A new roof isn't something purchased frequently so we wanted quality product installed correctly…read more Reno Simplicity Roofing was the answer! Quality product, excellent customer service, professional workmanship provided by an amazingly quick, super clean roofing team(extra BONUS, no roof fragments or nails laying around) Wednesday evening my quest started, first searching through Better Business Bureau ratings, then comparing consumer reviews. I then emailed several roofing companies for a complimentary inspection. Thursday morning Matt Dempsey, with Reno Simplicity Roofing, reached out to me. He promptly scheduled a roof inspection for that upcoming Saturday. Upon inspection he found wind damage, he was confident that our Home Owners Insurance would agree regarding damage. He was happy to deal directly with our Insurance company, no easy task during this pandemic era. As promised Matt followed through, the next thing I knew We had our brand new Certainteed roof Installed!! All of this and we only paid insurance deductible!! Matt made this whole process quick and easy (no small task in middle of a pandemic). After our new roof was installed we had additional(unforseen) work done on our home, it involved a patch on our brand new roof. I contacted Matt, he explained we had received one of the last lots of roofing materials from Certainteed, the production of materials had been almost completely halted due to Covid Pandemic. However Matt promised he would search around for supplies.....what a relief when he called with good news, he was able to find the additional materials we needed! This was like the icing on the cake! After completion of additional work I asked how much we owed for labor and materials, I was stunned when he said it was covered under our Deductible! Reno Simplicity is definitely tops on our list of quality roofers!! They definitely went above and beyond our expectations!!!! Thank you, Matt Dempsey, for being dependable and for providing excellent service with extreme friendliness!(very refreshing during these crazy times!) It was certainly a pleasure dealing with Reno Simplicity and Matt Dempsey!!Lori C

Unfortunately, the roof was 3/4th of the way done before I noticed the color shingle wasn't what I had ordered. Although the manufacturer had sent the wrong item, Artisan immediately took full responsibility and asked me how they could make this right. They offered to redo my roof with the right color, however we settled on a discount from the work done. I feel their entire communication and work with me to resolve this was 100% excellent. As a matter of fact, I am so confident in their company I have scheduled them to also install new gutters (using the discount from the roof!) Their price and initial bid was LESS THAN an individual who had also been recommended by a neighbor whom I would have expected to be less than this professional company. They sent me a detailed, itemized list of exactly what they would do and exactly what I needed to do to prepare. From start to finish, this was a great experience, in spite of the hiccup. My new roof looks great and I'm getting used to the color!

Deceptive Business Practices by A&M Premier Roofing. Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act…read more(UDTPA)... In North Carolina, deceptive business practices are addressed under the Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act (UDTPA). This act prohibits unfair methods of competition and deceptive acts or practices in commerce. It covers a wide range of practices, including false advertising, fraudulent misrepresentation, and bait-and-switch tactics. Violations can lead to financial penalties and civil lawsuits. The law applies to all business activities, but certain professions and situations may be exempt (some general info for the following post). Specifically, fraudulent misrepresentation is my experience with A&M Premier Roofing. In a nutshell we signed a contract which included a set amount for the replacement and a clause that covered insurance claims paid by our carrier relative to the work being completed by A&M. Which originally was a bit over $10K (including our deductible) and we gladly paid it, we needed a new roof. Unknown to me A&M went back to our carrier and a submitted another claim. I was unaware of this until I received a call from our carrier in December about a denial for a secondary claim made. The claim was based on city of Raliegh code and we did not live in the city limits of Raleigh. I thanked our carrier for the call and didn't think anything of it because we paid A&M everything as stated in the signed agreement. Roughly a month or so after that I received a "2nd Payment is Due" email (from A&M Premier Roofing) for an additional $1445 in an invoice that I had never seen until then. I pushed back on A&M for a couple of months because this was not agreed upon prior to the work starting nor was I aware of the additional charge. Eventually we paid the bill because it would have cost us more to retain an attorney and sue to avoid the fraudulent misrepresentation or a potential personal credit hit. However, I have four years to consider filing a civil lawsuit and contacting the Wake County Attorney General due to the statute of limitations in NC. Part of me just wants chalk it up to not doing my due diligence before hiring them and move on, but another part of me is tired of getting taken advantage of. Hopefully if you are reading this, you'll do a better job of screening a potential roofer than I did. I cannot in good faith recommend them and if I could go back in time, I would not have chosen them (there are so many others out there).

Trae was able to schedule our roof with only a few weeks notice, he personally delivered shingle samples to our house for convenience, and his service was everything his proposed it would be. Trae took the time to talk me through the price, the whole process and their business philosophy.
