After getting several quotes, we decided to go with Artisan for a roof replacement on our 1200 sq ft rental house in Cary. Their level of communication throughout the entire process was spectacular !! Olivia was a rockstar. When replacement day arrived, we were sent pictures of all the steps on the roof replacement. Was not expecting that but it was greatly appreciated since we don't live nearby. The entire roof (shingles and a LOT of underlying wood) was finished by lunch time !!! They are a locally owned small business. Give them a try. You will be glad you did ! read more

Communication was clear and consistent every step of the way. The crew showed up early as expected and began working quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, the roof was 3/4th of the way done before I noticed the color shingle wasn't what I had ordered. Although the manufacturer had sent the wrong item, Artisan immediately took full responsibility and asked me how they could make this right. They offered to redo my roof with the right color, however we settled on a discount from the work done. I feel their entire communication and work with me to resolve this was 100% excellent. As a matter of fact, I am so confident in their company I have scheduled them to also install new gutters (using the discount from the roof!) Their price and initial bid was LESS THAN an individual who had also been recommended by a neighbor whom I would have expected to be less than this professional company. They sent me a detailed, itemized list of exactly what they would do and exactly what I needed to do to prepare. From start to finish, this was a great experience, in spite of the hiccup. My new roof looks great and I'm getting used to the color! read more

I want to give the highest recommendation to Artisan Quality Roofing and especially Brian Anderson. If you live in the Triangle area (Cary / West Cary / Apex), this is truly the roofing company you can trust. I had filed two roof claims before, both denied by State Farm. My neighbors had their roofs approved, but mine wasn't--so I knew something wasn't right. When my roof started leaking in early August, I finally contacted Artisan, and that was the best decision I made. 1. Brian's inspection is incredibly professional Brian came to my house right away. He walked through the interior with me, then carefully inspected the entire roof outside. He took clear, detailed photos and organized them so I could understand exactly what was happening. Those photos were key evidence for my State Farm claim. I had contacted four roofing companies before--none of them came close to the level of detail Brian provided. 2. Brian joined the insurance meeting and helped me WIN approval When State Farm sent their adjuster, Brian came immediately--even though they arrived early. He waited patiently for the third-party inspector (who was late), and then walked them through every problem area. He clearly explained the hail damage, the leaks, and exactly why it needed approval. Honestly, State Farm is famous for being strict, but with Brian's help, I finally got approved for a full roof replacement. I was so relieved and grateful. 3. He also helped me get approval for interior repairs There were water stains inside my house caused by the roof leak. I didn't even know I could include this in the claim, but Brian talked to the adjuster directly and helped me get additional coverage for the interior repairs as well. This is the kind of detail and professionalism you rarely see. 4. The installation team was also excellent Once approved, the Artisan team finished the entire roof in one day. Fast, clean, and high quality. They also found a few issues (like an old dryer vent), took pictures, and sent me updates during the day so I always knew what was happening. Every step felt responsible and transparent. 5. Great communication, great local company From emails about payment, to warranty details, to color selection--they were always clear, quick, and helpful. It feels good to work with a local, trustworthy, professional company. I truly recommend them 100% I am a West Cary homeowner, and after comparing at least four different roofing companies, I can confidently say: Brian Anderson and Artisan Quality Roofing are the BEST. They are professional, honest, extremely knowledgeable, and they genuinely help homeowners get what they deserve. I am more than happy to share my experience so other residents in Cary/Apex can benefit from their great service. 100% recommend. They are the best. read more

Very professional, did a great job including solar skylight windows. They will only contract to do top job and use only to grade material. They used their own employees who are well trained and work well together. We did not have a single issue with the roof. Highly recommended read more

These AHOLES were 3 doors down at 6:00 AM this morning doing prep work, and on the roof hammering at 6:30, even though the HOA forbids construction until 7:00 in this neighborhood. It is now 1:00 PM and they are finished and gone. NO DAMN REASON for them to have started that early. It's not like it was going to get hot this afternoon. One of the most inconsiderate and unprofessional "businesses" that I have ever had to deal with. Read about the "frustration economy". read more

From the initial estimate to the beginning of the work Artisan performed in a truly expert and professional manner. They kept me informed with precision every step of the way. During the work my precious courtyard was covered and cleaned up with great care. The work was completed as planned and my new roof is so attractive it could be shown in an Architectural Magazine. I highly recommend Artisan for anybody in need of a new roof. read more

Artisan provided quality professional service from beginning to end. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and the crew did a great job. They were competitive priced and very thorough. I never thought I would say this, but my roof looks great. I highly recommend this company. read more

Great job overall! On only 4 days' notice, they came and worked with my plumber to properly seal a vent on my roof the same day that my hot water heater was removed from my attic. No cost overages. no upsell, and they beat the price of another roofer I consulted. They even reached out to the plumber in advance of the job to coordinate. Highly recommend. read more

