I had a situation where I was from out of town and had a deadline to get back home. Serra's staff was so kind and professional and went above and beyond to get it done ahead of the date I gave them. Incredible service, my car looks great, truly such a nice group of people to work with that made a stressful situation not stressful. read more

My car was backed into and in need of a new front end. My insurance company provided a list of places to choose from. Ultimately I picked Superior. It's conveniently located on my commute for work. My car was assessed quickly by one of their repairmen. I received a quote for the costs a day after the assessment. Once all the parts were in, I dropped off my car and received my rental. Repairs took about a week to complete. My car is awesome now! I'm very satisfied with the outcome. There are a couple things I wasn't happy with. The first being the office staff wasn't good at getting back to me with answers to my questions about when I could expect the parts to come in. I understand about supply chin issues but every time I called they said they'd look into it and call me back but they never did. I always had to initiate communication. As I dropped off my car for the repairs I found out from the office staff that they could have gotten the parts from a Chrysler dealer because they carry Fiat parts since they now and Fiat but they were trying to get the parts from a Fiat dealer! Apparently the staff didn't know they could go through Chrysler! The other issue was while my car was being repaired I'd get an email every day saying the car was expected to be done the next day but then I'd get another email the next day pushing the completion to the next day! How about you just give me an estimate (like it'll take a week) and just call me when it's ready. If a week is nearing and it's not gonna be done, then call and say it'll be longer but an email with false hope each day is annoying and disheartening. read more

This place is huge. They do work for the Detroit Auto Show, they work on RV's and boats, and of course cars. It's owned by the same people as the GMC dealership, but they don't charge dealership rates. I walked in the back where they do the work, and could not believe the level of repairs that they can do. It's pretty obvious from the volume of work that they must be doing the repairs for local fleets and other dealerships. I even saw a semi truck getting repaired while I was there. The place was clean and my car was washed when they completed the work. read more

Deserve ZERO stars. I'll agree with the person who said amateurs work here. They piked up my car at a dealership to take to their collision shop and their driver totaled my vehicle. With the chip & vehicle shortage car prices have gone up & their answer is my tough luck. STAY AWAY. read more

This place is run by a bunch of amateurs. I took in my car after being rear-ended. After 3 days they told me to come pick it up. The right side of the bumper was sticking half an inch off the side of the car, and the guy I asked to come look at it was dumbfounded that I wanted them to fix it. He even told me, "Well it's plastic and it is cold out so maybe it will get better." Uhh, no. Fast forward four more days and they call me to come pick it up again. Looks like they used 3M automotive double-sided tape to hold it against the car... and because the tape is so thick the bumper is still sticking out along the seam. I called the next day and was told they were waiting on a 'bracket' they ordered to come in. Uhh, why wasn't the bracket ordered in the first place? Useless people, take your car somewhere else unless you like wasting your time. read more

Hit a deer and damaged the front fender and seat belts/air bag system. They did a great job - my car looks brand new. There were electrical problems with the seat belt locking and they worked with the dealership to address them. I really appreciate that they cleaned the car inside and out - even cleaned my bike rack! - in polishing up the car before I got it back. read more

I was told over the phone because of a bill that I had not paid correctly with a subsidiary of the company that owns superior collision they were holding my car hostage even though the bill has nothing to do with my accident or insurance reimbursement! This is unacceptable and bad practices. You can't do a mechanics lien without due process and that's exactly what they did! read more

This place is wonderful! We are from Ohio and were on our way to Saginaw when a car pulled out and hit our Ford F-150. The front was a bit mangled. The bumper was rubbing on the tire so we found this place and boy did they help us out. The gentleman came out and took a look at it and said they could cut a portion of the bumper off. They got us right in and it only took a few minutes. They did not even charge us! We were able to continue to Saginaw and then home on Saturday with no problems. What great people! read more

Very disappointed in Superior Collision. Sent my young daughter there to have her car repaired on two occasions. The second repair was sub-optimal (they glued a bumper on versus installing a new clip). When this was called to their attention, they refused to repair and told us that if we could get it fixed elsewhere they would refund money. Not only were the estimator (female) and manager (male) rude, they did not keep their promise. We're out the nearly $100, but at least the second collision shop fixed the car correctly. Good life lesson for my daughter - you can't trust people! read more

I took my car in for repairs and am completely dissatisfied with them. The management of the place (except John K) is completely incapable and should be terminated. The place should be closed and used as an example of how NOT to run a business. Addendum May 2015: I took my car back to Superior and spoke with John the Manager. He was the first reasonable management level person that I spoke with since doing business with them. He took the car back in for repair of the failed area and provided a rental for me. He did not need to honor any kind of warranty but did. If you go to Superior, go to see John K. and you won't just be dismissed as other managers have done to me. He took care of a bad situation and made things right. I thank John K. for his help. I only hope the work performed does not fail again. read more

