She took her time to discuss my hair goals, needs and expectations. The parking lot is rather small and they still make you call in to announce your arrival to see if they can allow you in. Even though they gloat over this state of the art air purifier that supposedly clear airborne viruses and other unsavory things ‍ They are definitely overpriced on many of their services.

I ended up with purple. they said they talk to a manager and get back to me. When they got back to me, they offered me an appointment with more experienced stylus. I went in. She tried to fix it. She couldn't. She said there was nothing she could do and she was sorry, but she didn't feel comfortable putting any more chemicals on my hair . Keep in mind I'd already paid several hundred dollars for this process. I was told a manager would get back to me they never did. i'm sure for simple styles and haircuts or color. They're probably great. But if you can't do the fun colors, just tell a customer that upfront and don't lie to them. These hairstylist had no idea how to do an ombre. The first girl actually left blotches of white in my hair from the bleach. My husband who never notices my hair actually said to me on vacation why are there big spots of white in your hair.

I've seen her between 4-5 times over the last year and I have never been happier with my hair. She's fantastic at haircuts and really makes sure that she understands your vision before she gets to work. She's also fantastic at looking at a picture of someone's hair color and doing the exact same thing on your head! If you don't believe me, go check the reviews on her booking website! I would totally gatekeep because I don't want all of her openings to disappear but more people need to know that you can get a decent color and cut in Toledo without going too far out of the way for it. 10/10 for Amber's Hair Chair!!

She is friendly, easy to talk to, and just real. Sometimes the women I've seen at other salons can be a bit fake or flaky, but not Ashley. She also knows her stuff. Over the years she has taught me a lot about skincare. At each visit she takes her time to do it right - carefully waxing, tweezing, and everything else. Some staff at other places I've visited can be lazy or careless, but never Ashley. Also her prices are AMAZINGLY LOW. She could charge so much for her level of quality work, but I'm so thankful she's affordable for us folks who don't make that much money! (Lol). Ashley is amazing!!!

I asked for a little bit cleaned up because I like them thick and full but she took off so much I look stupid now and I'm so mad. I have a really big thing next week and I wanted to look good now I look so ugly and stupid I'm so mad I finally got my eyebrows to how I liked and she just took away a whole inch of them it's looks like someone took a razor and shaved right down in between my eyebrows it's absolutely awful and I will be doing my own eyebrows from now on. I was finally starting to actually like myself but this just sent me back to the beginning I'm beyond pissed I've never looked uglier and I'm sorry to have to be so mean but I literally look like a toad. Edit: they hurt so bad after and then the next day I see a bunch of scabs and gross chunks out of my eyebrow area and it's so ugly and painful!! To clarify, the woman who did my eyebrows was an absolute doll. The owner, however, was far less than pleasant. When I arrived, I was told that there would be a short wait and the nice lady who checked me in offered to bring me a glass of wine. I declined. A few minutes later, I thought better of my choice and gestured to the owner as he passed. He sized me up with a glance as he paused to find out what I wanted. When I explained that I had changed my mind about the drink, the man rolled his eyes and perfunctorily summoned someone else to bring the drink. What I found most odd and off putting wasn't so much that he didn't pour it himself, despite our both being exactly next to the cute little bar area. No, it was the fact that he didn't so much as smile or even acknowledge me more than to hear my request and call for the help. I no longer live in the Toledo area, but if I did I would certainly not return. I don't need to spend my cash in a place where I am made to feel like a bother.
