Seroogy's had a constant stream of people today -- almost every cart had some kind of Valentine's sweet treat... including mine. I decided to give the chocolate-covered heart pretzels a try! But the real reason I stopped in was for the chocolate bars. The mint meltaway is amazingly smooth and savory. And the Shock Rock meltaway -- with the Pop Rocks that pop in your mouth -- is my absolute favorite because it's both fun and delicious. Don't hesitate to make a trip to this long-standing local business. Will cure your sweet tooth for sure! read more

they're beginning to taste like cheap chocolates at expensive . They said they haven't changed their recipe but they lied. The chocolate doesn't even taste like chocolate anymore. Greed ruins everything. I'd rather pay more good chocolate, but I won't be buying anything from them again. read more

Never a bad experience ordering from the website. Love getting to enjoy these chocolates from across the country.

Chocolate dipped potato chips. Yes. Get them. Amazing combination which I haven't seen sold anywhere else! They have dark chocolate and milk chocolate ones. Their turtles are also amazing, I got a variety pack of turtles as well as 2 turtles the size of my palm sold separately (one cashew one pecan). Impressive that this place has stayed family owned all these years! The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. Cute gift shop too. I even bought a pair of the Seroogy's pajama bottoms with pictures of little chocolates all over them last year (they still sell them) and when I wear them to Kwik Trip for my late night chocolate milk runs I always get compliments! I love Seroogy's!! read more

Seroogy's is not the same. Products are not ALWAYS outstanding and I question the freshness. Just bought, Snappers Pecan Milk and Dark Chocolate, the Pecans tasted rancid. Which of course spoiled the entire piece of chocolate. read more

Need chocolate, novelties, taffy, candy, gifts, coffee? Seroogys seriously has everything your sweet tooth or sweetheart desires. This family owned store in DePere is so bright, cute, and welcoming. You could spend a lot of time and/or money here. There is really something for everyone, whether it's sugary snacks or handmade melt aways. Many options, a la carte or boxes available for purchase. Even if you don't like sweets, you can step up and order a coffee or cappuccino and buy local Packers or Badgers gear. Even smells or windows shopping is fun at this decades old jem. I really enjoy the standard mint melt away bars and pecan clusters. Enjoy. read more

Best chocolate I've ever had. Great service. Price is totally worth it. I love this place. Cute gifts too.

Always outstanding chocolates and assorted treats ... worth the trip . You almost have to go there. Online is nice and convenient but does not tickle the nose like walking in the door read more

I have been to this place since I was a child with my grandparents! Now that I am an adult and I live in Colorado, I order from here! Fantastic chocolate! read more

This is the worst company to deal with, I paid $26 extra for the refrigerated packing and I received a puddle of chocolate I paid $75 for, customer care is horrific. They blamed it on FedEx and said I'm out of luck they will not be refunding me. I'm beyond upset. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE buyer beware!!! read more

We have been shopping at Seroogy's for years. Every time we visit our family in Green Bay, we come and shop. We usually buy gifts to take back home. They do a good job selling their candies and chocolate bars around Green Bay area but if you want the full selection you should come here. If you look around usually in the paper or some of the local hotels, there is usually a coupon for a free box of mixed chocolates with purchase. This shop sells all kinds of chocolates, coffee and food items, cards and souvenirs. They have already packed chocolates or you can make your own at the counter. One of my favorite things they sell are their mint meltaways. We usually buy them in candy bar form but they are just delicious. They are soft and kinda melt in your mouth. They have other flavors such a peanut butter, mocha, plain chocolate and others. I also really enjoy some of their others treats such as the chocolate dipped graham crackers and of course anything with caramel. I do think that some things can be a little high, it is just chocolate but you can find some good prices. If you are looking for a gift to bring back or just something for your sweet tooth this is definitely the place to come. read more

A De Pere classic and must visit every time I am in town. The store is clean and they always have samples available. My favorite are the melt away candy bars. read more

Best chocolate shop around! Always fresh and tons of options available to try out. 10/10

Best chocolates ever! Not waxy like other chocolates I have had from candy shops. Meltaway bars will always be my weakness. The store is always sparkling clean as well. read more

