Absolutely loved my experience here today with Joy. Was thrilled they were able to get me in immediately as a walk-in and the pedicure was both relaxing and thorough. More often than not I find nail technicians rush through the pedicure with walk-ins to get you in and out, so they can move onto the next customer, but Joy took her time and kept checking with me to ensure the job she was doing met expectations. I also appreciated that during my manicure she checked to see if I wanted her to apply more coats to my nails, as the color I got was very light, and required more than 2 layers of polish. UPDATE!!! I am now 6 days with this new set of nails and I now have 4 of them off. AS OF NOW, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! Spend your money else where, some place where your nails actually stay on especially after paying 95$ So I went in right after the reopening of N.C. and the whole salon looked clean and well prepared for what we're all currently going through. The lady that did my nails/toes was very sweet. I loved my nails and toes when I left and considered making this my forever nail place. However, I got my nails done on Saturday night and here I am 4 days later and I have one nails already off and two more lifting. I'm super disappointed as I walked out of there spending 95$ I was hoping my nails would last longer than this since it's the first time I got them done in three months. Other than this, the salon is very clean, everyone is polite and their prices are fair. Maybe I'll come back down the road and give them another try, but for now I will try other places. read more

Gel manicure 2 days later looks a mess. Every nail lifting at the tip. The tech was very nice not sure why this happened maybe bad product or faulty application. Waste of money! Dollar store polish would have lasted longer then this! Update day 4 and 9 out of 10 gel polish nails have lifted off! read more

After trying many salons here in Burlington, I decided to try one with decent reviews, Creative Nails. The experience started with a limited selection of colors of polish but I was pleasantly surprised with how clean and new the salon facilities were. However, that is about all that was good here at Creative. The pedicure was okay and was rather painful, even though I have had close to 100 pedicures in my life. During the gel manicure, the aesthetician stepped on my recently polished foot requiring the polish to be redone and redried (an extra 20 unnecessary minutes). Then the aesthetician applied 3 coats of polish and two coats of gel sealant, but still didn't manage to cover my entire nail and left multiple gaps around the bed of the nail. During the cuticle trimming she left multiple fingers bleeding and then used acetone on top of the open wounds. There are much better nail salons in Burlington. Do not go here. read more

I got a gel manicure here and not only does it look awful, but the lady who did it was very rude. The second she began applying the color, I made it very clear that I didn't like the color and blatantly said that out loud. She continued painting anyways. Then after she had painted 3 of my nails, I asked I could switch the color and she made it seem like it would be very annoying to do that, so I felt bad and kept the color. Then, after she had applied two coats of the gel polish, she asked if I wanted a third coat and I said no. Then once she got to the second hand, she goes "this is why you should've gotten a third coat" and pointed out how you could see my nail through the polish. However, she never told me that I should have gotten a third coat, but continued saying "this is why I told you to get a third coat" whenever the polish looked uneven. Lastly, throughout the entire time, she kept saying that I didn't have my hands flat down when putting them underneath the light between coats and that I had them sideways (?) still unsure about that, but I get gel manicures very often and have never been accused of doing this and have never had a manicure turn out so bad. read more

