It's been a process to get here. I had pleasant experiences here before covid and am now looking for my face place. I received an email about a promotion for a microneedling pen so I decided to go ahead and try it out. THE PROCESS: called first week in November and scheduled something for first week in December. They canceled on me two days before my appointment. I called to reschedule in late December and the representative told me that no one was answering the phone at the rancho office. Called AGAIN the first week of January and was finally able to get someone on the phone after waiting over 22 minutes. Set my appointment for January 21st. THE MICRONEEDLING APPOINTMENT: SHASTINE WAS AMAZING. SUPER friendly and informative. She applied the numbing cream (REALLY WORKED- DIDN'T FEEL A THING) and then wiped it off 20 minutes later. The skinpen session was quick and painless- maybe 20 to 25 minutes. My only quick issue was at checkout. I had paid a certain amount for the promotion and the total was coming out to full price (kind of freaked me out). They are always calling me in late no matter how early I get to my appointment. Also always trying to reschedule me last minute ( the day off ) or day before...last month was because one of their machines broke down this time I don't know why. I bought a package and don't want to lose it. Results are good too..nurses are super nice all have been great but the ladies at the front desk are rude or have poor customer service. There's no reason to be like that as most people coming in just want to feel prettier and better about their appearance or address personal issues. This review is specifically for Shastine RN. I have been coming to SEV for years now for my laser. Shastine is by far my favorite. I specifically book my appointments surrounded her availability. She is kind, patient, sweet... and above all else very professional and thorough in her work/laser skills. She makes sure to adjust my settings as needed to maximize my results, and hits virtually all areas without missing spots. I can't wait for her to also begin injecting! I will trust her with filler, botox, etc any day. I go elsewhere for those services but will bring my business to SEV as soon as she begins the injecting. 10/10! Wouldn't recommend this location. They send appointment confirmation texts, reminding you of their cancellation policy and the fee they charge, all while cancelling or turning you away on the day of your service. I can't believe the level of unprofessionalism. The receptionist was apologetic and nice about it the first time, but when going in for my following appointment, I encountered the same unorganized chaos. I was texted 1 hour before my scheduled appointment with them scrambling to get that days appointments in order. You would think considering that they have a 48 hour cancellation policy that the business would extend that same courtesy and respect for their clients time when they are requesting last minute changes. do not recommend, find a more professional place to go, i have been coming here for a couple of months already and they when you schedule your appointment and if anything happens and you dont cancel or re schedule within 48 hours they charge you 50% THEY CHARGE YOUR CARD ON FILE.. Never do they explain that your card will be charged.. but every time i have an appointment they want me to come in earlier, or they are running off schedule so they will take longer to take me or they cancel your appointment the day of the appointment and you just have to deal with it. not only that but for all 7 or 8 sessions i have done i barely see a difference in the hair growth. I've been a loyal customer to Sev for years. I usually go to Redlands location because their customer service & timeliness is impeccable but I came to Rancho this time because it's closer to me. I was seen 40 minutes AFTER my appointment time. I wasn't late. Actually arrived 10 minutes before my appt & still was seen late. My sister also came here for her first time & was seen 30 minutes AFTER her appt time. Is this how we treat new clients? How can you expect retention when you're this late. Not coming back here. This review is based solely on pricing -- not the service. The nurses who perform the laser hair removal treatments have always been amazing and are in no way responsible for my 2-star rating. SEV used to be a great, affordable option in the laser hair removal space, but over my last two visits, the price increases have been absolutely unreasonable. I just paid $158 for laser hair removal on my underarms and Brazilian -- $79 per area. My previous visit was $120, which was already a noticeable jump from the visit before that. That's a significant increase in just a matter of months. It really feels like SEV no longer prioritizes affordability. Thankfully, I'm in the maintenance phase and only need a few sessions per year, but if you're just beginning your laser hair removal journey here -- good luck. You'll need about 7-8 sessions to see full results, which now adds up to a small fortune. Really disappointed to see the prices climb so steeply. So sad to see such a great option become less accessible. read more

