He evaluated my unit and determined it was bad. But, he contacted the company and helped convince them to replace it under warranty. Since I bought the house 5 years ago and wasn't the original buyer I didn't think it would work, but it did! Next was the labor cost. He was knowledgeable and quick. The cost was very fair. He explained to me how a tankless system worked and how I needed to maintain it. What a fantastic experience.

Finally had husband take a look tge weight was kinked and banging into pipes. Knocked the drain off and flooded under my sink 2 days before Christmas eve. I tried contacting Cameo counteryop since they scheduled them no answer finally decided to call our plumber who fixed it! K and S refused to pay the $100 for the other plumber to fix! Said they would well why would I want the same person back who screwed it up the first time? ZERO customer service!! All they did was blame Culligan I was here when they hooked up my r.o. ran lots of water thru the lines NO leak. Turned out wherevit attaches to the drain had never been tightened with a wrench and I know he did NOT use it I watched him the entire time. So heads up unless u want them multiple times coming out to fix something their plumber should have done in the first place ( seems like tightening is basic for a licensed plumber) i would suggest going somewhere else!

If you're like me, your spring cleaning list just keeps growing. One of the items I had been…read moreputting off was air duct cleaning. Unpopular, unsightly, and rather boring, it's a job that had to be done nonetheless. Jim from Duct Works did a great job on my air ducts in my rental home, making the entire process stress free. My initial call to Jim was just for a quote and to answer a few questions and although I called a few more places for quotes, it's Jim's honesty and straight-forwardness that made me want to use him for the job. He's the owner/operator of DuctWorks and I liked knowing that the person I was talking with on the phone would be the person who would show up for the job. Lucky for me, Jim had an opening the following day and we were able to knock the job out before the weekend. Although I wasn't present for the actual cleaning, my tenant said that Jim was friendly and did the job efficiently and quickly. I followed up with a phone call to Jim to see if there was any issues and thankfully there weren't any (whew! No dead animals in the ducts. Always a relief) A few things I learned from calling around about duct cleaning is that some of the national chains won't do an older home where they suspect or are unsure of asepsis around the ducts. DuctWorks took every precaution in working with my older home that the other, larger chains passed on. Also, DuctWorks uses a truck instead of the handheld vacs ensuring that the dust and particles are removed safely and quickly without re-emitting anything into the air. The prices are reasonable for duct work cleaning and given that it was a long time coming for my house, it was well worth it. I've already recommended him to home owners for their home maintenance.

The only peeve was that though he completed the work within 30 minutes, i still got charged for an additional 15 minutes since he was in his vehicle writing up the invoice so had to pay additional $23 for the 15 minutes. The billing rate can add up quickly and expensively but the job got done properly.

West End managed to fit us in the next day, and the tech they sent out was probably the friendliest worker we've ever had in our house. The price was right for the speed and quality of his work, and was very straightforward in how it was broken down (basically a flat $99 service call fee + parts/labor) with no hidden fees or adjustments made after-the-fact. We'll definitely be calling West End for any appliance issues in the future!
