TWENTY6, named for the year the resort opened, is a modern bistro & bar that serves American fare and cocktails in a relaxed yet upscale setting. Nestled on the ground floor, in the restaurant and shops plaza across from the bougainvillea-filled main entrance and lobby, TWENTY6 is a beautiful place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. The dining room's decorative stamped-metal ceiling is a nod to the art deco concept and the daily ample sunshine invites visitors to enjoy a bright and cheery meal. TWENTY6 features a "casual chic" menu offering elevated comfort food, utilizing seasonal ingredients to create their diverse and ever-evolving menu. At my last lunch here on the 17th, I ordered the scrumptious Steak Frites, substituting the fries with broccolini. The meat was perfectly cooked medium rare and the broccolini were fresh and crisp. My cousin, Michelle, had a Seared Salmon Local Spinach & Quinoa Salad, a thoughtfully crafted bowl of greens that was hearty, healthy and delicious. We were thoroughly impressed by our dishes. Service was consistently friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. I would happily return to TWENTY6 if/when I stay at La Quinta Resort & Club again.

We were seated immediately, our server was nice but MIA. Our appetizer came out quickly , the chiles güeros we're very bland. They should've cooked them a little longer and added some seasoning inside with the shrimp. I was in the mood for tacos, but unfortunately, you have to get three of the same kind, They will not mix them. My husband's Birria tacos were very tender but a bit bland, and they gave us such a small portion of consume it. You couldn't dip your taco in it. We had to flag down the server, since she didn't check on us.. I frequent the casino more than I do the restaurant, but I will be back, only for the burgers.

All they had was Menudo. I thought I'd try it. Of course it was delicious. This Mexican traditional stew Reminded me so much of my mom's that she used to make it at home. It was very clean ,non-greasy. A lot of good flavor. Big portion of meat. I'm glad I had the opportunity to taste the Menudo, but I will be back to taste the pozole. These casinos have some hidden gems and it's my pleasure to taste them all.

Our server, Joel, was very hospitable and attentive. We went on a Friday early evening. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Several patrons were at the bar as well as at several tables. My Aunt & I shared a leisurely meal which included three appetizers and a caesar salad. Our server informed us of the option to order a 1/2 portion of the salad. It was a good choice. All the appetizers were very tasty especially the three different sauces that accompanied the hot wings: Jalapeño bbq, Blue Cheese & Avocado Ranch. I highly recommend POM Restaurant and look forward to returning again.

It was pretty good though, and I like how they put the marinara sauce at the bottom For entrées we got the rotisserie chicken and the Latin surf and turf. The rotisserie chicken was cooked well and the steak was good. The lobster however, was Baja lobster and that is neither my preference for my husband's but we did eat it with the steak and it was fine. The mashed potatoes were good that came with the rotisserie chicken. The rice and beans that came with the steak and lobster were pretty good. For dessert we got the mango cheesecake and the apple pie à la mode. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. We enjoyed the exceptional service by the food runner and water refill guy ....didn't get his name. He was fairly new. Our server was fine as well. We didn't see him much we saw the guy serving the water and bread more and he took great care of us. The restaurant is really DARK inside. Needed to use my flashlight a few times.
