In Harrisburg, it is a great place to meet people who share your interests, especially during these events. I've found it easy to talk with people about various subjects, which, as this is a "scholarly" bookstore, makes a lot of sense. I've actually managed to locate a few rare tomes and art pieces here over the years. Communication, however, is spotty. I've sent several inquiry emails that went unanswered. I've made phone calls where the callback with information never came. When dealing with the staff, they are cordial and professional with the immediate sale, but never seem interested in me or my money if they have to do additional work or communicate with me. I now only approach them looking for material if other locations fall through.
