Have gotten numerous eye lash lifts before from other places. Was in town, and went to serenity. Got a lash lift and my eyelashes didn't lift at all and are point straight out rather than up. Claimed she was going for a "lifted look" rather than curled, instead of being honest that it simply didn't work. Still made me pay, and said if I wanted them to fix it to come back in a month and pay again with a wopping 40% off. Don't waste your time or money. read more

I was looking for a waxing place for summer and gosh, I was so glad I found Serenity waxing studio! This place seemed pretty new and it was very clean and nice inside. I called to make an appointment and staff was very friendly and helpful. I made my reservation with Michelle and she was AMAZING!! I think this was the best waxing experience I've ever had and Michelle did such a great job. I also tried eyebrow tinting as well and I am in love with my eyebrows:) I think their price is pretty reasonable compared to other places. If I could give these people a zero I would but I Do not recommend this place! I went in two weeks ago for a brow lamination. My eyebrow hair just don't stay in place and was told that it would help- I did my research and they had good reviews. Well the lamination looked great for a week, after the second day. Each of my hairs curled, and the oil they gave me was the size of my pinky? Like really I lost it a few time it was so tiny. I called after two weeks straight and asked is there anything they could do- GOT A BIG NO! Like really? I have used everything to get my eyebrow hairs to stay down. Hairspray, coconut oil, hair spray, gel, everything nothing worked! And they didn't wanna help me. I was going to go back just for a tint but I'm gonna find a better place who will actually help someone in need. read more

Not dirty but not sterile and very inexperienced. Obviously not everyone has the same tastes or standards and I was looking for something better. I am new to NC and have been getting lashes and permanent makeup for a decade. Eyelashes fell off after 4 days and the young lady who put them on had no idea what I was talking about when I explained what I was looking for. I hesitant on going back anyway because of the cleanliness (not what I'm used to) and now I know $150 later with them PLUS $100 to the other place I had to go 4 days later. I drove all the way to another establishment in Raleigh and paid for another full set of lashes. read more

Do not go to this waxing studio. The owner named Lee is very rude and over talks you. She sends out specials and does not honor them at all. European Wax Studio is definitely a better place in terms or professionalism and cleanliness. read more

I went to this studio again and Leah did my eyelashes and I have never been more happy with my lashes. They are beyond gorgeous and look natural but also people will notice that you have long beautiful lashes. My roommate goes to Alyssa and she raves about her work. I went in for wax of lip and cheek and chin. I felt rushed and I was real disappointed in the whole place. Firstly, the table was too high for me to get upon. I am disabled with arthritis and was given a thin wobbly step ladder to step on to boost me up. When I asked the technician about what kind of wax she had, she commented that the wax was hard. As she applied at first it was not a warm wax and as the minutes passed and waxing was happening, the wax got warmer . The last swipe with wax , it was actually too hot and I yelped that it was too hot. There was no comment and she ripped the wax off. I am left with a dark red streak right where the hot wax was on my cheek. No comment after she was thru, no ice, just a little calming gel. She was quick and quiet. I am left with my peach fuzz that I went in with. I will not return. read more