My roof was old and had been repaired several times. My neighbor who had a great looking roof recommended Artisan so I included them in my 3 bids. They're licensed, bonded, and have been around many years so when their bid came in lowest by $1K, and I was already impressed with my neighbor's I hired them. They gave me several addresses of roofs they've done in different colors so I could see exactly what I was choosing, then they removed my old roof and installed the new in 7 hrs. The cleanup was so thorough that even the dead leaves are gone from my patio. Very experienced, very professional. read more

We couldn't be happier with the workmanship, honesty, quality, integrity and teamwork of Artisan. From the owner to the office staff to their crew of installers, everyone is top notch! From choosing the shingle color with some recommendations to see them in real time on homes they did, to getting the date set, to the installation itself, which was done with care, including the cleanup. Everything they did came off without a hitch. We had a snafu with our HVAC company not showing up to install the furnace pipe, but Amy and Jose went to bat for us and got it as close to resolution as possible on installation day without anything being compromised for the finished product. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and grateful for seeing their glowing reviews on NextDoor, which led me to them in the first place. I took before and after pictures and the contrast is nothing short of amazing! read more

We needed our roof replaced, and Artisan did an excellent job from start to finish. My wife did most of the legwork- doing the research and calling a lot of different roofing companies in the area. She found that Artisan had fair prices, was honest and upfront about how they did things, and didn't use contract workers for roof replacements but instead all of their workers work directly for the company. A lot of roofing companies ask for the insurance quote before providing their own quote. Artisan gave us a quote without asking for what the insurance promised to pay out, which made it seem like they weren't just trying to take whatever the insurance company was willing to pay instead of providing their own price. The actual installation went well. They replaced the roof as promised, and even though it ended up taking 2 days, they did a quality job. They also did a good job cleaning up, as we weren't able to find any nails after they left. My wife and I are happy with our experience with Artisan and would recommend then to anyone looking for quality roofing work in the area. read more

I compared three roofing companies before I decided to go with Artisan. They stood out with honesty, very competitive pricing, and were very responsive and collaborative throughout the entire process including the discussion with the insurance. The Artisan crew just left our house. They replaced our roof and did a fantastic job. The crew arrived on time and were very efficient and friendly. The supervisor on site gave us updates as they worked, so there were no surprises when it came time to pay. Their estimate was incredibly close to the actual cost. Not only were the roofing workers great, but the office staff was, too. They were very responsive and provided us with all of the necessary information that we needed to make our roof replacement go as smoothly as possible. I just can't say enough good things about this company. We chose them for their reasonable estimate and quality work, but also because of the volume of 5 star online reviews. We are so glad that we did! read more

Hi, I am so excited about writing this review. My roof was done today and it took about 5.5hrs. I was at work but my mother said they arrived around 7:15am and when I called back at 1pm, they were finished and had cleaned up everything. Very professional. Mom said it was a large crew. I want to thank Dustin, he is so kind, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and professional. He honestly helped me through this process. He even met the insurance adjuster. Oh how thankful to God I am for sending him to my house one day. Amy and Taylor are fantastic and helpful and kind. Artisan Quality Roofing, you are the best!! God bless you all. I had a great experience with Artisan Quality Roofing for my roof replacement. They were super easy to work with - highly attentive and professional before, during, and after the job. The office staff is fantastic - responsive and knowledgeable. Their quote process was straightforward and very competitive even considering that they use the highest quality product of any of the companies I looked at. The workmanship appears to be excellent, and the crew went above and beyond cleaning up after the job. The crew was friendly and very efficient. Multiple neighbors have been asking me, "who did your roof?". I highly recommend Artisan. read more

I had Artisan to replace my roof and they failed to repair the overhang siding after I brought it to their attention. I spoke with Jose (Artisan Supervisor) and he advised me that it wasn't covered under the warranty contract. The company sent me an estimate to repair the problem. I'm very disappointed in their customer service they provided. I don't recommend this company for a roof replacement or any other services they may offer. read more

Our leaky old roof needed replacement and I got three estimates. Artisan was the lowest up front, and the estimator came in person and explained how the roof would be installed and details to look at in other estimates. He advised me that there were unknown additional costs that would be apparent once the old roof was stripped off. Artisan provided addresses of roofs they'd done with the colors of shingles I was considering. They were finished with the job in one day and left my yard very clean. The roof looks so nice that I have to spruce up the house under it now. I am looking forward to rain. Thank you Artisan. read more

