Room of Beauty is the place that I look forward to visiting on a monthly basis. It's where I can leave all of my problems and stress at the door! The moment you walk in, you know that you're in a special place. Jessica, the spa owner truly has created a space where anyone and I mean anyone will feel welcomed. I'm proud to refer my friends and family here because I know that once they experience a service, they will be hooked! Some of my favorite services include the GoGreen Facial, reflexology and Raindrop Therapy. Raindrop Therapy is amazing! It's a technique using essential oils and is applied to your back and feet. It helps rejuvenate the mind and body. Trust me after this treatment you will feel refreshed and have more mental clarity. The spa also offers unique gifts such as jewelry from Nina Mantra which are gorgeous! A new candle line called Soul Shine was created especially for the spa and you can only buy them here. These aren't just any candles. They are made on every new moon with various essential oils. Appointments can be made online for all services. She books up quickly so plan accordingly. Here I get a little bit of everything depending on what is needed. Marisol will create a package for you looking at your body needs and the prices are reasonable. Come in for a treatment and you get that plus you create a friendship. The spa is very cute. very clean, and is well decorated. I've had in getting a Healing Your body Natural treatment without gimmicks. I have had shoulder, back pain radiating down my arm. Keeping me from sleeping. I've been feeling very down. Due to nothing helping me. Have to travel to Kansas, approximately two weeks before Christmas. Upon returning, I noticed I started to feel like I was coming down with a cold or hoping possibly not a flu. I am so grateful to that young lady that recommended Marisol at Sol Spa. I am a very down to earth person and, she was not sure if I would take to the area where the Spa is located its family owned and operated in a humble yet very welcoming neighborhood. I grew up in Miami in a culture that is very diversified. From Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Brickel Avenue, to the outskirts of Hialeah. Which is a very humble suburb of Miami.(My humble proud beginnings:-) Proud of my heritage and my diversified life. No regrets :-) :-))) back to the spa, when I arrived I waited a bit for Marisol who was treating another customer. I felt very peaceful and in a very Zen like environment if you want to call it that. She took me into the treatment room I explained to her my situation she did not rush me I did not feel under pressure, it was all about me. No Rush or an appointment book full of customers. So I felt like, I was in one of the islands in the Caribbean. She listened to everything I had to say. Used several different types of Ointments and Gel like substances. Left me on a warm treatment table covered me, In a plastic like cover almost like a sleeping bag laying on my back with a mentholated strong gel among other herbs I could smell that smell divine. Unbelievably, she closed the zipper on this device up to my neck with my arms tucked in a sleeping bag like devise. Wow did you start to feel hot. However, I closed my eyes and I could smell the tranquilizing wonderful aroma that made me feel so peaceful of the mantle and all the herbs and suddenly. No longer did I feel heat that was bothersome at the very beginning. I felt a cracking sound in the middle of my back. And, remembered a rear end car accident. I had years ago. Thought OMGGG!! What a relief. ""Now get ready for the mindblower"" Yelpers. I felt like what would be described has being in a cocoon A"Womb" that was out of this world. And, no. I was not served any wine (LOL). The best part of this. Not only the physical healing I was feeling when she came back into the room. And, started to manipulate and massage my body with care, compassion and hands that felt like an experience I cannot explain with just words (lots of words :-) Her charge was a very modest fee. I was very surprised. Due to the fact that so many salons etc. charge mediocre moderate. And, astronomical fees. And from massages, treatments. I have had in cruise ships, Local establishments. I have never had a treatment that can honestly describe to you has eastern medicine combined with Indian medicine of course homeopathic. She also recommended other things that would help my body due to the stress I have been under physically and emotionally. Gave me some samples. Did not try to sell me anything. WOW. That was a shocker, in a very refreshing and good way. I will return to take a very special loved one that needs assistance. (boo) 5. massage person was there by herself, stopping to answer door while massaging me. . (not very relaxing) 6. bed does not have a drop down support for your head so that you can extend it down. You lay flat on the bed and there's a hole for you to breathe through. (this means you have to either lie with your chest on a pillow when face down and it crinks your neck a little bit. other massage places have the head support on the top edge of the bed angled down at a lower angle to prevent this which also provides the therapist easy access to your neck) 7. therapist never touched my neck despite telling her that's what i needed most 8. lackluster quality on the massage. best described as 'meh' 9. after the 40 minutes (insert personal gripe here), she says 'you good now?' Read in between the lines here. 10. upon departure she boldly asked for a tip 11. this place seems like an establishment best suited for gentlemen who like happy endings, not if you need a legitimate massage.
