Here is an example of it; after I wrote my review here is how (text messages) he approached me. Attacking a customers character is never good First off I have to say the work and speed that their crew delivered was great. We love everything that they did for us. We had a number of requests for them to: 1. Build a deck near our pool with cover 2. Replace our fencing to hide the pool equipment 3. New fence towards the back of our property In the photos you can see how great it turned out. Now where they lost their stars is in communication and dealing with conflicts. 1st issue - We had a dumpster provided that they subcontracted and had a number of issues. James gave my husband the phone number to contact dumpster company and "deal with the issue". As a customer all issues pertaining to a subcontractor that THEY hired should have been handled by them and not us. 2nd issue - some of the fence posts they installed warped and we asked for them to come repair. We had to text and call about 10 times! We were given dates that someone would show up and then no one showed up and no communication about 5 times. Continuous calling and text had to occur with the same result. Then random out of the blue one day someone showed up to fix the fence and once again no communication to inform us they were coming nor after to check how the repair went. This process was extremely frustrating and clear that dealing with conflicts isn't their forte.

The owner, Daniel Hemler, had the nerve to argue with me about the job I hired him to do every time I asked why he was not doing things up to manufacture recommendations or industry standards, I am a paying customer and asked for a job to be done a certain way it should be done how I ask and I should not have to argue with the person I hired; I even pointed at my neighbors fence and told him I wanted it just like that but my fence is approximately 6 inches lower than the neighbors... He did not show up most days to start working until after 3pm and when it gets dark at 6pm that only gives about 2 hours of decent sunlight to work which is not enough time to get anything accomplished correctly. I could go on and on about the horrible job this company did but I would much rather let Karma handle people who do shady business... Trust your gut & find an actual professional!!!! Everyone I have had out to quote me a price to fix all the things this company screwded up shakes their head at the unprofessional and embarrassing work that was done on my fence.

I had new wood shelves install, painting pantry, ceilings, & bathrooms. He no problem to install new electrical fixtures including new tech fan and vanity lights. I will hire him again to do more work around house when I'm ready. My indoor updates amounted to about 7-8.5k including materials. Very reliable Contractor.

We hired JR to assist us with a 50K dollar deck project. With a project this complex, its not…read moreuncommon to have a thing or two change. When one hires a contractor, its not just enough to provide a good service, its also the experience in dealing with the vendor and working thru any changes. Ours was simple, the price included a skirt around the deck and we received a approval from the HOA one week after they completed the deck. He gave us a 488 dollar credit at the time the check was due but when we asked him to complete the skirt, his price rose to 2100 dollars and told us to take it or leave it.. so what could have been a great experience is now soured. We offered him an additional 500 dollars to compensate him for the return trip but crickets. So, learn from this.. If you are not totally finished with the vendor, keep enough money held back so he has a desire to return to complete the work.

I called JR and ask if his crew could re-level the deck and bill me as needed since it had been more than a couple years from construction. JR insisted that his decks stand the test of time.
