Solid fast casual spot in Davie, in the plaza that everyone recognizes as Asian food central. I did get a sampling of different items and can 100% say my favorite was the chili oil wontons. Do not be intimidated because they are medium spicy at best. But the chili oil is very savory with a little vinegar to balance it all out. I'll definitely order that next time as well as the scallion pancake. It's on the thinner side however still good choice. It is so convenient how self service the spot is. Water, utensils, even plates - just go up to the counter and pick it up on your own. It's incredibly tough to pick in a shopping center full of great restaurants like this one but this is definitely the right move when you're craving dumplings.

I have been wanting to come here for the longest time .. and all I can say is " why didn't I come here before?!" This place it's amazing the dumplings are sooo good and delicious, made to order and there's plenty options to choose from . The shrimp dumplings & the pork pan fried were delicious. The only downside is they ran out very fast .. so plan to come here early . A small little location , not that much sitting but you can always take to go . I can't wait to come back here again, and try more things.

Dumplings in chili sauce, chive pancakes, and vegetable potstickers

A wonderful variety! Everything is, of course, hand made, so availability varies. Had the chive pancakes, pork dumplings in chili sauce, and fried vegetable pot stickers.... All really good!! The staff is friendly. After you place the order at the register of through the app, they will bring your food to you, and bus the tables after you're done- all with a smile and genuine concern that you're happy. They have self-serve water. This is a simple, utilitarian restaurant. When we were there it was just about full, both inside and outside. They also were doing a lot of takeout.

Scallion pancake was good. Soup dumplings were okay. Noodles were okay. Regular dumplings were okay. Everything was okay and passable and if you are in the area, I would stop by. But there are other and better options in the shopping center. You can order either through the qr code or at the register.

Delicious dumplings, great customer service, lengthy wait, but it was delicious. I love the dumplings here. The dough is not too thick and doughy, the filling is flavorful, and they have a variety of soups and entrees. It's more than just dumplings. I ordered the scallion pancakes, beef sanji, Peking duck bao buns, and soup dumplings. The sanji dumplings were flavorful with a nice crunch. The soup dumplings had delicious soup and filling. The chili oil on top made a great addition. The bao bun was my least favorite. The meat needed more sauce and flavor. The staff was friendly. The wait was a bit long for the dumplings. They accidentally gave my order to another table. They quickly rectified the situation. Plus, I was having a good conversation with my daughter, so it wasn't a biggie. Overall, I would definitely be back for another try. The dumplings were delicious.

The service was great and the staff were very personable; however, almost all of the dumpling menu items (the namesake of the restaurant) were unavailable. The items I was able to try (such as the Dan Dan noodles and Dim Sum Har Gow) 3.5/5 in terms of taste and quality. Honestly feel like the frozen shrimp dumplings ones the asian supermarkets are on-par, and the noodles of the Dan Dan were super overcooked and broke apart as I was trying to scoop them up with my chopsticks. I really want to give this place a fair chance, so I will have to come back when they have their main dumplings available to try and update my review accordingly.

Was hoping this place was going to be a hidden gem. Unfortunately, it fell short in many aspects. The food was not worth the $50 spent- the dumplings not seasoned and semi fried. The dough was a bit raw. The noodles had no seasoning. The boba was not chewy at all and flavor was almost medicinal tasting. They were out of menu items despite being open for only an hour. The wait for our order was over 30 minutes. There isn't enough seating inside or out. Considering we are in south Florida, sitting outside in the heat with a bowl of hot noodles is not ideal. The staff seemed a bit all over the place. Bathrooms needed to be serviced. There are no trash cans for customers. The inside was extremely hot.

A new spot in Broward for soup dumplings! I was craving it on a late Tuesday night and was curious to see how this place would compare to Dumpling King's soup dumplings. The wonton noodle soup is so savory, it's what you'd imagine and expect from a well done soup broth with dumplings and noodles The pork sanji is really delicious, it's pan fried so the bottom has a crispy crunch to it but a soft top to give you the ultimate dumpling experience The soup dumplings were good, but the texture is a little tougher than I expected. The dumpling sauce was really well done, a combination of sweet and savory. Ambiance is a quick cafe that lets you takeout or a quick dine in. Things that I believe this place can improve on: -Utensils: We asked for soup spoons and were given small plastic spoons that couldn't hold the soup dumplings nor dish out the wonton soup well -Service: we weren't even greeted at the door... upon entering we were immediately asked if we were doing takeout or dine in. Throughout our time here we felt constant eyes checking on us to see if we were leaving so the workers could pack up for the night (it was kind of stressful). Keeping in mind this was around 8:45-9pm and they close at 9:30p. Regardless of the cons, I would say the wonton soup and dumplings are still worth a try if you're in the area

Serious dumplings is new to the Davie area and is just getting started. For now the menu is pretty limited to just pork and veggie options but I hope they will expand on that soon. I had the scallion pancakes and veggie gyoza and I enjoyed both of them. You have an option to place an order ahead of time or order when you get there. They have a pretty large boba tea menu as well so I hope to go more in the future. Overall it is a spacious environment and it is located next to an international grocery store. : absolutely love, will come back, can't wait to try more things and bring people here : pretty good, some quality issues, would return again : simple stuff, nothing crazy here, location could not be clean or employees not friendly : I may give this place a chance to improve at least one more time : I will not be returning here

Boba and dumplings make for an excellent choice! We enjoyed the renowned boba paired with dumplings, specifically the chicken and cheese flavors. The ambiance of the establishment is relaxed, providing a great atmosphere to savor our boba. At a price of $9.95, the combination of boba and dumplings offers exceptional value. Please note that the dumplings were quite hot, so it's advisable to wait a few moments before enjoying them. To our surprise, the meal was more filling than we had expected. We look forward to returning to this delightful spot. We ordered the custard buns with weren't too sweet but was baked to perfection.

