Do *NOT!* do business with this company…read more After very clearly, explicitly requesting a $500 collateral loan against my vehicle title & stating that I wanted absolutely nothing at all to do with any 'Payday loan' style BS or nonsense, I was told that the total loan cost would be around $678 once all four payments were made. I was not told that the final payment would be $500+ dollars. Despite the misleading name (Texas Car Title & Payday Loans), they do neither. They loan nothing. They charge extremely extravagant, absurd fees to provide a loan through a 3rd party lender. (Credit Access Business) *This was never stated during the loan process* Having done more research on this company, it's been discovered that they've been sued in federal court numerous times. They dinged me with a $5 fee for the ATM card, which was not disclosed to me until I saw it on my statement. Tried to link the account to PayPal but was unsuccessful. Tried to link the account to my brokerage house, which sent a couple of small deposits for verification, you know the drill. The problem is that these small deposits were not shown on the Arrowhead online portal, so I could not proceed with the verification process, so no successful link. It turns out the deposits were made, but I didn't learn about this until I got my paper statement, by which time the verification process had timed out. All of this happened over 15 months or so. Several times Arrowhead threatened to suspend my online access if I did not log in by such-and-such date. Once they declared the account itself dormant without warning. I had to send them a written request to re-open the account. The only transaction I ever completed successfully was the account closure, the one-and-only time I ever used my $5 ATM card.
