I made an appointment for my baby due to his chest congestion and allergies running havoc, I go in and they make me wait 2 hours in the waiting rm when they finally call me in and make me wait another hour in the next rm. A total of 3 hours waiting to be seen and still nothing. We skipped breakfast just to get ther early and now it was twenty after one and still no sight of a doctor! I kept seeing nurses and doctors going in and out of the clinic with gift bags and platters, so I'm thinking they are off partying in a conference rm, which I over heard one of the nurses say she was heading while my 3 kids are waiting on me to feed them brkfast a 1:30 pm! Needless to say I walked out fo the rm and asked for a refund and told them how ridiculous it was to have to wait 3 hrs to be seen and yet no sign of a doctor. Please if you have to choose a doctor, choose someone else!

Jason and Tina in particular are amazing, but I had no negative experiences with anyone working there. I will say, if you're there long enough for a meal, it's going to be a frozen dinner that they throw in a microwave. The upside is you have an exact calorie and carb count, if that matters (I'm on insulin, I have to dose based on carb intake - they let me self administer since I'm on an insulin pump). At one point they apparently would order from restaurants, but that probably cut into the CEOs hush fund too much (joking) Thr care is great. The food is terrible (I mean... It's a frozen dinner). The bill will max out your deductible (and likely your out of pocket even on a HDHP). But they truly do care, and they've stayed in touch to see how I'm doing. We had a devastating emergency yesterday, and went to Kyle ER after a horrible experience at AS. The receptionist, nurse, doctor, and specialists they brought in were amazing to work with, and helped me to feel comfortable in such a scary situation. I am beyond grateful for the help of Kyle ER yesterday and highly recommend them.

I am looking into the concierge option with them for the following reasons- If you get sick enough to be seen urgently in general you need labs or X-ray. In my prior practice in Northern Virginia we had a full lab and X-ray ability. We could get blood count , chemistry's and X-ray of chest all in an hour. We could even give IV meds like Lasix to treat heart failure - all while sitting in our renovated 150 year old office . (Winchester VA) Our overall treatment options were much less than is available today BUT as practices got larger and larger -and the rules for labs and X-ray became complex in many ways it's become difficult to provide easy care for patients that are uncomfortable but not sick enough to admit . Most family clinics are overbooked and even if you can get in - getting a quick chest X-ray , blood counts or even urinalysis can require a trip to a lab company or radiology group. This facility still has the benefits of one stop easy in and out to resolve some significant problems that are somewhat time sensitive. Can get a liter of fluid , an IV antibiotic and appropriate testing. It's also full service ER to stabilize you before admission. They can even admit you there for certain illnesses. In this case the diagnosis was made , treatment prescribed and follow up calls to our home were made by the physician and nurse. Once again great care from a physician owned facility. We are very fortunate to live in Austin as the health care here is truly world class (I can attest to cardiac care) -but this type of facility -a small hospital /ER/ family medical clinic with full complement of diagnostic services - is amazing. I partnered our practice (The Heart Hospital) with St David's and I am biased but on the physician, nurse , tech side - it's hard to find bad care .. no matter which health system you use. At times I have thought it is too expensive to live in Travis County but when I drive by this local facility and see the old VW ambulance and realize that especially as we age it's a great place to live I continue to highly recommend and support this facility. I was scheduled for surgery at 7:30 a.m. and was instructed to arrive at 5:30 a.m. My family and I understood that there could be some delays, but we were not prepared for the nearly eight-hour wait before my family was able to see me and before I was finally able to get a room. The extended wait was very difficult for both me and my family, particularly after arriving so early in the morning and undergoing surgery. The lack of information and the amount of time spent waiting made an already stressful experience even more difficult. I understand that unexpected delays can occur in a hospital setting, and I appreciate the work of the medical staff involved in my care. However, I believe better communication regarding the delay and more timely updates for both the patient and family would have made a significant difference. I hope the hospital will review what happened and consider ways to improve communication, patient flow, and the process for getting patients settled into their rooms after surgery. Patients and their families deserve to know what is happening and to receive reasonable updates when significant delays occur. Thank you for taking my concerns seriously. I hope this feedback can help improve the experience for future patients and their families.

She went to the ER at now Christa Santa Rosa on Friday and was diagnosed with COVID. They told her to come back the next day and told her and her husband to go home without any discussion of him being tested, quarantine, tracing, etc. She went back on Sunday and they told her that they would not treat her unless she was basically not breathing. I am beyond disbelief that any medical organization would act in this manner and I hope that the state of Texas comes down hard on them!

Not only that, they dismissed my major gallbladder stones that were blocking my bile ducts and made me feel like I was making it up. One of the doctors here put in my charts that I used drugs. Which I have never done in my life. I went on to my PCP who found my blockage and then to a better hospital to have to gallbladder removed. No thanks to this so called hospital. The doctors there in and outside do not care about the patients, only money. Someone needs to investigate this hospital. They should be shut done.
