.

My husband and I have been to the Green Toad Inn twice now - both times were for accommodations…read moreduring a whitewater rafting trip on the American River. I cannot recommend this B&B enough. The food is unsurpassed, the rooms are beautifully appointed, the beds are comfortable, the grounds are lovely and the location is convenient. THE FOOD: The first morning you will be served the most delectable french toast of your life, along with scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. The second morning will likely be a spinach and egg quiche with graham cracker puff pancakes, apple cake and shoo-fly pie. Each breakfast begins with a parfait of fresh fruit, yogurt and granola. Accompanying each meal is also orange juice, grapefruit juice, coffee, tea, home-made oatmeal, and a long list of other thoughtful accouterments. Oh, and the best part...eating on the deck while you look out over the sweeping lawn and listen to the various water features and birds chirping. You sit there, immersed in the majestic pine forest that surrounds the house and think, IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS! As an aside, the inn-keeper also baked us fresh cookies and left them out for us when we returned from our rafting trip. THE ROOMS: The rooms and the home are plush and beautifully appointed. Most have private baths, but if you are in a room that doesn't have its own shower, don't worry. There are plenty of washrooms throughout the house and you never have the feeling of being hemmed in or crowded by any other guests. I have stayed in both The Toad Abode and The Nest and both were outfitted with robes, slippers, ample towels, water bottles, chocolates, a hair dryer, shampoo, etc. The room you choose to stay in will determine whether you spend more time on the deck or in the interior of the home. Both are spectacular and by no means exclusive. However, some rooms open onto decks and others open to the inside of the home. Whichever you choose, you can't go wrong. THE GROUNDS: With over a hundred acres (with trails), a pond, a natural spring and towering pines, the grounds beckon to be explored. If you're not a natural-born hiker, the grounds can be enjoyed from the multiple levels of decking that "bedeck" the house. In the evenings, there is nothing more inviting than donning a swimsuit, robe and slippers and heading out to the hot tub for a dip. Grab a bottle of water or soda from the fully-stocked guest fridge and a homemade cookie and you're set. THE LOCATION: The B&B is about 15 minutes outside of town, but that is in no way a downside because of the privacy it affords. Honestly, you will feel like you are on top of the world.