Hidden gem for sure. If you find yourself in Green Bay, this is the place to stop by. Really, it's here first and then the Packer's stadium. It's an old school type chocolate factory shop that has quality chocolates. This is my #1 place for chocolates. I was recommended to come here from the biggest chocolate fanatic I know. That's how I knew I was in for a treat! Seroogy's has been around for years and years. That's to our modern day advantage because they keep their process simple with the chocolate making and you don't taste anything artificial here. I also like the varieties of chocolate and candies they make. They have great selections during major holidays too. Last year I went during Easter time and they had beautiful options to fill baskets. This time, I went back for my favorites. 5 stars - Caramels covered in milk chocolate and toasted coconut. Best thing there, by an inch though cause really, everything is good here. This one is reminiscent of the classic Girl Scout cookie that's so popular, minus the cookie part. 5 stars - Fudge. They've got regular chocolate fudge, peanut butter fudge, and white chocolate fudge. It comes in a tray and is sealed in plastic. It's not too rich, with a clean tasting flavor. One slice per day will keep the doctor away. 5 stars - Caramels. Last time I was there I bought one, because it was near the check out stand and you know, I had to. This time, I bought a box of them. Yep, that good. Not a stick to your teeth caramel, but more smooth and creamy. Must get! 5 stars - Assorted chocolates box. They have small boxes, 1 lb boxes, or more if you want. It comes in a green box with their gold logo. I was gifted this, so I knew I had to come back and get me another. It's the kinda box that no matter what chocolate you choose, it's all good! I promise I'm not on a sugar high writing this review. It's just that I really like this place. A long standing tradition of making quality chocolates. This type of place is what my sweet tooth craves. Until next time Seroogy's! read more

A few years ago, my mom gave us a meltaway sampler box for Christmas and I've been hooked ever since! I buy myself a box every Christmas and I'm very stingy about sharing. The store is awesome! Kind of picture a Hallmark that sells chocolates. The gift shop has great collectibles, holiday items, and a huge variety of Packer merchandise. They sell much more than chocolate, too. Our son found Air Heads and some organic chewable candy that look like Starbursts. I picked up some popcorn. My husband found a bunch of maple flavored treats (his favorite). The staff was very friendly. I look forward to returning someday! Until then, thank God for mail order shopping! :) read more

My family and I have been eating these wonderful chocolates for decades. Even though I moved to Texas from Wisconsin almost 15 years ago, I have continued to send two pound holiday assortments of Seroogy's chocolates to family members in Washington, Colorado, Tennessee, Florida, and other states. All of the recipients loved the chocolates and received the packaged chocolates as ordered -- Until this year. The two pound assortment sent this Christmas to Coral Gables Florida arrived without usual cold protection in a melted mess. When I called "customer service" at Seroogy's to advise them of the problem, I was told "too bad, so sad, we don't guaranty the condition of sent chocolates where the chocolates could be kept above 70 degrees." This is the end of our decades long family tradition. read more

One can never go wrong with chocolates or candies from Seroogy's, bottom line. They make all their chocolates on site, literally a Charlie-and-the-Chocolate-factory style (minus the Oompa Loompas). I am more of a gummies than chocolate fan, and I absolutely LOVE their flower and worms gummies!!!! I don't know what they put in them but they taste like heaven! And the chocolate?! Out of this world, literally melt in your mouth (as they are so named) with goodness. They have such a wide variety of chocolate treats besides just chocolate, and my favorite are the chocolate covered Oreos. Sooooo good!!! But chocolate, but local, buy Seroogy's! read more

Incredible chocolates. Friendly staff. Great place to buy gifts. Definitely will be coming back.

