Their menu honestly surprised me as they have so many options to choose from, and the portion sizes are pretty generous. I got the Gravy Train, which came with buttermilk biscuits smothered in country sausage gravy like smotheredddd! It was served with hash browns and two sunny-side-up eggs. It was such a comforting, hearty meal and definitely filled me up. Then I tried the chicken fried steak with eggs, which was another big and satisfying dish. It also came with same sausage gravy, hash browns, and eggs (I went with sunny side up again). AST but not the least, I tried the farmhouse biscuit sandwich, which came on their soft and really good buttermilk biscuits, with scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, cheese, a generous side of hash browns, and a cilantro jalapeño sauce that was especially delicious. It does get pretty busy, especially on weekends, so there might be a bit of a wait but in my opinion, it's worth it. Oh and the coffee was okay...not amazing, but it did the job. My husband had a hard time to choose the food because there were so many sizzling foods so he asked the server (we think her name is MaryLy?) to surprise him. And her pick was perfect! Smoke and mirrors... You can definitely see why there are more and more negative reviews on this place in recent months. Seems to be a shift in an infrastructure that is causing an issue. This has the worst sour coffee which is a direct reflection in under extraction in the brewing process. More than likely either to course of a grind or water isn't warm enough, or both. Our waiter was attentive and nice. It was 8:30 in the morning with 11 servers on the floor with 4 tables. There were 3 to 4 servers sitting at the bar eating food and talking also. All of this indicates management mishandling a schedule along with policy on eating on the floor. The food was average at best with bland food (probably pre-shipped) and dressed up with different flavors to mask an ill consumed recipe. The menu reflects that also. This is why there are a million different kinds of pancakes, French toast and waffles. However on its own there is nothing special about the batter for the pancakes or waffles. The Avacado Tacos were under seasoned eggs with cheap corn tortillas but a decent salsa verde. Great location, large, shaded patio, and food that's just ok. The staff are nice enough, but management is likely MIA. For example, I got the eggs Benedict: beautiful poach, and served cold...hash browns extra crispy as requested, also cold. Daughter's tacos were served hot, and she also got a cinnamon roll that was exceptionally tasty. Her boyfriend got the waffle...served cold with no syrup. Hubby got the "gravy train," and for the first time, left half of it on the plate (it was also served cold). Two of our coffees came out before our food arrived, one arrived after. My mimosa showed up after our food was almost all eaten. So many inconsistencies...yet everyone was super apologetic and very friendly. We really wanted to like this place. It's never super loud even when crowded, but kids (and parents!) can still enjoy themselves. I love the smoothie bowls, but their Benedict's and sweet items are also good. I understand why this place is rated #1 in the area. Everyone was so nice! I decided to sit outside, and both indoor and outdoor seating had plenty of room for dining by yourself or with a group! I started with their signature latte, which was a little sweeter than I had expected but that's my own issue. The flavors were of excellent quality! The food was wonderful as well. Going out to breakfast has been hard with my dietary restrictions, so I wanted to experiment with vegan style restaurant. This place has food from both diets. I tired the vegan waffle, vegan biscuit, coffee, sourdough toast with vegan butter, and eggs over medium. Husband had the vegan Austin Benny and substituted real eggs. I must rate the waffle a 9/10! Have been here several times and the food is always good. I prefer the very berry waffles and French toast over strawberry Nutella waffles. The service is always on point. There can be a long wait but you can add yourself to the waitlist through online, we've done this twice where our travel time is enough time so that when we get to the place we only wait 5 to 10 mins at the most. read more

