The food was delicious and plenty of flavor. Surprising how well the ranch dressing paired with the buffalo sauce. Waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable and never gone from behind the bar very long to serve food. read more

It was a very good Chicago dog, worth every dollar. Good fries as well, and of course tap beer. Good service, and it has been renovated at some point in the last ten years, it looks nice. Of of the busy main road near by as well. read more

After many years of driving by we finally went to check this place out for lunch. Much bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Staff was friendly and helpful. I had a bbq hot dog which was very good. The buns are toasted and fries very tasty. Gouda Mac n cheese tasted really good too. Kids all enjoy their food. Burgers were smash burgers which hubby said was tasty. Definitely be back and take family when they visit. read more

The Gouda Mac is to die for. The Mac is the way here. It does not disappoint. Dare I say it's a religion here? I used to order white Mac from a bar in Chicago for 6 years. This is better than that. read more

Clean restaurant. Great menu. The summer lunch menu specials you can order a hot dog, burger or a BLT with fries and a soft drink for $10. The food came quickly and was hot. The hamburger bun was a little hard on the top and there was way too much mayo. Was also never offered a refill on my drink. From my observation, the restaurant was short staffed. I will definitely go back again. read more

Serious dogs has some serious good food. Huge fan of the Spicy BBQ wings, they are large and delicious. I have tried a few of the dogs and they have all been great but there are multiple other favorites on the menu, including wraps and flatbreads. Service has always been Friendly and Noah is Great! Plenty of tv's with sports on as well. I keep going back! read more

Look, I have NEVER had a hot dog on Texas toast. This sounds like some Texas State Fair type of stuff. First off, this is a small restaurant. I can only Im again what it would be like during the dinner rush or the weekend. But, the service was amazing and prompt. There is a plethora of various portion. One bite into the BBQ Bacon dog, and just like that, I was hooked. I actually stopped midway, and ordered a freaking bacon Gouda Mac to go. I can not stress the importance of supporting this business. Like this will be in my monthly rotation of places to eat at. read more

I haven't had a bad meal yet, it's always consistent. The food is always fresh and hot. The restaurant is always clean. The service is always friendly. I usually get the smash burgers. The olive smash is my favorite. The cheese curds and onion rings are delicious. They make their own ranch and it's so good. read more

We have been to Serious Dogs several times. All of our previous experiences were great. Yesterday's was horrid! First of all, when we pulled in, my husband had to go in and ask the worker to have the service worker that was fixing something to move his work truck out of the handicapped parking spot. Now, the fact that a contactor illegally parked was not Serious Dogs' fault, but the lady who worked there went back into the back room. We sat there for at least 5 minutes yelling hello? My husband coming in and talking with the lady working there should have given her an idea that she had customers. I even called thinking they would come out front to answer the phone. Nope. Finally, after waiting for service for 5 to 10 minutes, we got up and started to leave. Another customer told us there was a bell we were supposed to push to get service. We didn't see any sign letting us know this; and in all our previous visits, there was always someone at the counter! So we were sadly disappointed and left with no tots or wings. read more

Their food truck was parked across the street from work today. Haven't had them yet, so glad I got them today. Loaded tots are very good. The coney is on a toasted Texas toast style bun, 1/4 lb hot dog and then the toppings. Very good. These are priced as gourmet hot dogs, 1 = $6.99 For these prices I exact a baseball game to come with it. read more

Service Poor, Silverware dirty, Pulled pork was not ready at lunchtime despite featuring in several menu items. Food was nothing incredible for a dine in. As a carry out option it's fine but I will not be back. read more

Okay, so I have been wanting to try this place since it opened because it is close to where I live and work, and I'm always down for a good hot dog. However, what has always made me hesitate was simply the concept of paying $7 for a hot dog (it comes with a pickle and chips, says the menu, but still...) Today, I tossed my frugality out the window and decided to give Serious Dogs a shot. I went with a Coney Style dog and some onion rings with a bottled soda. (Total came to just under $12!) Service was super friendly, food came out quickly, and the ambiance of the place was great. For the food, my favorite part was the bun. (Is it bad that my favorite part of a hot dog dish was the bun?) It's a New England style split bun that they've clearly cooked on the flat top with some butter or grease. The dog was fine - good size and better flavor than a grocery store dog. It wasn't overly hot, and the shredded cheese on my dog wasn't really close to melting, which made for a messy, awkward meal where most of the cheese fell off onto my tray as I tipped the dog. The rings were pretty good, and served with ranch (which is a good thing). They have a Serious Dog club where, if you eat every dog on the menu at least once, you get a shirt and your picture on the wall - which is kinda a fun little challenge. I'm intrigued by the different flavors of hot dog they have listed on the menu, and it's tempting to come back 15 more times for the "free" t-shirt. (Really would be a $116 shirt after buying all those $7 hot dogs!) In the end, the food WAS tasty, the service was great, but I'm still stuck with part of me bemoaning the fact that I just spent $12 for a hot dog meal! I'm sure I will be back, but probably not as often as I would if the dogs were cheaper. read more

Food is great! Yummy and Delicious, our servers and service was great! Definitely recommend coming here for fresh HOT food!

1st visit was ok. Cheese curds were the bomb. Homemade chips were top notch. Hot dog was flavorful. Both wife and I got the Coney dogs and both had same reaction. Was definitely not "coney" sauce as we've ever had. Wasn't terrible but wasn't great and the New England style bun was different. For sure going back to try other dogs and the olive smash burger sounds good but won't do the coney again. Was a little pricey for 1 dog and chips. Will update with next visit. read more

We tried Serious Dogs on the recommendation of a friend and are glad we did. The menu choices ranged from more traditional style dogs to some fun and creative ones. Seriously the best dogs in southwest Michigan all the choices are top notch definitely worthy of checking out

Just went there and stood at the counter for 10 minutes and no one bothered to come out and say hi or go fist yourself or anything. Finally walked out because of lack of service. Was looking forward to trying the food but couldn't even get someone to wait on me so I could. If I could give negative stars I would. read more