This place is the worst. they will try to reschedule your appointment at the last minute and when you tell them you can not reschedul, they will have you waiting over an hour for your appointment. I love this place's aesthetics but the service requires better training and improvement. I purchased the back and face package. Unfortunately, it did nothing for me, I saw no changes. If anything, my results were worse than before. They require you to shave before your appointment which really irritated my skin. The nurses would always change and some would finish my appointment in 5 minutes, others a bit more detailed. The girls in the front are 8/10 clueless. During my follow-up consult, they tried charging me a random $50 without notifying me prior. When I tried to schedule another appointment, the girl did not understand what 2 weeks from now meant. As for seeing no changes, (in reality, worse than before because they required me to shave which made my hair thicker and even broke me out), they advised: 1. Hormones will determine how many treatments you really need because they hairs will continue to come back. 2. The treatments need to be done every 4-10 weeks depending on when you see results, then every 6 months for maintenance. I did every 2 then 4 weeks with little to no results. 3. They recommend 12 appointments for the face and back, yet I was told 6 would do the job since my hairs weren't very thick. Overall, it was a waste of money in my opinion. I wanted to wait to review SEV because I've only had one laser hair removal appointment and u wanted to give it time to give my honest review, but I'm already very pleased. I went to another place to get laser hair removal on my armpits and Brazilian and although I saw good improvement with my armpits at the other place, my Brazilian seemed so stubborn. I also felt like the other place I went to, the person just wasn't going in and getting everything. I've only had one appointment so far with SEV and although I told them I've had laser hair removal previously, they still took the time to explain the process to me. My nurse was so gentle with me. She did a test spot and when I told her I was fine, she adjusted the level accordingly and did her thing. I felt super comfortable the entire time AND she got in every little crevice that the other person did not do. It's been less than 2 weeks and I am shedding more than I've ever shed at the other place that I went to. The "stubborn" areas were also shedding. I had 7 or 8 sessions with the other person and I literally did not see a difference with a certain area of my Brazilian. With the ONE session at SEV, I am shedding significantly more and I couldn't be happier. It is so pain free, which, and easy. I believe my nurse's name was Shannon. Kudos! I have been coming here now a few months and have gotten through my pit hair removal session, and can honestly say.... this place works! I am literally HAIR FREE.. they have a lot of payment options, so pick an area and work on that one being hair free. You also have an option or purchasing a Groupon, but that is only valid one location. My overall time of appointment experience is always fast and quick. I check in using a tablet, wait literally a couple of mins, get set-up in one of the rooms and from there you get all the warnings and the actual laser treatment begins. For my pits, I was literally in and out of there in a couple of mins. Lastly, the wait time to get an appointment is insane, you have to book out a couple of months in advance so I suggest book NOW for like 90 days from now. I come here because of convenience it's the closest laser facility to where I live my under arms worked out great unfortunately I am Brazilian not so great after and five sessions I hardly see any results and downside to this place is none of the nurses that you see will have a set schedule so you will see a different person every time. Some of the girls are not as thorough as the others which makes me feel like I'm not getting my moneys worth, if I were able to actually schedule with the girls to take their time and or makes me feel welcome to spend. I purchased a Groupon that had me saving sooooo much money for a six-session package on two (medium-sized) locations. I have to admit it was A STEAL and I am almost perfectly hairless in my desired locations. Laser therapy DOES WORK but you have to be mindful of your skin tone and hair follicles, as they do make a difference in the number of sessions it takes to reach hairlessness. Overall, the staff here is very professional. I never consistently met with the same nurse but I didn't mind at all because each one did a great job. My only complaint is that I was rarely taken in at my appointment time. There will definitely always be a wait, max 20 minutes? But the ladies at the front desk are hospitable and sometimes send you an automated text in advance if appointment times are running late. I wanted to set up touch-up appointments, but that's looking like $60 for 15 minutes. Sorry to say, there are other spas with the same machines that have it at a more reasonable price. This place is BUSY. The appointments are booked wayyyy far out. When I called to make my first appointment, I had to book nearly two months out. My appointment was 12pm on a Monday and I waited about 10-15 minutes to be seen after I checked in. The check-in process is very quick and easy, all done via an iPad. While I was waiting, there were about 10 new patients coming in and cycling through. Super busy! The wait was a little aggravating because I noticed that many of the girls that had arrived after me got called before me, but now from reading the reviews, perhaps this could be because I am a Groupon customer? I didn't mind too much, however, because I was still in and out within 30 minutes. The nurse I saw was very professional and mostly friendly. She was very much in a routine of getting clients in and out quickly, though. Almost felt a little abrupt, even. But, she was nice nonetheless. The laser itself was quite strong, but they have one that releases a burst of cold air following the laser, which eases a lot of the pain. In my opinion, the laser was much less painful than waxing. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for the price of the groupon. This location is clean and professional. Most high-end laser places have over-the-top prices, but this place has quality equipment for a much lower price on Groupon. Get your appointments booked ASAP! read more
