Penn & Teller - Concession Stand

Penn & Teller

Hubby surprised me with a date night tickets to Penn and Tellers magic show and I was over joyed! I…read moream 39 and have lived in Vegas since I was 3 and have never seen their show....its honestly embarrassing. Have I seen them online and love them to pieces and feel ownership of them for being locals, ABSOLUTELY!!!! Vegas loves P&T!!! If you show up early to their shows you're able to enjoy Mike Jones on piano and Penn on bass!!! The music and enthusiasm behind it is wonderful! I will say audience participation is number one here. Some how, our show started with Penn sitting right next to my husband. I am a firm believer in enjoying the moment and not taking pictures and recording during experiences due to most experiences being available online, but, Penn showing up next to my husband was amazing and I wish we would have memorialized it a lil more!!!! I guess I will have to just rely on my memory The magic show and audience participation is worth every moment, my husband was right on the mark with date night I love being a quintessential local(3 years short of being born here), I know Penn and Teller remain true to Vegas and it warms my HEART they remain that way!!!

This is the first time I have seen this show in over 20 years. The showroom was the same but there…read morewas a little bit of decoration that was added. The seats were extremely comfortable. I really loved that there was preshow entertainment by a piano player and a bass player which was actually Penn from the show. I was amazed that the show had all new magic tricks except for one which was the fishbowl. They allowed people to come on stage and sign the envelope for a trick in the show. The staff was extremely friendly and I'm glad that I actually had the chance to see it again.

Amazing and fun show!! I highly recommend this show for anyone who loves great entertainment,…read moremagic, and card tricks. He is so fun to watch and he's pretty funny too. He has great showmanship and every second is entertaining watching him. All of his tricks were mind blowing and makes you wonder how he did it. The theater is really nice and you can get a great view from any angle. We were lucky enough to get the high top tables and awesome view. I do like how it is a smaller theater in order to see him close up. He does choose a good amount of people for his tricks and he's so funny interacting with them. Must see show!!

My husband and I made a last-minute decision to see a magician while we were in Vegas this past…read moreweekend, and Mat Franco's show quickly came up in my internet search. High reviews and a Groupon deal. It was a no-brainer. The seating at the venue felt similar to a comedy show. The seats in the back were behind high tables, and the seats in the front were arranged in several rows without anything in between. Just beware: if you purchase tickets on Groupon, you only select the section and can be placed all the way to the side, like we were. Nonetheless, Mat's show was so good that it was still enjoyable from a not-ideal angle. I don't want to spoil the magic, but I must say his show was so well-rounded. It had a variety of different tricks, and he puts a fresh spin on each one, so even if you think that's where the trick should end, Mat is always a couple of steps ahead. He also sprinkles comedy throughout, and a lot of it seems to be on the fly since it involves audience members. Mat even pulls on the heartstrings at times. I didn't even realize he had won America's Got Talent until some videos played from when he competed. I'm sure I watched him back then, but I'm glad I got to see him in person too! His show will not disappoint, and given that it was an hour and a half, I think the price we paid for the second row was well worth it. Also, after the show, I saw a guy offer money to get an autograph from Mat. So if that's what you're after, I think it's possible. No guarantees, of course.

Shin Lim: Limitless - Audience participation trick

This show was easily one of our highlights from our most recent trip to Vegas!…read more I've seen clips on his tricks on TV, but seeing his sleight of hand live is on a completely different level at the show at the Palazzo theater. Even sitting there knowing you should be able to catch something, you simply can't. Every trick left the audience looking at each other wondering how this was possible. What I appreciated most was that the show wasn't just about nonstop card tricks. There was a great mix of magic, humor, and audience participation, and storytelling that kept the pacing fresh from beginning to end. Whether you're a fan of magic of just looking for a unique Vegas show, I'd recommend Limitless without hesitation. I've seen several shows in Vegas over the years, and this one I'd happily see again because I'm convinced I'd have no idea how he does any of it.

The sleight of hand has a camera on the table or him so you can see it on the screen more easily, that means most seats are fine, no issues with visuals. They also have interactive parts with the audience, calculator math, card tricks, and bringing folks up onto the stage for interacting during the acts. The voiceover might bore some who are too young, though, it's not as flashy as some other magic shows. Wife combines cardistry with hoop acrobatics. Very cool story for those who follow, a pop in from the American Idol singer, and there's a meet & greet after for fans that pay for the VIP side. Located in the Venetian/Palazzo Theater.
