This golf course is great for what it is. It is convenient (right off rt 1) and extremely…read morereasonable, so I can't complain. I will continue to return here, as it gives me a decent golf course at a very reasonable price, and is convenient to my work and home. When you pull in, The golf course shares a parking lot with several other businesses, so the parking can be busy at times, but I have always found a spot to park in. The curb appeal is almost zero, and that may dissuade some people who like in aesthetically beautiful and quiet country club setting. If you can get past that, however, The course is actually pretty decent once you get out into it. The clubhouse is also nothing to brag about, and is pretty Spartan. There are no thrills, and it certainly doesn't beckon you to stay and relax for a while. I found the course itself to be well-maintained, relaxing, and very challenging. There are some wide open holes which allow you to really give it hell with your driver, but it is not just an open field with a few tea boxes... It's nestled into the woods, and it creates a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. I'm a 15 handicap golfer, and for me, it was pretty challenging. Overall, the course is a decent place to play, especially if you just want to get in a quick nine. I have played here four times, and it has never been over crowded or backed up... And that's a huge plus for me!

Mediocre at best. Norwood Country Club might serve a purpose for beginners or those just looking to…read moreswing a few clubs casually, but for the regular or seasoned golfer, this course leaves a lot to be desired. Tucked behind a string of car dealerships and chain restaurants off Route 1, its location feels more like an afterthought than a destination. The layout is unremarkable, and course conditions are consistently underwhelming--thin fairways, patchy greens, and little to no challenge in course design. It's clear the maintenance budget is modest at best. If you're just getting into the game or trying to squeeze in a quick round without much expectation, it'll do. But if you're looking for a quality golf experience or a facility worth frequenting, there are far better options nearby.
