I love getting my nails done with my mom. We're not picky about where because we haven't found our specific salon yet, but this place is just definitely a no. We went in there once before and deceived we weren't going back but we forgot which place it is and remembered once we were in the building. Decided to give it another chance and nothing changed. I know my nail tech was absolutely horrible, she cut my skin all up and my nails were all crooked. Tried to act like she didn't understand me when I told her about them as she did it. My moms nails came out looking good but her skin was cut too. Her nail tech was rude, my mom was polite when asking for something and he sat there thinking they could speak another language and get away with making fun of her. Staff was friendly, but SNS was not the best. The polish was stuck to the edges of my fingers, is a bit bumpy in places, and overall looks messy. To take my old SNS off, they had me soak my nails in a bowl of cotton with acetone and move my fingers around. It didn't seem very effective and she had to shave off polish layers several times - I usually see places wrap them in aluminum foil and it works better. The location is clean, wait time was quick, and there were quite a few people there, but the overall quality was just ok and I would probably look elsewhere for the next time. read more

I tried this location for the first time based on reviews. I will not be going back. The staff asked what I needed when I walked in, but they just didn't seem very warm. They were all busy though, so I take that with a grain of salt. I was sent to the pedicure chair, and I got the $35 option because my feet were rough lol. I will say that Tina got them really smooth after scrubbing and I'm picky about my pedicures. The polish job could have been better as well as the shaping of my toenails, but that pedi itself was great. That's why I give them 2 stars instead of 1. The manicure was not the best. I had just taken SNS off my natural nails, and the place before this one had not done the greatest job shaping either so my nails were already jacked lol. I wanted to start over so I asked for gel. I should have specified that I needed an acrylic overlay, but I didn't, so that's my fault. Tina got to work on my nails and all was fine but when she went to paint, I told her that my nails felt really weak and flimsy and I asked if they were strong enough on their own to handle gel or if I should do something else...she said it was fine. I should have pressed then, but I didn't. My fault ‍. She continues on with the filing and shaping and things just don't feel strong but I couldn't tell of any major issues. I pay $80 for the pedicure and gel manicure and leave. As I'm driving I notice my left thumb on the steering wheel and when I stopped I take a closer look. Crooked nails all over. Different widths, and just uneven across the tops! I decided I would go back the next day (Saturday) and just have them fix it. Saturday morning I wake up and start to see all the splotches. I didn't clean or use bleach or anything like that, but even if I had, your polish shouldn't be affected from that! I had an event to attend and decided I didn't want to go back at all. I'll be trying ANOTHER new place tomorrow to just get a full set. A waste of money, but I'll pay to have it fixed for my own satisfaction and peace of mind. Sorry Tina. I won't be back. I suggest you all not go. I wish I could get my money back, but even just for the nails. Ugh. read more

I'm going to count this as my WORST PEDICURE EVER. As soon as I picked the basic option she rushed right through and spent no time smoothing my feet or correcting the polish she left all over my cuticles and around my nails. While I felt reasonably safe in the pedicure chair, the drying table is located right inside the front door within the manicure area, and i was within 6 feet of at least 5 people. Not COVID safe AT ALL. I regret going to this nail salon for so many reasons...and now I will go home and clean up this messy pedicure which I should have just done myself. read more

My technician was less than enthused and extremely rushed. Granted i didn't get there until 5:45, but you stay open to 7:30. She super glued my fingers, did not ask my opinion on the length, which i needed to have cut back and she noticable sighed. my fingers have paint all around them, she did not even advise me to rinse my hands after she poured 12 gallons of oil on my fingers Lastly, and what makes me the most angry is i have, what are to me, VERY obvious waves/Ripples in EVERY. I had my nails done (SNS) for the first at this location today. I get SNS done a lot, and have heard good things about this salon, but unfortunately that wasn't my experience today. The shape is uneven, there are dips and chips in the nails...I have seen photos on the website of work they've done that looks good. There was a rush of patrons who entered the establishment as I was having my services done. I don't know if my technician was in a rush because of this but it's very evident in the final product. It's unfortunate because the salon itself is nice and the young man working the front was very very nice and professional. I didn't get to wash my hands or anything. So I left with the cotton from soaking the nails off still on my dry hands. Probably take it elsewhere, folks. I like nail bar in Greensboro, would recommend the trip for quality work! read more

