Their dehumidifier was set up incorrectly the first time, and when they replaced it, the water collection barrel was leaking onto the carpet and pad that was supposed to be drying. This added a couple of days to the job.They took the wet premium pad with them that I could have easily dried in the 100+ degree weather - I had to ask for it back which they delivered the next day. Instead of sawing the baseboard with a clean cut, they just broke it off, making it harder for me to fix afterward. They quoted me an estimate of $500-600 before the work started (this was a relatively small job), and I just got the bill for over $1200.

But when I hired them to do the remodel, the job went south very quickly. I am very unhappy with the work this company did. On day 1, they broke a pot that had a plant in it and didn't tell me. They hid the plant in a random bucket and I had to be the one to get them to replace the broken pot, which didn't happen until the last day of this 2 month ordeal. They used the toilet at my house, which was in my bedroom, and didn't flush. When I was home, a worker said some very inappropriate things to me like "cock and fuck" and "this insurance work is such easy money." Which made a job I already felt uneasy about, more unsettling. They left dings in the walls and spaces between the baseboards and flooring. The baseboards are not the same shiny white they used to be, they're dull and look dirty which makes me think they were only primed. There was sticky dirt left on almost every other panel of the new flooring that I have to use goo-gone to get off. They re-installed my toilet, stove and dishwasher side-ways and the sink in my guest room only dispenses hot water now. They used my couch that I had placed outside as their own personal work station. I came home to stacks of wood and tools on the couch. Some of this was fixed and taken care of but I had to ask over and over again. I am not a confrontational person but there were times where I had to fight with my project director for the sake of getting my house back to what is was. Overall I would not recommend this company and wish I would have used someone else.

The…read moreproducts are nice and the sales guy (David) acts nice when he wants to make a sale, but the quality of the installation is terrible, and they will refuse to do anything when your LVP starts cracking due to failure to do proper floor prep. Simas also fails to communicate properly with its installers. We had to explain everything to the installers about what we were doing. It wasn't a simple job and we expected Simas to have given the designs to the installers, for the ridiculous amount of money we paid.

Anthony then gave us a price, which seemed a little steep, but we needed the carpet done so we went ahead with the service. He put protective disposable booties that way as he cleaned the carpet, his shoes don't leave marks if they were dirty. After about a half an hour, Anthony was done. He let us know that it was ok to step on the carpet and if we do, it could be slippery. That was really good of him to let us know because my friend with me uses a cane and a wheelchair on occasion.
