After calling to make sure they're open and still making keys I drove there to hit a major pothole pulling in there lot, just to be told they don't make keys unless you have an account with them. I recently opened up a bar down the street and me and my family I've been going there for years told me they were unwilling to make the account only unless they're installing a door commercially. Kd realtor I am a business owner I own several properties in Springfield Massachusetts have used them in the past was good service I've been in business for 15 years serve you was bought out by another company unfortunately the service has went downhill I requested them to come out to one of my properties I called to find out when they were going to come and they reported to me that they wouldn't make it out today the only reason I knew this was because I had reached out to them I told them as a business they should have reached out to me if they weren't able to make the appointment for the day they agreed on. This is one of the reasons I will never use them again. Second reason they came the next day ask for courtesy call before they get there so I could have my property manager be on site. By far the best and most excellent customer service representative and technician as well I asked for it to be done. He gave me a completely reasonable price. WE told them the info gave them our phone number and they did not call for 5 days. We called to see what was happening and thats when the quoted us a higher price and need to do more reprogramming. I called prior to my visit here and was told they could cut my 98 Volvo key after having many places turning me down the guy on the phone assures me they can goes on n on about how you need a particular $35000 machine to cut it which most locksmiths don't have but we do come on down he goes , so about a week later..... I get there I'm 50 miles away so took a bit of planning I get there only to have some other goonish-looking guy tell me they only cut brass keys, not steel. and all this head-scratching about it and they didn't know if they had a key there? What a brass one! lol after handing me back an original Volvo blank, I ask another guy standing there as he's hearing it all unfold to hand me the key and tells me to go somewhere else probably the most honest answer and response but he was a jerk and woulda been helpful and saved me a trip. I did go somewhere else to a small tiny place in Worcester Alans Key who had no problem cutting one for me and it was $25, not $35 for a brass key they don't have they were pretty rude and wasted my time, maybe the owners should spend about 35 grand and patch the hole in the ceiling in the lobby the smell of mold throughout the place made me sick maybe this is why they are so rude and unhelpful? read more

Went for replacement of lost fob Mazda 2016 Sport 3. Mind you lost my only fob key they were aware. After waiting a week for key to be shipped to store. I bought a used car with only one key and needed to have another key made up. I shopped around and Serv-U had the best price around. I read reviews that steered me away but other places were quoting such high prices. I called and talked to a representative who said they stand behind what they sell so I took a chance and am glad I did. They ordered the key using the VIN and it took about a week for the key to arrive. They called to let me know and I scheduled an appointment to have it programmed. It took about 15 minutes. I needed a duplicate car key with a chip made for each of my vehicles. I called twice, once to see if they could do what I needed and what it would cost; the second time to make an appointment and ensure they had in stock the appropriate blanks. I was assured I could just walk in and that I would need my vehicle with the key. This morning I realized my remote starter wasn't working, figured it probably needed a battery. I went over to Serv-U because it was convenient, thought I might save some time and money instead of heading to the dealer. The Serv-U employee popped the back off of the key fob, put a new battery in, had a problem putting the thing back together but finally did. He said he didn't see the light come on or flash when he pressed the button so something might be wrong with the fob itself. We went outside, he tried it, it did NOT work. He suggested I go to a business that sold/installed remote starters. We went back inside. I was under the impression that he would take the battery back....I mean who knows, it could have been a defective battery? In my opinion, the new battery didn't work, the problem was not solved. If I were in his position I would have removed the new battery, handed back the old battery and the key fob and said, "sorry I couldn't help you", along with not charging for something that didn't work. But no...he charged me for the battery, $5.+ tax. That was very disappointing. I didn't make a big deal of it because there were a lot of people waiting in line for keys to be cut but I will not go back there for anything and I would not suggest anyone else going there with problems with a key fob. Sometimes, trying to save a little money, isn't worth it, the car dealership I'm sure would have handled it much better. When I got home I called the number on the back of the key fob, which I probably should have done in the first place. I was told that when a battery is replaced in a key fob, sometimes, depending on the make/fob, it has to be reprogrammed in order to work. I did not know that when I went to Serv-U...........AND OBVIOUSLY THE PERSON WHO WORKS THERE, THE PERSON WHO REPLACED THE BATTERY IN THE KEY FOB, DIDN'T KNOW THAT EITHER!!!!!!!!! Tried to get 2 keys cut and programmed. After being told 3 times how much programming and cutting is (which I knew from a phone call I had made prior to going), I was then told they dint have time to do it. I was there at 5:30 and their hours are until 6:00, however their clain was that with the rush of a crowd and short staff they couldn't do it. There was absolute no one else in the store and the programmer was standing right there saying he was leaving in 3 minutes. Apparently no one there works until close. Tried to keep my business local but apparently its not wanted or needed enough to stay until close.