I spoke with Abel directly. I told him I was a contractor and would like to achieve two things. One, absorb deductible, and secondly, upgrade shingle to architectural shingle. His response was he thought he could do that if my deductible was 1000 and not 2500. I told him it was 1000. We scheduled and executed job. His crew was outstanding overall. There were some scuffs and scrapes on siding, gutters, and trim. Most of them came off completely. There were two cracked pieces. And there were 9 nails in my driveway. Abel sent his brother to come collect the checked I had taped to door. When he arrived I showed him the spots. I think he assumed I wasnt giving a check? He started walking away, shaking his hands in the air. I said dont you want this check? He said I needed to speak with Abel. I went inside to text Abel and he called me while I was texting. He said I had waisted his time and he was coming himself. Upon his arrival, I showed him damages, he said no way could shingles break siding? I also informed him the way he produced the invoice, that I was paying the 1000 dollar deductible. He said that would be fraud, he doesn't absorb deductibles? We had a conversation about it and he said it was too late. My insurance company said depreciation was withheld and could be recovered after completion. That they would need a certificate of completion. Abel's response was, he would type a letter to certify completion. After a week with no letter, I called in to office. Abel sent a receipt through QBs. I responded to email inquiring about the letter he spoke of. He responded about he wasnt going to commit fraud for my gain? I was appalled. I am a man of integrity. I NEVER even implied I wanted him to lie or be dishonest. I am offended and disgusted with his implications. All this said, I believe the roof is a high quality install. I recommend getting everything in writing. It seems he told me what I wanted to hear to get the job. read more

A couple of guys were going through the community for a walk-in inspection for possible damage after last fall's hail storm. One of them assessed that there were some damages and repair was needed while the other guy assessed that there was extensive damage and the entire roof needed to be replaced. He insisted on talking to insurance right away which we did not want to rush into since there was a difference between the two assessments and we had a doubt about the extent of the damage. That is when we started checking for a reliable roof inspector before making a final decision. We decided to call Artisan based on various great reviews on yelp, google etc. The inspection was scheduled within a week and we were updated regularly with status throughout the process. After inspection, we were informed that the shingles were fine. There were minor things but did not warrant any repairs at the time as the shingles were fine. We highly recommend Artisan roofing for fair assessment and professionalism. read more

I recently replaced my whole roof with Artisan. I checked almost 20 Vendors in the area and either they never send email quote or did not even follow up with me. The Team (Amy and Abel) were keeping me informed about prices materials etc. The crew did an amazing and timely job. They took care of every tiny detail and cleaned the whole thing when they finished (No papers, no nails or screws around). I guess that the 15 families of the Preston Nextdoor Mail group were right. Extremely happy with my entire experience, all the way from the initial contact and appraisal. They were kind enough to set up a zoom call to help go over all my questions and left me feeling very comfortable about choosing them. Aside from being super accommodating with all my requests for information, and when it came to the actual workday, things went super smoothly. The workers were fast, efficient, respectful, and quiet (obviously aside from the unavoidable construction noises). The cleanup was also super thorough, and they made an extra effort to protect all of my potted plants. The roof looks amazing, of course, and with their warranty and customer service I feel like I've made an excellent investment. read more

Working with Artisan was awesome! They were helpful and kind, kept us informed, and did great work. We have a beautiful new roof, installed in one day, by a super hardworking and polite crew. What is almost as amazing as the roof work, is the fact that when they left, except for the sign, there was nothing that showed we just had major work done. They were super careful with our plantings, garden, and deck furniture and everything was put back right where it came from. read more

I had Artisan Roofing do my roof about two weeks ago and I am very satisfied with the whole process. I say the whole process because it was a very easy process. From the original consultation with Abel. He is great to speak with, passionate about his work, and explains everything in detail. Any question I had through the process he answered right away and tried to provide me with shingle documentation to explain what he is saying. Once I decide to go with them, Amy was great to work with. She was prompt and made helped me go through the whole process up to installation. Even the day of installation she sent out an email letting me know that If I run into any issue to contact them. The installation was smooth. The crew came, covered things, and worked hard all day. They left everything very clean and in great condition. The following day Abel came to meet with me and do a walk through. He answered any questions I had and was very professional. If you have any concerns, I will say that they did everything as I expected and the roof looks better than I expected. Their price was very reasonable and the whole team is professional. Go look at homes that they have done and compare those home to their neighbors. It will be clear just from looking at the roof that they do a much better job than other companies. read more

I have to say the experience was great. The crew worked with precision, worked fast, and clean. They worked steady from the time they arrived until they completed the job. We had a wonderful experience with Abel and his crew at Artisan Quality Roofing, and would highly recommend them. They are a local business who specialize in roofs and have been replacing them for years, so they really know their stuff. Abel provided a thorough estimate and patiently answered my many questions, the workers showed up when they were scheduled, worked professionally, and cleaned up after themselves, and the price was as quoted.
