It's been awhile since I've been here, but that just tells me they weren't happy employees. The stylist that cut my hair was very nice & has been there for years, however I asked for layers and to cut mid bicep because I have super thick hair any shorter and I'm stuck with a mess. of course when I left it looked nice, when I washed and dried it myself it is right past my shoulders and no layers I guess that's my fault for not paying attention, but also if you've been cutting hair for 20+ years I figured you would listen and understand why thick hair can't be cut this short. I won't be going back, and wish I knew where the girls I used to see went

I asked for a little bit cleaned up because I like them thick and full but she took off so much I look stupid now and I'm so mad. I have a really big thing next week and I wanted to look good now I look so ugly and stupid I'm so mad I finally got my eyebrows to how I liked and she just took away a whole inch of them it's looks like someone took a razor and shaved right down in between my eyebrows it's absolutely awful and I will be doing my own eyebrows from now on. I was finally starting to actually like myself but this just sent me back to the beginning I'm beyond pissed I've never looked uglier and I'm sorry to have to be so mean but I literally look like a toad. Edit: they hurt so bad after and then the next day I see a bunch of scabs and gross chunks out of my eyebrow area and it's so ugly and painful!! The wax ripped my skin off * my eyebrows are filled in in the pics they look 10x worse without them.

I got about six inches taken of my hair as well as a new color and highlights. I love it!!! Kyia did an amazing job and I continue to see her for everything (eyebrows, manicures and of course my hair!). I am moving within the next month and I plan on still going to see Kyia because she does such a great job. Everyone I have encountered at Bad Hair Day has been nothing but polite and super professional. They do try to sell you products l but people that's their job!!!! I will never understand the people who stop going to a place because they are trying to sell you something, it's a business and you can say no if you want. Overall all my experiences at Bad Hair Day have been nothing short of fantastic and I would definitely recommend them and Kyia!

Let's just say she did not, she completely fried my hair, she didn't even rinse the dye out. Not only that it wasn't magenta, she said she didn't have it so she tried to mix the color. I ended up with purple. they said they talk to a manager and get back to me. When they got back to me, they offered me an appointment with more experienced stylus. I went in. She tried to fix it. She couldn't. She said there was nothing she could do and she was sorry, but she didn't feel comfortable putting any more chemicals on my hair . Keep in mind I'd already paid several hundred dollars for this process. I was told a manager would get back to me they never did. i'm sure for simple styles and haircuts or color. They're probably great. But if you can't do the fun colors, just tell a customer that upfront and don't lie to them. These hairstylist had no idea how to do an ombre. The owner is very rude, condescending, and overall just gives off witch vibes. Every time I see her or am around her she's so incredibly rude. She is racist as well there was a stylist there that was black and she made comments about how they don't belong. Also, she cut my son's hair once and I'd never let her cut anyone's hair again. The salon also needs some upkeep. It's nice on surface but you do a lot of looking around when you get your hair done and you notice the lack of upkeep. I left when my stylist left and would advise everyone to avoid.

She listens to her clients and works with them in a very collaborative way. Crissy sets high standards for herself and her entire staff, and it shows! As for the salon itself, it has an airy, sophisticated feel and is IMMACULATELY clean. As for the other stylists, they are quality professionals. As I said, I have gone to Crissy -- and only Crissy -- for years. However, that has allowed me to see the work the other stylists are doing. From an observational standpoint, they all are friendly, upbeat, and professional -- and create great product! My daughter is 13, and for the last couple of years, she has had her "color stripes" [She likes a few fun color -- blue, pink, purple -- hightlights.] put in a couple of times a year.
