Tried this spot out on my way through Burlington. I only had time for a quick SNS manicure but wish I could have gotten a pedicure! The service was too notch and the establishment was clean. Once you sign in, you are asked to wash your hands which is a plus. The man who did my nails was thorough and did an excellent job. I don't like my nails long and he checked to be sure I liked the length twice--once when he cut them and again after filing. My nails look great! I have been a customer of isalon for 13 years. Bought my Mom a giftcard to have her nails painted with a gel French tip. When she arrived she decided to have a design placed on one nail and have her toes polished. She was charged $50 for the extras on top of the $25 giftcard that I gave her! The extras cost twice as much as the initial gel polish and she didn't get a mani or pedi! I WON'T be using isalon anymore, don't give them your business, just go to B Nails in Graham instead! read more

I had a very pleasant experience at iSalon. This was my first visit, but I was very impressed. As a guy, it can sometimes be intimidating getting your hair cut at a salon. Not here - I felt right at home and was very comfortable. The staff was polite and courteous. I was lucky enough to have my hair cut by Megan. She did a fantastic job and cut my hair just right. Combined with the inviting atmosphere and easily accessible location, I've definitely found a new place to have my hair cut. To top it all off, my haircut was not expensive at all! The manager was not helpful in resolving my dissatisfaction. I had gel applied on Friday and Saturday one of my gels peeled off. The other nails were slightly raised near cuticles. I asked them to take off gel and I would pay for difference in SNS. The manager stated she could only fix the one nail or would have to charge me full price for the SNS. I asked that they just take off the gel and they charged me $10 to take off the sloppy work. The salon staff are more interested in socializing with one another than being attentive to the customer. read more

After being in rehab for a broken leg more 2_months, I was desperately in need of color & cut and I REALLY wanted it done before we went home for Easter. One of my physical therapists recommended Emily. I was able to get an appointment and I am so happy with the results. I love my color; everyone tells me i look brighter & younger! Emily is very thoughtful and considerate as well as professional. She made me feel very comfortable. I had forgotten my bottle of water,and one of the shop assistants noticed and asked me if I would like one, which was very nice. Also, my son-in-law who drove me, wanted his hair cut & they were able to fit him in without too much waiting. We both left feeling happy and looking better! So glad to have found EMILY at iSalon. So where to begin...? I had called to schedule an appointment for a wash, trim and style as I have rather long hair. When I arrived I was told I was with to follow this lady to a seat where she washed my hair, not even introducing herself or asking me how I was or anything. She gave me the worst wash ever literally scratching her nails into my scalp (and seemed to favor scratching the right side) and did not completely rinse the the copious amounts of shampoo and conditioner out. After she washed my hair she then began to blow-dry when I interjected, that "I am getting my hair trimmed" she promptly stopped. She tried to tell me thats not what I said, she then went to the appointment book and then apologized. She immediately combed and began to cut without a cape when another stylist brought her one and she laughed. Luckily, I let this lady ONLY trim my hair. She cut without checking to see if it was even and quickly began to blow dry and flat iron my damp hair. The front of my hair had a crease due to the flat-iron and the abundance of product not washed out. I expressed that she needed to fix it and she did while trying to explain that it was my hair and it was flat that when you part over and not down the middle that's what happens. Shocked by her complete BS excuse I told her not to worry I've been doing my hair this way the past 7 years I will fix it myself tomorrow. I later discovered this was the owner who supposedly has 22 years of experience according to the website. Apart from that the next AM I checked my hair and noticed in the back there was several areas she missed trimming which I fixed myself. Hands down worst experience ever and would not recommend anyone to this salon just based off the owners unprofessional behavior and inability to even trim hair which is pretty basic. Oh and the constant hold on one minute please while she dealt with other issues and speaking to others in her language with a client who does not know your language is rude and unprofessional. read more

NEVER AGAIN. I've never taken the time to write a negative review but this is warranted. First of all, unpleasant service. As a customer service person, I find it unacceptable when I have to ask you how you are before you'll even speak to me aside from "what are you here for." Second, and most importantly, my eyebrows- they no longer exist. The woman specifically asked if I would like them thinned or just cleaned up. I asked for only cleaned and specifically said I didn't want them thinner, even joking about my hair and explaining that I'd been trying to grow them in. Needless to reiterate, they are pencil thin. I am incredibly unsatisfied with both the customer service and the outcome of this visit. Awful experience. Receptionist was cranky and snapped at everyone who came in. had an appointment at 4:30, had to wait an hour to be seen... Stylist did not listen to me... Complained that she was supposed to be off at 6... Butchered my bangs... And the cut... Color was ok... But she got dye all over my skin amd left me under the heat dryer too long... burning my scalp. One of the worst experiences I have had at a salon. I went here to get a refill on eyelash extensions. The aesthetician seemed to have no qualifications to provide this service. It was an extremely painful procedure, and the end results were less than satisfactory. The aesthetician used enormous amounts of glue which almost glued my eyelid shut. It has been a little over a week, and my natural lashes have begun to fall out with the lash extensions. On top of this poor service, the woman charged me over $30 more than the listed price for a lash refill. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to get lash extensions. read more