Of all the mani/pedis I've received in my lifetime, this was by far the worse. My hands were in the water bowl for the manicure all of 30 seconds to maybe a minute, my feet in the water maybe 5 minutes. The woman who did my service managed to do a pedicure and manicure in 40 minutes, and probably 15 minutes of that time she was taking to other employees and/or cleaning up tools/towels from my service. I will never go back to this place. And 46 was the price! most I've paid for a classic mani/pedi as well. read more

But i decided that my experience wasn't that bad so i came back to get them taken off a few weeks later and got a manicure. now this time was when I decided I would not be back. When I got there everything was going well until I was assigned Kim. Kim is the lady with BIG blue/black eyebrows. She was so rude my whole service and she did half of the job. I paid for the pedicure with hot stones and massage and got neither. But she definitely charged me for it. I got a gel manicure and color was applied so badly. There was gel stuck to my skin, and It was already chipping 2 days later. I had a coupon to use that got me 5 dollars taken off mg order and she wouldn't let me use it. I could also tell she was talking about me to another woman working there. The only reason I gave two stars was that the man in charge and the reception lady were very nice, and helpful. I had a decent experience but my nails looked like trash a few days later after leaving both locations. My pedicure and full set took forever. I got a gel french manicure, and the white tips were completely messy. Most of them were simply diagonal lines. I did not realize this until I left, which is why I didn't ask her to redo them. They did not remove the top coat from under my nails after it went through the LED light, so when I got in the car my fingers were essentially stuck to my nails. I had left over white paint on the bottom of my fingers. Overall would not recommend this nail salon AT ALL. I will not be returning. read more

I got acrylics at this salon 3 weeks ago and they absolutely destroyed my nails. I've had acrylics before for about a year and I know that It definitely ruins ur nails but not like this. They shaved my nails down so much and ruined them. I went to a different place to have theM taken off and It was extremely difficult and painful. I now have to wear gel for months to heal them. The experience wasn't great because all of the associates were shouting to one another and joking loudly and then I was made to sit and take off my own prior SNS (I've sat with them in actions before but no, I was being asked to physically take the cotton and scrub it off myself) the color selection wasn't great, I asked for coffin and to not cut down my nails- he cut them down and made them more squared. I don't complain often and figured things happen it's temporary, but yesterday, 5 days after getting them done, the paint chipped off on my nail! It was the straw that broke the camels back. I tried to take my daughter for a nice mother daughter day and we sat there for over 45 min before walking out. 4 people walked in during that time, I was the only person they never spoke to or asked what I was there for. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I went today to treat myself and have never been so upset with my nails. I've been to some rough places, but my manicure just looks embarrassing. I had been working outside and impromptu decided to get my nails done, so other than washing my hands I didn't clean them well. Tommy didn't clean them AT ALL and proceeded to dip SNS over the dirt (which you can see along the rim of my nail). He also didn't let me wash away or even wipe away all of the nail dust where he was filing them before he started dipping them. They're SO thick that three different people have commented on how weird they look over the 4 hours they've been done. He has SNS all on my skin, not even stopping where the nail ended. I tried to "trust the process" that maybe he just does things in a different order and will fix them later, but he left them so wide across my fingers and so thick that I want to go spend another $40 at a different salon to have them redone. I'm so embarrassed. Save yourself and go to Bella Vida, Nail Thymes, Lucky Nails, or any other nail salon in Alamance County. I chose this place because they offer a 10% student discount, and I learned my lesson there. Absolutely terrible. read more
