Been coming here for at least 15 years. The food is consistently good. You can feed a family of 4 for $15-20. The garlic sauce if bomb, but the tahini kinda tastes like armpit, so when I order the shawarma, I ask for garlic sauce instead. Soooo gooood! read more

This is practically the same thing as Zankou chicken, and thats a godo thing. I only came here once but i was ultimately satisfied. I got the chicken rice combo with hummus and pita bread. The rice was seasoned well and the chicken was pretty good. One thing I must say though that the chicken was a little dry so at times it was pretty difficult to eat. Very straight forward place. Roto chicken is bomb. Their lunch special buy 1 get 1 free is amazing. You get a quarter chicken with 2 sides and another quarter chicken with 2 sides. Rice and Hummus is what I usually get and EXTRA GARLIC SAUCE. read more

Sevan! My family has been coming here for YEARS. Since I was a kid! We are regulars. We absolutely love your food. I loved the woman who used to run the cash register. But whoever decided to hire that cashier who has been working there for a little while now needs to find a replacement. She is SO rude. Every time. Today she charged me for the wrong order, after I clearly said who I was picking up for and she repeated the name and order back to me, then gave ME attitude for the mistake she made. Started tossing the calculator around. Gave me a horrible look when I tried to compliment her to ease the situation because it was not a big deal, then completely dismissed me after throwing my food in a bag. She is always rude and unpleasant. I refuse to go there if I have to deal with that woman. I'll find another sevan. Today was the last time I'm putting up with that as a customer. I get it. That job is hard. But there is no need to be so mean to people buying your product. read more

Best chicken soup ever! The rest of their food is wonderful, very fresh and home cooked but their chicken soup is the best!

Obviously, some people like this place, but I can't give it a thumbs up. I had no problem with the service, but the food was pretty "bleh." The chicken was fine, nothing wrong with it, but it tastes just like every other rotisserie chicken out there, nothing unique or special to recommend it. The Lule was awful, I've enjoyed this dish before and this might have been the biggest taste disappointment I've experienced in awhile. It came with rice and beans, and the rice was awful. I've eaten food from this location on numerous occasions, but usually just as take out although I've eaten in the restaurant a couple of times. The restaurant itself is nothing to write home about and looks pretty dated and janky on the inside, but the food more than makes up for it. The rotisserie chicken is delicious and super flavorful, the garlic sauce causes a party in my pants, the rice pilaf is amazing, the hummus with pita, well I can live on that stuff alone. The kebabs are also pretty good. The falafels are a little on the dry side, but that's nothing a little tahini sauce can't fix. All in all, it's great food at a reasonable price. I got a lunch special platter with 1/4 chicken, rice, hummus, pita and a drink for less than $8, and I had food left over. Good job Sevan, good job. read more

Love the quarter chicken with two sides lunch special. At certain times of day it's buy 1 get 1 free, for $6.95. The lunch is soo much food, it ends up being two meals. I always get it with rice and beans, and the garlic sauce. The chicken is expertly grilled, super tender, and tastes great with the garlic sauce melted on. I've been going there for the last 14 years and it's as consistent as ever. The only downside of that is I still remember how much cheaper it used to be. #ihateinflation. The chicken at Sevan is the best chicken I've ever had! I'm from the deep south, my family is Greek and my father was a chef, so I've had plenty of comparison -- plenty of bar-be-qued chicken. The skin is crispy and perfectly seasoned and the meat melts in your mouth. The garlic sauce is also terrific. After I finish using it on their chicken, I freeze it and use the rest to make omelets, saute shrimp or vegetables and to cook fish. My husband had the Lula Kabob last night and said it is the best he has ever had. It was so juicy that the juice squirted out when he cut into it. I also love the hummus and eggplant dip. The falafel is full of flavor. The service is quick and the people working there are always friendly and courteous. We have been happy customers for almost ten years. Very fast service. I ordered their Shawerma (beef) plate. The rice was perfect and the beef was to die for... The hummus was very simple and tasted great with everything. I love the pickled turnips and was impressed by the quantity of food. I'm glad it was worth the price because I was nervous about how much I would get for about $11 and if it would be worth it. Sevan chicken used to be great, now its just mediocre. They try to immitate the garlic sauce at Zankou but fail. Portions are smaller than before but its the only business of its kind in the area besides Sis Chicken. Make sure to ask for pickes and pita bread otherwise you won't get it. read more

This a great family owned place to eat. The chicken is moist and the skin is crunchy and delicious. The garlic sauce is great. The sides are good too. The rice isn't something to write home about but is decent. We were 4 adults (2 of which who can pack it away) and 3 young children and we ordered 1 family platter and we all were pleasantly full with left overs. Which at less than $25 it was a great deal. Soooo delicious! I went one night right before they closed and the chickens were still fresh! Can you imagine my joy lol you would think that the chickens would taste different cuz they were already closing but they tasted so fresh! They are such a great staff!