Came for brunch and had an excellent meal! The place had a really good vibe with a very modern feel to it. All the employees I saw had a smile on their face and our server was super nice and helpful on determining what I should order. This is a place I want to love but after two misfires, I'm looking for other options. First, it's a VERY expensive breakfast with most menu items hovering around the $20 mark. Got the Vegan Papas and they were a heavy dump of almost mash potato-like hashbrowns under a layer of underseasoned soyrizo. Even the chipotle crème couldn't save it. They really need to re-think the execution on this. My wife and kids liked theirs but the bill was over $100 for family of five. Also, the soy latte I got was extremely sweet...had to cut it with coffee...had a very strong flavor that wasn't great. Great laid back place to grab breakfast! I ordered the Seven Mile Latte and the Seaside Benny (which is a Benedict with crab cakes) with salsa verde and it did not disappoint! The crew was friendly and able to help out when needed. I was even approached by my waitress who was super kind and helpful. Everything was clean and neat. Hi, peeps. Hope your days are all Fundays. Used Yelp to get on the waiting list. This place, if you want in on Saturday brunch, no other way but to get on before even leaving the house. Got in, loved everything about it. Okay, so the service and food were great. One thing that was a bit off was the comical mountain of hash browns. I mean it. It was as if they thought I was three linebackers. Way too much. There was no way they needed to put that much on one order. Huge. I hate the idea of food waste. So I would ask for a half order next time. Was kinda on the expensive side. To drive 25 minutes, then still wait 25 more, then be seated, and wait maybe 10 more minutes, not worth the investment of sn hour, and $50 for breakfast, anywhere. Had to wait for them to brew their "regular" coffee, which was bitter & had a funky taste. We were there at 8:45 am, it should have been ready for breakfast. They have on the menu & their TV display that they have multiple milk alternatives, but they don't have cream? Menu has a ton of offerings geared towards vegetarian & heavy on the carbs. No way to really do a carnivore plate without costing an arm & leg. Hostess apparently slept through her alarm....because she was very loud about explaining it to the rest of the staff, over & over. She continued to be loud & have several more extensive conversation about personal stuff that we had to sit through & listen. What do you do on your day off for a holiday? You meet up with a friend for breakfast. I've been meaning to try this place for a very long time now and today was the day. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It's not quite cool enough for me for patio dining yet. The interior can seat many but still feels spacious. We came in early so there was no wait but by the time we left there were people waiting. Our server was friendly and easy to talk to. She was on point with recommendations since it was our first time. As for the food, I will most likely choose a Benedict if it's on the menu and they had several to choose from. I opted for the California one which is served on a biscuit instead of an English muffin. I missed that on the menu so it was my fault. I didn't enjoy it as much for that reason but the egg was poached nicely and the hollandaise sauce was perfect. The hash browns were a large portion and delicious. We decided to get the pancake flight to share but omg they were huge. Each one was delicious though so no complaints. This is a nice breakfast/brunch spot close to home! read more

My husband and I just finished eating there for Valentines Day breakfast. I ordered a Belgium Waffle well done. The server brought the syrup out about 10mins before my waffle showed up. Needless to say, I had to ask for hot syrup. The waffle had a funny taste and texture. I would not recommend getting this. I wanted some bacon to go with my waffles, but two slices were $5, which I thought was too expensive, so I passed on the bacon. My husband ordered the Texas tacos. There was hardly any egg and the hash-browns at the bottom of the tacos were mushy. They had a bunch of meat on them though. It would have been better to have the hash-browns on the side. This is definitely not a place for a standard country breakfast. I should have left when I saw the VEGAN menu section, but thought I would give it a try in the name of diversity and inclusion. First we joined the waitlist online. It kept us informed of our current status. However after not being called that our table was ready we decided to check with the host. She stated to get put on the real waitlist you have to check in when you arrive. While I completely understand that is the process of many restaurants it does not say it at all on their site. It states you will receive a text when your table is ready. The host stated they are aware of the lack on instructions to the guest but there is nothing they can do about it. Hence another 15 minute wait. Next if you like lukewarm overpriced food then this is your place. I ordered the gravy train and the gravy was bland, warm, and not enough to cover the entire biscuit. They just laid them out and put gravy over the top. Very deceptive. I also ordered a side of bacon understanding it was $5. What I didn't know it was 2 thin pieces of bacon, not what I expected when it said applewood thick bacon. I have never been to place that does not serve 3 pieces. Just be transparent. Next service was slow and again my food was like warm. Nothing special about this place. I don't mind for paying for quality and a good experience. This is one step up from IHOP. read more