I was in town for work and passed by this place. I'm addicted to sponge candy, or angel food candy as they call it here, but it's very hard to find. The guy behind the counter gave me a sample and it was great! I decided to use my company card with the remainder of my meal allowance to buy some. Unfortunately, they don't take American Express. I was bummed because I didn't have any other way to pay. The counter guy said, "why don't you take a few more samples?" and handed me 3 more pieces! The candy and customer service are great here! read more

Seroogy's Chocolates - Candy Stores Near Me - De Pere, Wisconsin

I grew up selling Seroogy's for school fundraisers and I suspect that's where my addiction stems from. Most of the time I'd just buy the candy bars from myself. Oh how much money I spent on those delectable chocolate wonders. I liken it to Charlie's obsession with Willy Wonka bars. That's not weird...right? Everything here is amazing, especially the Peanut Butter Crunch bars. I have dreams about them. And their ground coffee is also very good, with a wide variety of unique flavors. Butterscotch Toffee, enough said. Since I've moved to Chicago, it's a requirement that I stop in every time I'm back home for a visit. And it's also necessary for me to bring candy bars back for my friends. But sometimes they don't make it that far. I really have a problem... Seroogy's, I heart you. read more

Growing up my school would sell their melt-away bars for fundraisers. They were always a hit with anyone who bought them. It wasn't until I got a bit older that I really discovered what Seroogy's has to offer. Everything. Seriously, everything that I have tried there has been wonderful. The staff is very helpful and will let you try things if you're unsure of what to purchase. Since my family loves the chocolates I usually ship them some from time to time and have never had a problem with everything getting there in one (unmelted) piece. read more

OH! MY! LORD!!! Seroogy's is the best. I hate chocolate but I looooove Seroogy's meltaways (the mint & the pop rock ones are my favorite)!! Whenever I see them being sold somewhere, my kids & I buy 1. Another thing I love is whenever I see the bars on sale, it's always always always for a charity. They give back to the community, so not only does it make me feel unguilty to eat those bars, I feel proud to be buying them for whatever organization!! I've never been to their actual facility or store or whatever they have, though I've seen it while driving in DePere. There should be a Seroogy's in every city, in every state ! read more

We love Seroogy's. My personal favorite is the meltaway bars, but we also need to get a box of assorted chocolates every Christmas for the family. The good thing about Seroogy's is that it is not only good chocolate, they are a family-owned business that gives back to the local community. Joe Seroogy is a patron of the arts and the business helps with fundraisers for local nonprofits. I love supporting Seroogy's! read more

This review is more about Seroogy's customer service rather than their chocolates. I ordered a holiday package for my brother and sister in law and on the company's website I selected a shipping date for later in December since A) they were going out of town on vacation and I wanted to make sure the package didn't arrive when they weren't home and B) my sister in law is suffering from bad morning sickness so I wanted it show up when she was possibly feeling better. Instead of using the shipping date I selected, the company simply shipped the order immediately so it arrived in early December. Fortunately my brother and his wife were home to receive the package but I am not sure if they got to enjoy the entire box before they left for vacation, Plus, it's kind of lame for someone to receive a Christmas gift weeks before the actual holiday. When I complained to Seroogy's that they didn't follow the shipping date I requested, they simply apologized and said they were glad my brother and his wife were able to get the package. They didn't offer any sort of compensation, such as reimbursing the $13 I paid in shipping (since that's the part they screwed up) or even a discount on a future order. Because of that, I won't order from them again. There are a lot of options out there and I'm sure ones that will guarantee my package ships on the date I select. read more

Love the free samples of chocolates and fruity candies and free coffee. It's kind of hit or miss! The employees really need new uniforms! So old school and not in a good way! read more

This is the candy that all schools should be selling for fundraisers! So easy to drop mega bucks here and it's so worth it!

I received a box of assorted dark chocolates for Christmas. I love the caramels. The cream centers I find to be way to sweet for my liking. Nut candies were ok. read more

Its disappointing for an "old-fashioned" specialty chocolate place to still be using partially hydrogenated oils (trans fats) in 2018.

Hi - my review has to do with your chocolate butter fudge. I purchased 4 8oz packages from a friends fund raiser for $5.00 each - $20.00 and a box of mixed chocolates for $12.00. The box of mixed chocolates were excellent. However, the fudge was very artificial tasting. I ate one package because I felt I should. The next package was offered to guests at a birthday party and only two pieces were eaten. The guests did not like it either. The box of chocolates went fast. I have two unopened packages of fudge left. I don't feel comfortable throwing them in the garbage but I really do not like them. Why not discontinue making the fudge??? Judy G 3/23/16 read more
