Hence the four stars. However, the front office and overall check-in/check-out process felt rushed and somewhat unorganized. I was asked to arrive early, but when I got there there were no intake forms to complete. There was a tablet displayed for sign-in, but instead of using it I was asked for my name and then told to manually sign in on a clipboard. The process just felt a bit inconsistent. I may be mentally comparing it to other wellness spas I've visited, but the communication around the membership also wasn't very proactive. When I initially called to start the membership, not much information was shared about pricing or the process. After my appointment, I noticed another tablet displaying total charges that were much higher than what I expected. I was told to disregard those numbers with no explanation of the additional cost verbally requested until I asked. I mentioned that I had a membership, but I was still initially charged the higher rate. Additionally, there wasn't an offer to help schedule my next appointment, which I've typically experienced at other similar businesses. That said, the quality of the massage was great, so I'm willing to give this location another try. It was also a Saturday, so perhaps they were busier than usual. I'm hopeful the front desk experience will feel a bit smoother next time before I decide whether to switch locations.

I booked a lymphatic massage and wood therapy, and both were exactly what I needed -- relaxing, effective, and professionally done. The spa itself is super clean and calming as soon as you walk in. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the vibe was peaceful without feeling too "clinical" The lymphatic massage was gentle but purposeful, and I could feel a noticeable difference afterward -- lighter, less bloated, and super relaxed. The wood therapy was new for me, but the therapist explained everything and made me feel comfortable the whole time. It was a bit more intense, but in a good way -- and I definitely noticed some contouring effects. They really take their time with you and focus on what your body needs, which I appreciated. If you're looking for a nice spa experience in Orlando I'd definitely recommend Alora. I'm already thinking about booking again next time I'm in town!

(this means you have to either lie with your chest on a pillow when face down and it crinks your neck a little bit. other massage places have the head support on the top edge of the bed angled down at a lower angle to prevent this which also provides the therapist easy access to your neck) 7. therapist never touched my neck despite telling her that's what i needed most 8. lackluster quality on the massage. best described as 'meh' 9. after the 40 minutes (insert personal gripe here), she says 'you good now?' Everything was super clean when I was taken to the room, I was told to put on a robe, a pillow was under my legs and then a blanket. Everything was so relaxing and calm, she asked if I was interested in a facial and then later on a hair mask that I did end up wanting to do. My hair smells amazing, feels amazing, my scalp feels amazing too. The neck and arm massage was soooo good and she also massaged my legs and feet. I would totally recommend this experience!

The one downside is that they only have curtains separating spaces. They aren't full rooms with wall. So I could hear everything happening in the whole place, every conversation people had with a person who walked in and a person who called. Luckily it wasn't busy when I came I was the only person there but people came in and called. As disappointing as that was the massage and scalp treatment were worth it.
