I experienced a leak from my dishwasher that caused water damage to my cabinets and drywall. I contacted my insurance company on December 17, 2025, and it has definitely been a process since then. One of the trades advised me to be patient and to make sure I took my own photos, which I did--and that turned out to be very helpful. My main point of contact was Johnny. I understood there would be delays due to the holidays, so I remained patient throughout the process. There were a few issues along the way, but I documented everything and voiced my concerns. Johnny made sure those concerns were addressed and that I was taken care of. I truly appreciate Johnny for not turning a blind eye and for making sure the service was handled properly. I have taken time out to deal with life it's self, but now that I go back on the review site, I can't find any information from Management to discuss my problems, but they did manage to call me about payment and signing off on paperwork for them to get paid. DO. NOT. USE. This company!!!! My experience has been horrible. Our kitchen flooded and they never completed the work but wanted full payment. I have given them opportunity to resolve the situation but with no success. They ordered the wrong amount of replacement flooring for our basement and have left a floor unfinished. They ran out of product and said it was now my problem. Their installer was to put down the flooring but never showed up. The repair dept has been very unorganized, condescending and inexperienced. They DO Not care about your recovery from a flood they only want to get paid. The hardwood floors they replaced were NOT the same quality of wood they said would be installed. Then they installed the new floor on top of the rotted floor. This experience has been a complete nightmare Do not use this company. read more

She explained everything step by step and told me the do's and the dont's. Her personality was beaming and I loved our conversations. This has been the worst experience and service I have ever received dealing with this company. I was referred by my insurance provided to use Servpro. I checked out the reviews and they were great and decided to proceed. My upstairs bathroom had a plumbing leak that came through our living room ceiling . My initial walkthrough with Corey was November 20th 2022 he let me know to replace the drywall and flooring was gonna be a "2 day job at the most" his words. I took off the whole 2 nd week of Jan because that was the time that I was told it could be completed starting that Monday. The contractors didn't show until Thursday to start the work. It is now March 20th 2023 and the work is still not complete. I called Corey every few days and was given so excuse to what's happening to the point I don't even bother to call anymore I paid half upfront but at this point I would like to find someone else to finish the job. Had a leak in my home and insurance company recommended this vendor. There are two sides to this org, water mitigation and repair. The water mitigation side was phenomenal. They stayed in contact, had excellent service and was at my home daily. They actually gave me the confidence to continue with the repair side. Once I got to home repair I had the exact opposite experience. It took them forever to assign a project coordinator (Johnny) and when he was assigned I had to hunt him down routinely to get the project going. Home repair side had HORRIBLE service. They took twice as long as planned and lacked engagement. The only silver lining was they found a good subcontractor to do the work. Now I hear they don't want to pay the sub and there may be a lawsuit pending which could result in lien on my property. Shame on you Servpro!!! I cannot wait until this experience is over and I want all to know never to use this vendor. I've already advised my insurance company. read more

My toilet overflowed for several hours, flooding several rooms in my house and causing tens of thousands of dollars in damage. I called Servpro of Conyers and was told they would have a technician here within two hours. About 20 minutes later the technician, Josh, called me to tell me he would be here in 15 minutes. Josh was great and kept me updated before, during, and after the work was performed. They made dealing with the insurance company a breeze. Two more technicians Jo and Steven showed up later with more equipment and they did a fantastic job as well. Everyone was very polite and professional and they worked extremely hard to get the work done! I would definitely recommend these technicians and this company to anyone needing honest, and professional work!!! read more

tradgady struct lost my mom within 2 months my moms home cought fire. the insurance comp., recomened serve pro. miss teri came to the job. she eased my mind told me what all she was going to do. she really informed me on everything. she answered everyone of my questions. all the antiques and heirlooms that i thought were lost and gone forever, miss teri found them all. i would not only recomment serve pro of conyer/covington, but the only person that i feel that has the expertise that is up to the standards of any person i've ever seen at any company is miss teri. i've never seen a person work so dilengently on a job to preserve antiques with such care and concern for the customer in my life. i can't stop raving about miss teri to all my friends family and colleges. i will recommend her and serve pro to all of them. read more

Contacted ServPro Oct 11, 2020 for a water damage estimate after the insurance estimate didn't meet our deductible threshold. The ServPro rep missed two of the three first appointments; no call, email, or text; he just didn't show. When he finally showed up, the ServPro rep removed some panels in our bedroom and discovered mold. He said he'd "be in touch" and we'd hear from him in "a day or two" but he didn't come back and was non-responsive to any form of communication. He also left debris in the room that was supposed to be hauled away. When I called the Conyers/Covington, GA ServPro where he worked they didn't seem to know what the status of my project was. Speaking with a manager to express frustration and request a different rep didn't seem to help any. Was finally fed up by Nov 25. Frustrated by almost a month and a half of ServPro's incompetence, I called a competitor on Nov 28 (Sat), had the estimate by 30 Nov, and the local competition had an employee in my house doing the job Dec 01. I won't recommend ServPro to anyone for any reason. read more

We had a fire in October and my insurance company used servpro of Conyers/Covington Georgia. When they wrote the proposal they wrote 3 fans $650 and only used two, but told my insurance company they used them. They were to do my kitchen painting they were paid In early November but claim people had to leave for thanksgiving, two weeks before Christmas I called Servpro still no painters, they sent painters December 16 and the smoke damage in my kitchen was still apparent from October 2019. They are slow, they are incompetent, and I will never tell anyone to use them. They did not tell the truth they kept making excuses and I will let you know its is January 2020 and my kitchen fire claim is still not complete from Servpro. We had just about the worst situation possible in our basement, yep sewage backup. We started with our insurance company, USAA who facilitated the initial call with Servpro. Within the exact timeframe that both had said, Terrence from the Conyers branch contacted us and said he'd be out at certain time and was! From the moment he stepped into our house we knew we were going to be ok. Terrence thoughtfully went through our situation and without judgement or hesitation started to explain how he and Servpro were going to handle this. He expertly explained what he had to do and what the next few days would be, putting our minds at ease. Although there was a mechanical malfunction of some equipment, which Terrence handled and another Servpro rep assisted, it was seem less and didn't cause a delay in our service. Couldn't ask for anything more. We are so impressed with this company, but more specifically Terrence for handling an unimaginable mess with such class and efficiency. We hope to never have to use them for this type of service again, but would welcome them back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend them, and Terrence. read more

Not a good experience. We were overcharged about $2000.00 for services not rendered and the people they sent out did not appear to know a lot about what to do. They cut the water back on twice and reflooded the area! We finally had to take out the hot water heaters to stop them.They left equipment behind and I had to contact their office to come pick it up. They busted a door and finally agreed to pay for it after I had to contact them several times. They also were to spray a anti-microbial agent and I do not believe they did. We now have mold and when they came out to check it out they say we have a leak in our wall that is causing the mold! They never went under the house to check it out! Of course it is not their fault and say they are not liable! It has only been 5 mos. since the event and we have been in a drought. Thank goodness for the dry weather or there would probably be more mold. I have owned this property for 37 years and never had a problem with mold. Please do not use this company! read more
