PREPARE TO BE AMAZED!…read more Magicians are cool. They make you pick a card out of a deck and then they guess it. Yeah! But then there is Simon Winthrop because not only does he make you pick a card out of a deck, he asks you to pick your favorite vegetable and then he goes to Google and pulls up a video that shows him picking your card and your favorite vegetable. What? This is just insane. I really do not want to reveal too many of his tricks but I was stunned and shocked for a good part of the evening. I attended a private party hosted by GTech at the Hard Rock Hotel in the Real World Suite in Las Vegas. The party was fun but Simon added an element that I have never seen before. He made everyone believe in magic. I loved that he would amaze the crowd with his close up magic and then as everyone stood there with shock on there face, he would just walk away. It was such a strong move. He did not have to listen to the crowd say, "Simon how did you do that?" Instead, I had to listen to the group come up with ideas on how he did it. One person was so freaked out, after Simon was able to name a guy's mother, wife and kid...that he believes that Simon could stop time and freeze us and then go through your personal items. That theory seemed far fetched but it could explain some of the crazy things that I saw that night. I do think that Simon can read people. He never chose me to do a trick. He would always look at me and he would then choose someone else. I would like to think he had a hard time reading my Sicilian Poker Face. It was best that he not take a chance on me...I am a dark horse when it comes to this stuff. Plus in the beginning I was not a believer but the more tricks Simon did...the more I started to believe in Magic. I would highly recommend Simon for a corporate party because his tricks will amaze your guests or clients. It will set your party coolness level way past cool. In fact, I am trying to figure out how do I get Simon to Chicago for my wives up coming birthday party! Okay I can not resist I have to share one more trick...I am so sorry Simon but this one amazed our group. We were in a circle and Simon took my buddy Gary's wedding ring. He squeezed it in his hands and when he opened his hands the ring was gone. That was cool but when Simon pulled out a laser pointer to reveal that the ring was now tied on to a wall sconce located 5 feet behind me was totally freaky. What? How did he get past me to tie it up there? Why did it take Gary 3 minutes to get it untied from the sconce. Yes this was amazing and we still have no idea how he did it but that is the beauty of magic. It is all an illusion...as Doug Henning would say!

The venue is small and intimate. Where to sit for best viewing depends on what you do. If you opt for the upgrade to a Hooter's dinner between 6 and 7, you will be seated at one of the three VIP tables that are in the front of the low stage. Then comes four or five rows of regular chairs, and finally there are some high top tables behind those. If you do not get the meal, I recommend you take one of the hightop tables. I was in the second row, aisle, of normal chairs behind the VIP tables and there was one section of the show (the levitation) where I could not see what was happening because of the low level of the stage, the piano put more to the rear of the stage, and the heads in front of me at the VIP seats. Some of the time my seat was OK but many times it was not. As for the show, the two men are genial, sometimes funny, but not belly laugh funny, and they do some standard magic tricks. I guess since I've lived in Las Vegas for so many years and have seen so many magic shows, there's nothing new except a different twist on an old trick. I did like the Beethoven switch part. The show ended with Metamorphosis, which though not invented by Houdini, was made famous by him when Houdini did the trick with his wife. Once you know the secret of the trick, it's a matter of practice to get as fast as you can. The two men have obviously been practicing a lot because they pulled off Metamorphosis in a quick manner. There is some interplay between Jarrett and Raja over playing the piano (Raja) versus magic (Jarrett). There were a couple of times I wish I was able to listen to Raja more but it's like a comedy routine where the one keeps interrupting when the other one wants to do their thing. An A-OK show but not a show I'd see again.

This is such an awesome and fun, albeit kinda cheesy, show. It's very Vegas…read more My husband and I got tickets through House Seats. It's very entertaining, and the tricks are impressive. My husband got called up to assist, and received a magic wand as a prize - I was really amused by this. There is some audience participation involved. At times it can get a little awkward when the magicians' assistants are trying to engage the audience, which can be pretty funny. It's a small and intimate venue, and switches between magic acts and singing performances. Throughout the show, you learn about the performers' history and how they came to Vegas. When I read the show description, I was expecting more of an duel between magician and maestro. I do think there could have been more of an opportunity for Jarrett and Raja to continuously one-up each other and compete for the audience's attention, as opposed to taking turns to perform on the stage. I thought the joint performances were the strongest. While I didn't think the singing during the show was the greatest, I was still impressed she sang and didn't lip sync. All in all, it's a good time and I'd recommend this show if you want a very Vegas experience.

We had to buy one of the beautifully illustrated books he had available for sale because my niece is an avid book collector.

I collaborated with him for the better part of a year to plan the afterparty for our wedding, which we wanted to feel anything but traditional. From the moment we shared our vision, Brett not only embraced the challenge but elevated it -- helped us find the perfect venue, curated a cohesive theme, and also connected us with entertainment and even took up the decks himself. Throughout the process, Brett was remarkably consistent about communication and follow-up. As someone juggling a demanding work schedule, I can't overstate how much I valued his reliability and attention to detail -- he was always one step ahead, ensuring that every element stayed on track even when my focus drifted elsewhere. His team operates with the same high standards; their execution was flawless and, frankly, working with them ended up being the single most seamless part of our entire wedding weekend. Trusting Brett's vision and professionalism was easily one of the best decisions my wife and I made. He has that rare blend of creative instinct, logistical precision, and genuine kindness that turns an event from "great" into something unforgettable. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would -- truly an 11/10 experience in every way.

The two main players channel Elton John and Billy Joel. The third player does Little Richard, Ray Charles, and Stevie Wonder. The singing is so on point that you couldn't be faulted if you thought they were the real thing. The music was enhanced by an additional piano player, who opened the show. He was in the back and added texture to the playing of the three men. The Elton John character changes a lot like Elton would do at times and the man who did the Motown artists changed his clothes to imitate Charles, Little Richard, and Stevie Wonder. The dark glasses for the two blind singers became a but much for me. The songs they play are very memorable to my generation but I noticed the audience was of all ages. Attendance was not all that good when I was there Friday and the audience was invited to come down and take the seats closer to the front which some people did. The group is from New York City and there engagement here was always advertised as a limited one of approximately one month. The character playing Billy Joel said they needed word of mouth to help the show remain in Las Vegas. If the group relocates to another casino or gets an extension at the Flamingo, go and see it. You will enjoy the show!

Here is the bad news, but the show was soooooo good it still gets 5 stars: Caesars needs to get it together. The box office staff was nice but overwhelmed. This led to people trickling in through the first five songs. That was disruptive. The wait for drinks was excruciating. There was zero sense of urgency on the bartender's part. He moved at a snail's pace. You could just tell he didn't care. They should have had someone help out before the start of the show. This also disrupted the first portion of the show. The ushers were wonderful!! The performance was amazing. You should see this show!! We will be back!!!!