I ordered take out & was super impressed how quick they had the order ready. The price wasn't bad, they were just limited to mainly bobas & dumplings. The online menu was confusing because it gave you options for dif meals like noodles & such but when I called they said that they don't make that. Regardless, the flavor was amazing & everybody was content. The food joint was itty bitty but it's fine if you're doing take out.

The dumplings are super good. Amazing! The soup dumplings were the best of them all. The noodle soup was mid. Compared to everything else it was a total waste. Barely touched it. The service was okay. They could have explained things better upon entry. The utensils and all containers or bowls needed are at the front desk. They don't bring these items to you with the food. You have to go get them yourself. That's no problem! But, the concept should be explained to patrons upon entry to allow a smoother dining experience. Other than that the dumplings are amazing and there are so many options. I'd like to try the Boca location at some point.

Hands down the best restaurant for dim sum specifically in the Pembroke Pines area…read more China Pavilion is located in a pretty chill shopping center not too far from Pembroke Lakes mall. The restaurant feels very authentic to how Chinese restaurants are, the restaurant has a fish tank at the entrance which is very on brand and over all it's a pretty casual space. The food is really good and there are so many items on the menu, that I definitely recommend coming with a few people so you can try all the things you want without it being way too much food. There are a few waiters/waitresses and they all attentive. Even though one person takes the order, the other servers may bring your food, get you another drink, or clear things off of your table. This is also another restaurant I will definitely be back to and highly recommend, especially if you're looking for Dim Sum in Pines.

The baked roasted pork buns are a must but order early as they do tend to sell out and then you'll miss out! They also have an amazing menu with authentic Chinese dishes to choose from. Keep in mind, the actual big sign to this place says "Wong's" but I found out that Yip just opened on 10.08.22 and they are waiting for their official Yip sign. This is a tiny location that accommodates takeout and delivery orders only. There is not seating with tables & chairs. There is one bench out in front you can sit down and eat at but other than that, it's a quick order and go kind of place. We've been to the Yip at 1-800-Lucky in Wynwood and the Yip in Aventura. Super stoked for this new location as it's more local. They had us at YIP and dumplings. The prices are fair and not super crazy for the dim sum options. They also offer Peking Duck, wings, fried rice, lo mein, soups and other options. We were here yesterday when we found out about Yip but went to dinner at Leafy. Today the kids wanted soup dumplings and shrimp dumplings. So guess where we ended up? You already know the answer. Got har gao (shrimp dumplings, pork xiao long Bao (soup dumplings) and cha siu bao bbq pork buns. The soup dumplings were legit but man I have a hard time comparing everyone's soup dumplings to Din Tai Ding's super thin soup dumpling skin. That does it for me. The kids seemed to really enjoy most of the items ordered today, so we have happy kids over here! The shrimp dumpling skin is way too thick. The kids didn't love it as much. They really enjoyed the soup dumplings best and then the bbq pork buns. Want to try other items on menu. Go see Jamie and tell her we sent you. She comes from the 1-800-Lucky location so this is a nice and quiet change of ambiance for her. Ha. In case you didn't know too, Yip is also owned by Gold Marquess in Pembroke Pines, which is our favorite dim sum spot in town. Woohoo! By the way, no cash accepted here so be prepared.

There was a sign stuck on the kiosk however, stating that the kiosk was for takeout orders only. The place was clean and well organized. We seated ourselves and my husband walked up to the counter to grab some printed menus we spotted. An employee appeared from elsewhere in the establishment and grabbed the menus and brought them to the table, leaving my husband awkwardly following him back to the table. My daughter saw the drink menu of teas and drinks and asked for an orange drink. I inquired from the server whether it was okay for kids, had any milk, and whether it was a juice or not. He informed me it was a syrup and it was a good choice for a kid. Upon receiving the drink, I tasted it and it tasted very strongly of green tea. Not something I would give to a child, but I guess I didn't specifically ask that question. My daughter was highly entertained by the robot server with a cat face that delivered our drink order. We continued optimistically and ordered the Peking Duck Bao, the Pork Soup Dumplings, the Chicken Sanji and the Fried Noodles with Shrimp. The Peking Duck tasted severely microwaved and dry. The skin was soggy and not at all appetizing, and there was one tiny sliver of green onion in one of the three bao. The pork soup dumplings were nothing to write home about, but were good overall. The dipping sauce that accompanied the dumplings was delicious and definitely added some flavor to the dumplings. The Chicken Sanji was a thick skinned bao dumpling and something I was looking forward to trying. It was lacking in flavor and the texture was not my favorite. It was accompanied by the same sauce as the soup dumplings. The fried noodles with shrimp dish was disappointing. The shrimp was perfectly cooked but the noodles and veggies lacked in both flavor and texture. All the veggies were soggy, and the noodles were coated in a sauce that lacked any type of flavor. It was just... sad. My daughter was provided with some cute kitty kids reusable chopsticks that she did use, so that was something that added a little value to our visit. Our check was around $65 before tip, and I have to say we will not be back.
