My husband and I had been here once before. We enjoyed their prix fixed dinner and ordered it again. During the week (Sunday-Thursday) it's 24.95 and on Friday and Saturday it's priced well at $27.95. The deal offers nice options. We split our mussels and crab cake appetizers. We both enjoyed our entrees, veal parm with linguini and chicken Francese with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The entrees were brought out a bit too quickly, we had hardly just finished our apps, but they were generous and delicious. As soon as they took away the dinner plates dessert was offered.... cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake, toasted almond cake, cannoli or ice cream. The deal also includes coffee or tea. All in all a great meal, just wish they would slooooow down!

Chicken Martini- lunch prix fixe. I did not cut these pieces, they came out served to me already cut this way...

Lunch was great. Homemade pasta was great. Chicken Martini is a hit. Would recommend for lunch and dinner.

The food is an excellent twist on classic Italian which Mt Pleasant already has plenty of. Make sure you make a reservation though!

Stood at the counter and made eye contact with three separate people who didn't bother to even greet me (2 guys making pizza and one server/host who was standing behind the counter, with her arms crossed staring blankly at me). I stood there patiently waiting for someone to ask how they could help me when a young girl walked in after me. She walked right around me and up to the counter where she and one of the guys behind the counter began engaging in banter; "it's been a while!". So they know each other, cool. Then the man behind the counter began bagging to the order she clearly came in to pick up. This is the point I decided to leave. How do you begin servicing the person behind me before even acknowledging me? Clearly you weren't too busy to have THIS conversation. I just came in for TWO SLICES OF CHEESE PIZZA to go. A simple order that would've taken no effort what so ever. I just hate bad customer service.

The food was always fresh and just amazingly good. It always hit the spot. Sadly, we moved more than an hour away and our visits stopped being as frequent. However, we were in the westchester area last weekend for a fun event with the kids and Abatino's immediately came to our mind to go have dinner at. We needed a casual spot we know we would all like and we hoped Abatino's would still be IT! Well, all these years later, it is still the wonderful place we remember but even better now because our kids got to experience and love it! Service and dining have not changed- prompt and comfortable. The real winner- the food! We got meatballs to start- kids devoured them and they LOVED the rolls. So much so we got some to take home with our food we couldn't finish. Abatino's sauces are what seriously deserve the praise. From their basic red sauce to the sauces on the different dishes. Heck, the cheese sauce on my youngest's macaroni was so good. Even their salads are good, guys- their dressing and the Gorgonzola they use- it's superb! All I can say is if you are looking for homemade really good Italian food in White Plains- this is the place to go! Don't let its facade next to the Stop & Shop fool you- it is warm and inviting inside. The FOOD will not disappoint. You can smell the deliciousness as soon as you walk in the door. Thank you Abatino's for being such a warm memory for my husband and I and for not changing all these years later. We will be back, just not maybe as much as we can or would like to!

Parking took a little patience, as both the front spots and lot across the street were full, but we secured street parking on a second pass. From the outside it feels intimate, almost modest. Step inside and it opens up into a surprisingly spacious dining room, with a hallway leading to additional seating in the back. Service was attentive and polished throughout. They start you with eggplant caponata, a welcoming touch. We shared the Four Cheese Arancini and a grilled calamari and shrimp special, both well executed. I ordered the Bucatini all'Amatriciana, the daily special and one of my favorites, and it delivered with depth and balance. My wife's Pappardelle del Bosco, finished with truffle oil, was rich and aromatic. Espresso and a house-made amaro to close sealed the experience. A strong first visit. We'll be back, especially for the Chicken Scarpariello I keep hearing about.

Our server didn't greet us and instead immediately asked what we wanted to order...less than five minutes after being seated, before we had even looked at the menus or been asked if we wanted drinks. We told him we'd like to start with drinks, and although he reluctantly took the order, he returned a few minutes later empty-handed and again asked us to place our full order, without even bringing the cocktails to the table first. It felt rushed and disorganized right from the start. Throughout the evening, every interaction felt pressured, despite the restaurant not appearing particularly busy, which made what should have been a relaxed birthday dinner feel uncomfortable. When our first round of drinks was finished, he never once came back to ask if we wanted another round, which was surprising given the setting and price point. The most surprising part was learning that our server was the owner/chef's son. When we casually asked who Padre Pio was, he couldn't answer, which felt like a missed opportunity to share the story behind the restaurant. As for the meal, the total came to about $500 for cocktails, wine, four appetizers (grilled calamari, baked clams, eggplant rollatini, and insalata di campania), and entrées including ravioli, spaghetti Padre Pio, chicken scarpariello, and branzino, with sides of mushrooms and escarole and beans. While some dishes were decent, others fell short--particularly the spaghetti Padre Pio, which was overly soft and lacked texture. The ravioli also tasted very similar to JB & Sons from Yonkers. The clams were mushy and overly saturated in oil. I did enjoy the eggplant rollatini. The complimentary eggplant caponata was oddly sweet. The menu itself was oddly presented. I've never seen chicken scarpariello listed with add-ons and separate pricing depending on whether you want it on or off the bone or with sausage, it felt more like ordering a pizza with toppings than ordering from what's supposed to be an elevated Italian menu. It cheapened the overall experience rather than enhancing it. Service issues continued throughout the meal. When our entrées were brought out, no serving utensils or extra plates were provided. When he later asked if we wanted new plates, he simply dropped a stack on the side of the table rather than setting them properly, which felt inattentive and unprofessional. Additionally, the bus staff were overly aggressive when clearing the table. At one point, a busboy dropped dirty utensils directly onto my friend's lap and into her purse that was next to me. To top it off, instead of offering us a dessert menu, a piece of cheesecake was simply brought out alongside the check. After spending this amount of money, especially for a birthday celebration, this felt dismissive and frankly rude, as it removed the opportunity to choose or enjoy dessert as part of the experience. Moments later, the lights were turned on, making it very clear we were no longer welcome to sit and enjoy the end of the evening. Overall, for the price point and the occasion, we expected a much more welcoming and attentive dining experience. Unfortunately, the service and pacing overshadowed the meal.

The food was worthy of the best restaurants. I had a salad, Chicken Parm, calamari, some vegetables, and an Old Fashion. I could write a book on the do's and don'ts when making the drink, as most places simply do not know how to make it. Alex's does. The food was delicious. A buddy who is a regular patron there suggested that next time I should try the steak. He said it's among the best he's ever had. This time, I tried the Surf and Turf and not only was the steak mouthwatering, but the lobster was just as good. Together, well...you won't find anything else better tasting. The icing on the cake is the staff. Extremely professional, they were attentive and well-versed in communicating the specials from memory. I cannot wait for my third visit there!

From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed into a warm, inviting, and impeccably clean space that immediately feels comfortable and special. Owner Leo sets the tone for the entire experience. He is gracious, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly takes great pride in his restaurant. He respects his customers and makes everyone feel valued--something that is increasingly rare and deeply appreciated. The food is outstanding. Every dish is carefully prepared, incredibly fresh, and made on the premises. Each plate is savory, flavorful, and consistently delicious. You can taste the quality and care in every bite. The staff is just as impressive--friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring about their patrons. They help create an atmosphere that feels both professional and personal. And as if that weren't enough, on select evenings Rini's offers live music featuring well-known entertainers. These nights elevate the experience even further, creating a vibrant yet intimate ambiance that makes dining there feel truly special. Rini's is more than just a restaurant--it's an experience. Wonderful food, exceptional service, and memorable evenings all come together beautifully. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning again and again.
