Chicken lunch special: 1/4 rotisserie chicken, excellent rice, salad with homemade Italian dressing, garlic sauce & pita
Angela G.

Food is excellent, especially the: Chicken lunch special- 2 plates for the price of 1. Talk about helping people out financially to save some money & eat healthy! The service is extremely polite and they take phone orders, and will have it ready for pick up. Location is small, nothing fancy but clean friendly environment.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Sevan Chicken! Been eating here since I was a kid and it never disappoints! Never ever! The rice is good, the fries are too. The chicken is always on point and the skin *drools* Too damn good! And I mean the lunch special?! Buy one 1/4 chicken meal get one free ! Cannot beat that anywhere! 11-4 They also recently got new packing containers and that just is also a plus! Definitely eat here! And don't forget your garlic sauce! YUM! Sorry im enjoying my food right now and can't believe I've never left them a review before !

Restaurant: Very clean and spacious eating area. Easy parking. Price: Pricey (see menu) Food: Very good. Rice was a bit salty, but if you add the tomato with your bite, it takes the saltiness away. Hummus was decent, nothing special. Pita wasn't fresh, a bit hard, but ok to eat. if you're really hungry for this type of meal and no other places close by, I'd recommend it. Otherwise, I'd keep driving.

Where do I start with this ..... Ugh This place is so fricken delicious The chicken is always juicy and tender The garlic spread leaves you with wanting more all the time I wish they where slightly more generous with it But everything taste so yummy also the rice The chicken dinner is only 12.99 I believe But it's a lot of food you might want to share . The service is pretty good too ! And the ambience is chill nothing special Just a spot to eat

Best chicken soup ever! The rest of their food is wonderful, very fresh and home cooked but their chicken soup is the best!

Get the chicken, mutabal (baba ganouj/smokey eggplant), garlic sauce, bread. It's all you need. Happy, happy chicken life. K

Pretty good chicken. Descent values for what you pay, also. Sides are tasty. I prefer Sevan over Zankou any day.

Great rotisserie chicken. Home cooked Persian style rice and sides. Can't beat the price. Best chicken in Tujunga.

Similar to Zankou chicken. If you like Zankou, you'll also like this place, except these people seem to have a bigger menu selection.

Wow. That's all. This place is legit. The filet shish kabob…read morewas so tender and perfectly spiced. I could have eaten that all day. The chicken was juicy and mouthwatering deliciousness. The lamb was gamey, packed with flavor. We enjoyed every bite and can't wait to try this place out again. We ordered takeout, food was ready on time, service was great. Parking is a bit challenging since it's only street parking, but that's Montrose :P

The Seasoning Alley Mediterranean restaurant in Montrose…read more showed promise but landed somewhere in the middle. Here are some impressions from our visit earlier today. The restaurant is a casual, clean spot and has a welcoming environment. Service was attentive and friendly. Our salad was fresh and delicious and the meal portions were large and plentiful. Good hearty sized plates but low on taste and quality. Unfortunately, the pita was one of many low points. The pita arrived cold and slightly stiff, not warm and soft as we'd hoped. It lacked the toasty, chewy texture that makes pita so comforting and effective for scooping up dips and bites. Another low point was that our rice was barely warm, almost cold. Not good. The worst part of our meal had to be the hummus. It was almost frozen and tasted as if it was just scooped out of the freezer. Terribly disappointing. Our Chicken Kabob had a tender interior with a nicely charred exterior. The spices and marinade showed potential, but the overall flavor profile didn't quite soar beyond the ordinary. Wouldn't call it standout, yet it wasn't bad. It was just barely okay. The falafel tasted fresh, but the exterior could have used a bit more crispness. Interior was moist enough, with chickpea flavor present, though it didn't leave a lasting impression. Our overall impressions were that our meals were just barely okay for a casual dinner, but it didn't move into the "great" category. We were disappointed. We expected better quality. For improvement, heating the pita and rice to perfection and dialing in the falafel crust would elevate the overall experience. A touch more depth in the chicken kabob seasoning or a signature sauce could help distinguish the dishes. If you're in the mood for a low-key Mediterranean option with reliable service, this spot is worth a try. It's a safe bet for an okay meal, with good service and good size portions for a casual night out with friends or family. Considering their prices, for repeat visits, I'd hope to see more consistency across staples like the rice, pita and falafel, and a bolder finish on the kebabs to push the overall rating from "good but not great" to "really good." Pita and rice arrived cold. The Falafel could have been crisper. Chicken kabob flavor could be more distinct. The Hummus was horrible. Next time, I'll pass on this place. Cheers!
