Seth undertook a large project at our new house and did a fantastic job. I chose Seth because of his high quality work and he delivered! Our new electrical panel was installed flawlessly and the wiring throughout the house was organized, laid out, and installed with great attention to detail (and to-code). I contacted Seth on a Saturday about an electrical issue for my apartment building. He said his day was busy, but that he would squeeze me in, Just in case it was an easy fix (but if not, then he'd come back and fix the issue when his schedule freed up). He showed up 30 minutes after our call (he estimated he would arrive between 30 and 40 minutes when we spoke over the phone). He fixed the problem right away - gave me a very fair price and added some thoughts about other things that could be fixed (which could be repaired for free by SCE). Even though he was on another job, he made the time to come check out the problem that afternoon. Seth and Chris are Superstars! Not only did they fix the problem, they found and quickly corrected a couple of safety issues. They were very thorough and very careful as they checked all the outlets and wiring. We are located near downtown LA. One of our fusers popped because we were pulling too much electricity with the carpet cleaner. We are in a relatively new building, so we were trying to get an electrician to come out on a Saturday evening so that we did not stay without electricity for the rest of the weekend. We first contacted our home insurance policy and their contractors could not make it until Monday. We contacted about 5 electricians in LA and they either could not come on the weekend or do not service on the third floor (we are on the third/fourth floors of the building). I saw that Seth's Electrical Solution is in Long Beach, but my instinct was telling me to contact them to see if they could help me in any way. Seth very kindly answered the phone himself, as the calls go directly to his cellphone during the weekend (WOW!). Although he does not service LA, he offered to provide us support over the phone through photos and video calling. We eventually found the fuse box and with the support of Seth, we were able to pop the correct switch back into place and get the electricity back on. After contacting so many places, we are so grateful that Seth genuinely offered his support out of the kindness of his heart, simply because he wanted to help us. I offered to pay Seth for his support, but he refused any payment. We were so relieved and grateful to find an angel like Seth on a Saturday evening. During a weekend DYI electrical repair partial power outage occurred. Power was lost to garage and outside patio lighting system. Unfortunately our washer & dryer are located in my garage, so no laundry! Also my garage door motor was dead. I immediately started search for certified electrician. On a Saturday afternoon I began calling electrical companies, most of which I could only leave message. Seth from Electrical Solutions was the only one to return my call, on a Saturday, to discuss my issues. He was honest and kind enough to explain the cost for weekend emergency repairs and asked if we could wait until Monday at which point he would fit us in his schedule. On Monday Seth arrived, he explained the root cause of the problem and what was required to make repair. He noted that the breaker that was tied to my garage and outdoor lights was wrong amperage and suggested replacing breakers for electrical safety reasons. He also repaired and upgraded one of my outdoor outlets which was the actual cause of the shortage. Seth was extremely professional, he was thorugh with his repair explanations and fair with all pricing! Seth it a really good electrician and person! I have been struggling with an electrical problem for months. It has caused us to close our pool for the hottest months of the year! Sad family!! We were getting an electrical tingle at our pool light, and we were getting shocked at our drain pipe when we were backwashing our pool filter! Had other electricians and Edison out, but they couldn't find the problem. We were super frustrated! My wife had posted on next door that we were having this issue and wondered who could help. Seth happened to see the post and called us, as he said "it sounded like we were frustrated and he liked a challenge". He came out and I was impressed with how thorough he was with his troubleshooting. Ask the right questions and test every possibility. On the first day he ruled out our house as the problem and wanted to rule out the neighbors house as the problem. I didn't even think that was a possibility?! If we ruled out neighbors power we would have to go back to Edison as the likely culprit. We were able to get Seth back the next morning to work with neighbors electricians to troubleshoot their side. The other electricians were skeptical at first, but Seth was able to show them the problem and when we cut the neighbors house power the voltage went to zero! Normally I only write reviews when I'm upset about something, but I was so pleased with Seth's work that I had to write something. We recently had our roof re-done and thought it was the perfect opportunity to install a bathroom fan. Working against my wife's advice, I thought I could wire it up myself. I hope she doesn't read this, but I was wrong and she was right - I should have called a professional. This is where Seth came in - with a limited window of opportunity with the roof stripped off (we have a really low pitched roof), he was able to make it out on short notice and get the fan installed and wired up with ease. While he was in the attic, he showed and explained to me some unsafe issues I had with my existing electrical system from previous electricians (the people before me lazily installed some can lights throughout the house). In the process of wiring the fan he corrected and made safe the system he was tying into. He also found a different problem with my electrical system that started out as completely puzzling. He was able to investigate the problem, make a guess at the cause, and confirm it by locating the lone problematic wire (again, left by lazy electricians of the past). The fix for this was beyond what could be accomplished for the day, but I'll definitely be calling him to take care of it...
