In my case, the work was left incomplete and caused additional problems in the home, including unfinished areas, damage that was not repaired, and issues with electrical work that did not pass inspection multiple times. Items returned to me were damaged, and several parts of the home were left unsecured or unfinished. I also had difficulty reaching the contractor afterward, which made the situation even more stressful. Based on my personal experience, I would advise others to proceed with caution."

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Here's a list of things showing how terrible they are:…read more1. Spilled soot all over my house, including staining a $300 rug, then had to use our personal vacuum because they didn't have one! 2. Completely smashed an expensive landscape light and two shrubs where they apparently placed the ladder then stepped all over the landscaping. 3. Smeared soot all over the newly-painted white exterior of our house. 4. Asked for the check to be written to one of them personally rather than the company. 5. Smeared sooty handprints all over our foyer and front door. 6. Worst of all...apparently broke their tool inside our chimney THEN LEFT IT IN THERE. See my photo. We lit our first fire and couldn't figure out why the house was filling with smoke and plastic was dripping into the fire. Ridiculously dangerous.

Our entire HVAC system needed to be replaced and we were having a hard time finding a reliable,…read morehonest, reasonably-priced company to come out and fix it. We saw the billboard on 316 for Snellville Heating and Air and decided to give it a go. Joe came by about thirty minutes after the initial phone call, and you could tell right away this was a man who knew what he was doing. He checked everything out and then, the first company to do so, sat down with us to go over everything in detail. He quoted us the best price we'd received and didn't once try to upsell us. He showed us all the certifications that their workers have which put our mind at ease. A week later (and only that long because we weren't home the other days) we had an entirely new HVAC system installed by two hardworking guys. I will say the monthly financing price we got was not ideal for us. I'm not naive, but the whole reason we called in the first place was the monthly financing offer of $50 on the billboard. So that was a bit disappointing, but the overall cost was the lowest quote we'd received so we went with it. Plus, we have ten year warranty on the new system, and a year's servicing. Not to mention the security of knowing we have an honest company working this for us. We really appreciated the service we received after almost two months of a broken HVAC system and companies trying to scam us. I recommend Snellville Heating and Air to anyone looking.

This company was recently bought by Air Georgia. We have two separate systems, one which provides…read moreair conditioning/heat in the main area of the house which is a gas furnace/air conditioner and a heat pump which provides air conditioning/heat to the top floor and a room adjacent to the house. One week in August, the two rooms controlled by the heat pump, began to read in the high 80's. We notified Snellville Heating, Air & Plumbing as we had a maintenance contract with them. They responded promptly and told us something may have been jarred in the air handler zone control board. They only charged us the service fee of $79.95. When they were here the rooms became cooler, however, within hours the rooms returned to temperatures in the mid-eighties and we had to have them back that same day. They then told us refrigerant was needed and they added 1 1/2 pounds of refrigerant for a cost of $150. The next day the temperature in these two rooms again returned to the mid-eighties. Snellville Heating, Air and Plumbing returned that day and said they replaced an electric shut-off switch in the condenser and there was no charge. We thought the problem was fixed but the temperature rose to the mid-eighties the next day. Snellville Heating, Air and Plumbing returned that same day and then said the Condenser Computer Board was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced at a cost of $495. The part was unavailable until the next day at which time they replaced the Board. However, within 2 days, the temperatures again rose to the mid-eighties. A fifth visit was made and this technician told us the problem was a leaky heat pump in the condenser coil and said this needed to be replaced with just a part or a new system was recommended since our current system was ten years old. They quoted at a cost of over $13,000 for a new system. At this time they gave us complimentary refrigerant to keep the room cool while we made a final decision to replace the part or the whole system. We lost all confidence in Snellville's competence in diagnosing our HVAC issues as it took 5 TECHNICIANS coming out multiple days in a row before the correct assessment of the problem was made. We asked management for a cancellation and reimbursement for our second maintenance visit, which the did. However, they refused to reimburse us for the $495 fee for the Condenser Computer Board stating we approved the work to be done. REALLY!!! My response was that as 70+ year olds we TRUSTED the technician that was the issue but in reality we had a LEAK, only identified on the 5TH VISIT and we were due a reimbursement which they REPEATEDLY DENIED. We are not HVAC knowledgeable but in retrospect, shouldn't the need for refrigerant added on the second visit be a "sign" there might have been a leak? They said they were offering a 10% discount on a new system and an upgrade to a higher grade system at no additional charge and that was their compensation. My response was we had lost ALL CONFIDENCE with them and would NOT be using them for a new system. If it took 5 VISITS BEFORE the proper diagnosis was made how could we TRUST them to properly install a new system and maintain it. Additionally, that $495 Condenser Board was of no use to us since we bought a new system from another HVAC company who did CONFIRM on their initial visit there was a leak. This has been a most regrettable situation which has caused us much angst as senior citizens. As a side note, we were told the owner was aware of our dilemma but he never personally called us which we expected given our level of concern.

Attention first-time homebuyers:…read more Almost exactly one year after purchasing our home, my family found ourselves in a situation we never expected: our home flooded. And not just a small flood. Water impacted almost the entire first floor of our home, and it happened while half of our family was out of town. We had never experienced anything like it and it was incredibly overwhelming. Thankfully, we were connected with TJ and his team at Dry Pros almost immediately. We initially connected with Dry Pros for water mitigation after the flood but TJ and his team became a resource to us throughout the entire restoration and rebuilding process. They helped us understand complicated parts of the insurance process, kept us informed on immediate developments, respected and implemented our input, and really helped us navigate everything from water removal and mold testing to the rebuilding and restoration of our home. Having TJ as both a resource and an advocate made a huge difference. The quality of the work was excellent but what stood out just as much was the customer service, clear communication, and genuine helpfulness during such a stressful situation. Even after the work was completed, TJ continues to be a resource for our family. We highly recommend Dry Pros for the quality of their workmanship and level of care they provide.

First off I would like to say they did have a prompt response and was here the day after the storm…read moredamage occurred to do an assessment of the damage. They placed a tarp on our roof covering the hole from the broken skylight. Then after they left the claims adjuster from our insurance contacted us to confirm their findings and came by to do his assessment and compare pictures. A week from the time WinWin came out they sent a crew to cut out the drywall that was affected removing it from our bathroom ceiling, bathroom interior by sink, exterior to hallway (we have a hole and can see in bathroom ),part of ceiling in garage, removing our toilet and placing it in the shower. They then put several fans and two dehumidifiers one in the bathroom and one in the garage below the hole that they covered in plastic. Took several more pictures and left, didnt say how long to keep the fans running or when they would return. After a few sleepless nights with a constant loud humming of several construction type fans running and not hearing from them about when they would come out or what happens next we reached out to our contact at Win Win. Still no real response or communication about whats next. The dehumidifier in the garage stopped working after about 3 days and still no one knew anything. After repeated calls to Win Win, our adjuster and our insurance agent (American Family Insurance) a different guy from Win Win finally stopped by to pick up the fans and he again took pictures. We still have a hole in our roof from the skylight, drywall has not been replaced, our toilet is still in the shower, we still have a hole in our garage, and still no answers. Today marks 3 weeks from the first contact 2 weeks from the time everything was torn apart and we still have no answers just a lot of round and round bs. So Monday we will be reaching back out to adjuster and American Family insurance as well as Win Win to see if the know when the repairs in the bathroom will start. Will update review once this frustrating, unprofessional ordeal is finally over.