I booked an appointment for 11am and when I got there, I was told to fill out a form for covid-19 (which I completely understand). As I am filling it out, my pedicure lady said "what are you doing?! don't you have an appointment at 11, come one. Like excuse me, I was doing what I was asked to do by the receptionist. Then from the time I sat down to getting my toes colored.. she rushed so much and it was less than 15 mins. I don't appreciate having to pay and not get a thorough relaxing pamper session. Then when she starting painting my toes with the gel polish, SHE accidentally touched my toe nail and then got irritated with me. Again, as she's putting the UV lamp on my toes, it slipped from HER hands and it touched my toe again. She said "are you trying to stay here all night? since you want to keep messing up your nails." Excuse me lady but it wasn't my fault and she had a really bad attitude. I didn't enjoy my experience here what so ever. It was the worst $65 I ever spent cause she was a total bitch. She was a short old lady. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE: Its been exactly 1 week and 2 of my gel toe polish has came off. The F'ING WORST nail salon I've ever visited in my life! I called, the lady asked me to be here at 5:00 p.m., so I arrived at 4:57 p.m for my "fill in and polish change on my toes (which I mentioned on the phone when she took my name down for my appointment. when I walked in the woman up front told me they were closed. So I mentioned that I spoke with someone and they asked me to be here at 5. So she shrugged her shoulders and said "ok whatever sit down".. fine I sat down from 5:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. when she finally decides to start filing my gel polish off my nails while hoping back and forth between me and another client ( just filing the polish off) then tells another woman to come paint my nails. So I proceeded to ask was she not going to do a fill in? She responded and said "no you said just a polish change" nnooo I clearly said when you asked me was I getting a pedicure "no just a fill in and a polish change on my toes) "I don't know who gets new polish after wearing nails for 2 weeks that clearly need a fill in. But not me" so now it is 6:32 p.m. and I'm just now getting my toes painted and still "fill-in-less" tragic! As the lady starts painting my toes the other woman is obviously saying nasty comments about me to the woman painting my toes "in their language of course" it was a rude and unprofessional experience. I live in Charlotte and was taking a chance coming to a nail shop today because I was in the area but if your ever just passing thru or live in this area, I WOULD NOT ADVISE YOU TO EVER GET ANY SERVICE RENDERED BY CREATIVE NAILS! I see why their ratings are where they are. I should have known better than to come to a 3 star nail shop anyways. And the polishes are TRASH. I stuck with white cause it was the safest color to walk out with and not be even more disappointed. I ended up leaving at 7:46 p.m., I definitely will never return! read more

I gave this business two stars as I've had good luck there before, but today the service and the attitude was awful. I waited for 50 minutes and then walked out. First, the wait was long but when I walked in, the impression was the wait would not be that long. Second, when a girl finally got to me, she was rude and short-tempered and told me I had "picked the wrong color." Third, she left me to service another customer who had come in after me. I should have asked how long the wait would be. but I think they should be honest and tell you when you walk in the wait will be long, or let you how many customers come before you. They should let you know what color wheel to look at, for gel or for S&S. A sign would be helpful. You should not be given the impression that they will be with you soon. read more

No stars? Had a gift certificate that my wife gave me. Had never been before and knew we were going away so saved it until then. Did not realize that it had an expiration date of 6 days earlier than when I arrived. Owner would not do a thing. I can only guess he doesn't need any current or new customers. While sitting in the chair i thought maybe this would be a great gift to get my wife; one visit a month for a year? I also thought this feels pretty good maybe I'll do this more frequently? I even asked my wife in the chair next to me if her dad or our sons had ever been here, that it might be a nice gift? All are still a good ideas only now I'll go somewhere else to purchase and I will never spend a dime w creative nails again. They lost two customers today and many for the future. Hate that for the two lady's taking care of us but sorry. Like I said the owner would not do a thing, but I can. I had been calling around for prices and the person that answered the phone was so helpful that I decided to go there because of the friendly phone encounter. The employees here are definitely polite and put forth effort, but this is sadly the worst pedicure I've ever gotten. I'm used to a minor language barrier, but it took me about two full minutes to explain French tips to my technician. Clearly, I couldn't convey any concerns about her having cut my toenails entirely too short or the fact that the white tips were crooked. She also continuously adjusted my seat forward, despite my moving it back, so that my feet hung off the edge of the foot rest, putting pressure on my ankles. I guess that made it easier on her? I've never had it happen before. I can tell that she was working very meticulously, as the pedicure took over an hour and she kept looking up to nod at me, which I interpreted as her checking in with me. I was going to just avoid the place myself because others seem to find the treatments relaxing, but now that my pedicure is chipping one week later, I feel like I should warn others. I guess it depends on what technician you get, but I certainly won't be back to find out. read more
