When the waitress asked if everything was okay, I told her directly that the food was burnt. She smiled, said nothing, and walked away. No apology, no acknowledgment, no attempt to fix anything. From that point on, she essentially abandoned our table. She never cleared our appetizer plates, never checked back, and we had to chase her down just to get the check. When we told her again that everything was burnt, she acted surprised and gave us a sarcastic pouty face, even though I had already told her earlier. She said she would "talk to the lady," and when I asked who that was, she said it was the manager. A few minutes later she returned and told us -- word for word -- that "the lady doesn't care, my manager doesn't care." I have never in my life had a restaurant openly admit they don't care about serving burnt food or about their customers' experience. To make matters worse, when I checked the receipt afterward, we had been overcharged by $30. Between the burnt meals, the dismissive attitude, the lack of service, the bizarre unprofessional behavior, and a manager who apparently "doesn't care," this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in Houston. There are too many excellent Mediterranean restaurants in this city to waste time or money at a place that treats customers like this.

So we ordered something light after being there a little over an hour. The quesadilla was nothing short of amazing though. Packed with so much flavor full of meat and cheese. We asked for them to be grilled well to give it that extra crisp when biting into it! They were made to perfection. Now we did not know this was a BYOB and by the time we arrived at almost 12 am everything was closed. They are open until 3 am so even getting there late at night we were able to be seated quickly and chill (we did call ahead though). Our server actually got us these coolers (I think she got them from someone tbh lol because they did not serve alcohol of any sort) along with water bottles and light drinks. She was extremely helpful. The vibe in there is very chill and clean. The music choice was great as they had a mixture of afrobeats (my favorite), Spanish, and r&b playing.
