    Back in December my MacBook failed to start after only two years of service. As a writer, and a…read morepoor one at that, I was stressing out. Luckily, I got in contact with 'I Love Technology' and he took the time to figure out what the issue was. After trying everything he could, he informed me that my hard drive was unrepairable but still took the time to walk me through, step by step, what hard drive I should purchase to fit my needs. He saved my important files on his own personal external hard drive (after taking the time to ask me) and installed the new hard drive with a few extra programs that I needed thrown in. Simply put, I Love Technology does a great job, is passionate about what he does, wants to help people out and charges more-than-fair prices. I'd recommend him to anyone with computer issues who wants the job done right. By the way, I'm typing this on my MacBook now. It's been running like a charm since I took it to him!

Alas, the tech gods at ILT brought it back to life. In less than a day, my computer was repaired, upgraded, and my documents backed up. They did a great job in communicating what the issues were (in lay terms), and what needed to be done to address them. The Genius Bar at the Apple store would have charged me several times the amount for the same service. I would gladly do business with them again, though I doubt I'll need it any time soon! We have both business and home networking in our home, and the biggest difference between them is the high-stakes panic if the business network suffers a glitch or an outage. Working with Josh and Sean, or in my case, watching Josh and Sean work is a Master Class in technical knowledge, attention to detail, and customer support. The first time we met, and I showed them "the closet" that housed all the modems, routers, and switches that fed the various locations around the house, Sean looked at the embarrassingly messy nest of cables, thought for all of 30 seconds, he pulled one of the cables from one ports on a switch and put it in a different port. Yellow lights turned Green, and he explained why. The rest of the first visit was a lot like that. So, these are the guys you want supporting your home or business, regardless of the size, whether in-person or remotely with their Managed Services. They're current on all the tech, all the protection systems keeping you and your business as safe from malware or attacks as possible, and don't forget the back-up systems, because it's just stupid these days to ignore the need for them. Their installations are clean, and make sense when you look at them. Finally, they're both Prime human beings. Personable, fair, compassionate, with and a pretty good sense of humor between them. You can't do better than them.

I most fortunately found through Yelp J&S Advanced IT. I had the pleasure of speaking to Sean Pope and explained my dilemma, and how critical it was to get my computer repaired or replaced. Both Sean & Jason went so far out of their way to accomodate me it was incredible. I had to literally look up the additional words to complement these incredibly talented and more so caring people. When dealing with various companies I rate them by poor good excellent, and at times using the phrase "THE BEST OF THE BEST". My computer that I use for my business decided to just not reboot one night when it was acting up. I was so distraught I had no idea where and what to do. This completely put me out of business. I most fortunately found through Yelp J&S Advanced IT. I had the pleasure of speaking to Sean Pope and explained my dilemma, and how critical it was to get my computer repaired or replaced. Both Sean & Jason went so far out of their way to accomodate me it was incredible. They even went as far as finding a new computer for me since the one I purchased to replace the one I had was defective, so to save precious time they found and purchased a much superior one from a retail store that they sold me at the same cost they paid. Their labor charge was more than reasonable and they have earned my business for life! They are incredible.     Just had Mendel and Steven work on adding lines to create a wired backhaul for my mesh network in…read morean old, difficult to work in home. They were completely awesome. The name is right on target: very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and skilled. Great at problem solving and working around issues with an older home with some, shall we say, strange construction choices. They ensured that everything was working perfectly before they started wrapping things up. Honest too. Got the work done faster than estimated, and Mendel was extremely transparent about charges and even reduced the bill accordingly. Made recommendations that would be quicker and save my family money, but shave hundreds off of his bill. I would enthusiastically recommend Friendly IT Pros to anyone that requires home or commercial networking support services. In short, flawless: no notes. These guys deserve your business.

    As part of a major kitchen renovation, the contractor accidentally sawed through and shredded the…read moreIT "nerve center" of our house, namely a conduit carrying a bundle of many Ethernet cables that carry hardwired data throughout the house and serve as a backhaul for our wireless access points. The contractor had no clue how to fix this and we were left without reliable internet. After reaching out to many services, Mendel was first to respond. He perfectly understood the issue and offered to come immediately, early AM on a weekend no less, and at a VERY reasonable hourly rate. When he showed up, it was clear why he named his service "Friendly" as he's the nicest person I have met. He immediately identified the issues, involved me in the process, and managed within an hour (not all day as I had worried) fix everything. You can see it in my photo below. This was a total disaster, but to him it was a walk in the park. Mendel had a huge vehicle full of every imaginable IT gear as well. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for residential OR business IT issues. He's incredible!
