I saw an acquaintance in some of Addison Rose's pics on FB & saw $9.99/unit Botox for May 5,2025. I inquired as to whether that applied for approx. 60 units to which the responder said it did. I made an appt & nobody was there. The person who identifies herself as the owner eventually showed up. A few minutes later, I was allegedly injected for my forehead, eyes, & lip flip. She didn't ask which product or tell me how much she had used & didn't tell me til after I paid that she allegedly used Daxxify. The total was $695.52 which was $672+$23.52 for a credit card convenience fee that I wasn't told about either. Days passed & I saw no difference in my eyes. They actually looked worse. She claimed she liked to "under treat" so I contacted her about getting more Botox in the eye area. I went back in for the 2nd visit where more Botox was injected in the eye area for a total of $190 cash to avoid the CC convenience fee for which I received no receipt but I do have a witness for an alleged 18 units w/4 of those "free." Days passed & NO results. I grew concerned & contacted my dermatologist who got me in immediately. She stated that this was why she didn't treat JUST the forehead as it causes drooping & a "neanderthal" like look. She was also under the impression that the only Botox in my eye area was from the very 1st time I'd ever got Botox which was in October 2024. Total for the eye area that I had paid Addison Rose to treat TWICE was another $224 thru my dermatologist. When I saw the messages Addison Rose had sent, she also claimed she didn't carry Dysport which I inquired about before I contacted my dermatologist. I asked for a refund of at least half which I felt was more than fair to which Addison Rose's "owner" Shemia Garner stated that they don't do refunds. EXCEPT RNs cannot own medspas in NC per the Corporate Practice of Medicine Doctrine. Only licensed doctors can. Also, upon searching the NC Board of Nursing, Ms. Garner is NOT WORKING UNDER A LICENSED PHYSICIAN, nor does she identify a Medical Director which is required per the NC CPOM. In NC, "a Medical spa cannot legally operate without a licensed physician having ownership or significant control. Further Google searches also show that this same person was the director of "Garner's House of Grace" where there was a lack of training among several employees, no care plans written, residents having their personal items taken & then arrested in what the NCDHHS report called a "substantiated" complaint.

I originally wanted to get it injected but Rachael told me about the risk of pitting and hyperpigmentation and I'm so glad she did because she suggested BBL laser and a topical steroid. I've attached before and after pictures and the redness and swelling have gone down dramatically over the past 24 hours. It went from painful and swollen to flat and easily covered with makeup after the BBL Laser. Also, I was a little nervous about how it would feel but I felt no pain at all.

Dr. Graham is professional, the staff in the medi spa is terrific and there is never a long wait. Unfortunately, I believe the medical practice over books appointments because the wait time is excessive. I don't think there are many or any dermatology emergencies that need attention before seeing a scheduled patient so there is no excuse for long waits. Waiting 30 minutes is not unusual and if one calls in advance to check if they are running behind, the scheduler is less than helpful. If the patient is over 15 minutes late, they won't be seen and a late/no show fee is billed, but if the practice runs over 15 minutes late, that's ok.

The esthetician I met with said the keratoses should be burned off instead of lasered. I was very fortunate because the PA, Drea, had a no show and was able to do my treatment. You can imagine my shock and embarrassment! I have never been treated this way by any business, nor have I heard of a business behaving in such an appalling manner to clients. For cosmetic services, I find it important to develop a relationship with one practitioner. Stephanie is the only person I see because she's excellent and so lovely. So sad to say, but if this business makes a mistake on their end, they ban clients. Please bear that in mind before scheduling an appointment -- there is a zero tolerance policy on complaints.

I also purchased the tinted spf75 mineral sunblock and it evens out my skin tone. I've had facial treatments at other places and have never had this result.