Superior Collision has come to my rescue multiple times! They do excellent work, in a timely manner, with a smile. They're easy to work with and work well with insurance companies too. They have several loaner vehicles that they will let you borrow on a first come, first serve basis. I found Superior by asking the dealership who they would recommend. They don't disappoint. I'm glad to have a go-to place for auto repair in Michigan! read more

After my parked car waas hit on Christmas eve, they were great! I contacted my insurance who have me a list of preferred shops, eith Superior being right down the steeet from work! They wrote an estimate when i stopped in on my lunch break, ordered the parts and called to get me in when my schedule allowed! It was don't in 2 days (complete bumper and blinker assembly). Went to pick it up today and got a huge surprise! They had detailed the inside completely! It smelled absolutely amazing! Thanks again! Will definitely be recommending!! read more

Management staff are all crooks here. I would not use these people to fix your car, so many issues from long ago. Maybe they have changed or improved ? read more

I was hit in a parking lot and needed repairs to the side of my car. They were very nice and helpful throughout the whole process. When I got my car back it looked brand new. They washed it and cleaned the inside of my car and even put a full tank of gas in it. To top of off they gave me a free bag of "oh my lolli's" I would recommend this place! read more

I was in a minor collision and my insurance company suggested Superior. I went in and spoke with Nicole, who took pics, said she was ordering part, asked about a loaner and said she'd call within a few days. 2 weeks later, I called and asked about the status and she says "I didnt know you wanted to go ahead with it ", again said she'd call in a day or two. I called 5 days later, still no part. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRAINWRECK OF A BUSINESS !!! Nicole is (she said) the manager ! Very unprofessional ! Would not recommend this place to anyone. Only gave 1 star as it was the lowest option ! read more

The entire staff was friendly, respectful, and very helpful!! One of the mechanics took the time to talk with me and gave me great advice. I received a professional Written Warranty on the new parts (had to have a tire and rim replaced), and a little bag of homemade candies from Oh My Lolli! candy shop in town was included. A small gesture, but very thoughtful. I was pleasantly surprised that they even washed my car!! The office manager, Nicole, took the time to come out to my car to explain a few things to me that I had questions about. It was the first time I had ever had an accident while driving a car in my entire life (I'm 56), and I was only visiting the area too, but these folks certainly came through for me in making the situation as stress-free as possible. Thanks again!! It is greatly appreciated!! p.s. I just may visit Brighton again real soon!! Rachel Day, East Lansing read more

Where do I start with my review on Super Collision. This was my second time choosing Superior Collision for my vehicle, and the first time they fixed my car, they did a fair job, but didn't clear coat behind the handle (nothing bad just felt different from the other handles). I later returned for another repair and had Nicole, one of their manager's write up my estimate. I went to and from there 3 times to ensure that nothing was missed on the report. After the repair was performed, I got the car back and they didn't even fix half of the things I paid them to fix, even becoming lazy and clear coating above scratches so I wouldn't notice them. They took the car back again and fixed these small scratches, but after this the fender wasn't straight. They took the car back again, fixed the fender, but it still had a noticeable dent. These were the only major parts that they missed, but little things that they missed started to disappoint me. Later, I went to replace the speakers that I had already replaced before, and noticed that one of the clips hiding a screw for the door had been broken, and black putty was placed on it so I wouldn't notice that they had damaged it. The fact that they tried to hide something frustrated me. When I returned, I had John, the shop manager, take over with the rest of the repairs. Not to go into excessive details, but the remaining repairs have included a missing GM logo, missing screws to retain the fender, door handle paint bubbles, and paint chipping from the door handle. The accident happened over 6 months ago and the car is still not in pre accident condition. I have spent countless hours travelling to and from Superior and also time without my car. This has been a great inconvenience, involving about 10 times that superior has had to work on my car to make it right. The car to this day still isn't fixed correctly, but I would rather deal with a sloppy repair for now then spend my free time working as quality control for Superior Collision. I would not recommend Superior Collision based on my experience. Now to the good parts about Superior Collision. John was very nice during the whole process and has admitted that all of the problems on the car were the shops fault and had no excuse why they happened. I have nothing bad to say about the appraisal staff, other than they need to ensure that the work being performed is up to industry standards. read more

This place is god awful. They told me my vehicle would be fixed and ready on the 19th of the month. (i dropped it off on the 1st). Then on the 19th it was pushed back to the 24th and i was finally called on the 26th. When i went to pick it up the radio was not working (radio worked fine when i dropped it off for the trunk to be repaired). Then was called the next day that my car was ready, drove up there only for them to tell me they made a mistake and called me when the car wasnt even there. They couldnt have called to tell me that they made that mistake instead wait till i drive up there AGAIN. Terrible customer service and they dont deserve to be in business. read more
