Darla is such a skilled esthetician--she took the time to assess my skin's needs and customized every step, from the exfoliating treatment to the soothing facial massage and mask layering. My skin felt completely renewed and glowing afterward! I honestly can't remember the last time I was that relaxed--I almost fell asleep! Her arm and hand massage melted all the tension out of my body. Darla is also very knowledgeable and took the time to educate me on skin health and care, which I really appreciated. Worst experience ever... her name was Renee.. very snotty very rude my hair was faded from dye so she tried charging over 600 for color highlights and remover... very stingy id say 10/10 do not recommend hopefully every stylist there isn't like this... so glad I had many other consultations booked because my hair would of never got done... once I told her my budget was 350 she wasn't looking to do my hair anymore and I felt/saw the difference in her behavior... if you want to feel beautiful after having your babies do not go here!! Perrysburg salons are way nicer and better with both stylists and pricing and get you in quick! I was booked an appointment here to only find out they wouldn't do my hair until 2 weeks later! I honestly just believe she didn't know how to do what I wanted on top of her judging me because of pricing because I'm young... Worst haircut in my life. Stylist was said to specialize in the cut I wanted--what I got was nothing close to what I asked for. It has been over a month and I still cannot style my hair to look decent. I have always been able to work with my hair after a cut but this is absolutely the worst. I had a Awesome appointment with Amy Colvin a Curl Specialist. I had came for a Curly Cut and I would have to say she is a " Curl Whisper " . I watched as she gave each curl love, as she cut and sculpted my curls. I was also educated on my curls and what products to use. I left enjoying my curls. I am so very disappointed as a new client. Jamie is a great gal and this has NOTHING to do with her. I do not mind paying good money for skilled work, however, I came in for a root touch up only with bang trim and MAYBE an 1/8 of inch trim to my ends. (Less than 5 minutes) How in Gods name this equals over $100 is beyond me. Be very very careful people, they literally charge $33 additional money for this trim and $10 additional for more color for root touch up!!!!! On top of this my heel was literally cracked and causing me pain while sitting there. I left my lotion at work accidentally and asked if they had lotion or a sample lotion I could use to relieve the discomfort. The male Owner who was just as kind as he could be, asked 3 times where is some lotion for this lovely person. His wife/owner then schools me on why I should buy their products, she has been doing this for years, etc etc All I wanted was a kindness of a squirt of lotion. Needless to say I will not be back. I have traveled the world and this is absolutely the most I have ever spent for a root touch up and trim. I am a customer, not a mark up monkey. I came in for a dark brown root touch up and the stylist (Kristy) died my roots purple. Literally...that's all she did. That is what I paid for. Never again! I came in last December (2017) as a new client to Kristy. At that time, I needed a root touch up - my hair is medium brown and I have it colored dark brown. Pretty easy right? Not at Hair Chiasso apparently. I asked her to touch up my roots, and then showed her a photo of Mila Kunis' hair and said I was also interested in some very subtle caramel highlights. At that point, she informed me there would not be enough time as that would require bleaching. We talked a bit about colors I had in the past, one of which was a purple/eggplant color, and she immediately latched onto that idea and said she would do that - DESPITE the fact that that is NOT what I asked for. I almost stopped her, as it sounded like she planned to simply die my roots purple. But I second guessed myself - because how could that be possible - that a stylist at an upscale salon could even consider that as an option?! Well...I should have given myself more credit and double checked.So, a word of warning: Never trust, never assume. Kristy did not match my roots to the dark brown that was in my hair. All she did was die them purple. At first it was hard to tell that's all she did. The lighting in Hair Chiasso, especially at night when my appointment was, is so dim you can't really see anything. Eventually, as time passed, it was evident as you can see by the photos. I considered calling to complain and ask for my money back, but I had a previous bad cut at Definitions of Design (also in Maumee - think I'll just steer clear of that area for haircare) and when I had called to speak to that owner, she refused to talk to me and said I "had to work it out with the stylist" *CueEyeroll* So I figured this place would be the same. And I think I was right. I called to cancel an appointment and let the receptionist know about my experience at which time she informed me that the owners would MOST CERTAINLY call me... It had been about a year since I'd had my nails done here by Britney so I stopped in again before going on vacation for a pedicure and shellac manicure. Britney is the nicest girl and does an excellent pedicure but I have to say I am very disappointed with my shellac manicure. There is a gap between the polish and my cuticle. It looks like a weeks worth of growth on the first day. Also, Korrin, who is my hair stylist, recently raised her prices so I just don't see myself returning any time soon. read more

My stylist was amazing! The Receptionist on the other hand was absolutely horrid! I came in on Tuesday morning for my usual Hair cut and this receptionist was nothing but bitter. The entire time she had a bad attitude and just seemed as if she'd rather not be there. For reference she was tall, skinny and darker complexion. In my personal opinion a receptionist is supposed to be the face of the company and that was not a good look for the company at all! read more

I am so frustrated with them dealing with situations. I scheduled an appointment with one of the colorists but they called me to cancel my appointment only 3 days prior to my appointment day. I understood the situation. Then they scheduled me with another colorist for the same day my appointment was but at a different time. I appreciated it. On the day of my appointment, and only ONE hour and a half before my appointment time, the owner called to inform me about an emergency that the employee had and he said it is something "I had to understand," which is a very unprofessional way of talking. I told him that I would be traveling out of town tomorrow and I really needed them to get me in with anyone from their staff as it is an emergency for me as well. He said the only thing he could do is he would call me if there is a cancellation. I will never recommend them. They will never rescue you if you have an emergency. They will never find a solution for you to resolve the inconvenience they caused. I called my other hair salon and they heard my situation then immediately scheduled me for my hair color. they told me they really have no opening and one of the staff called sick but they would see what they can do for me, wow what an amazing experience If you really want EXCELLENT service and QUALITY go to Shamas salon. The only reason I switched my hair salon to this one is because my hair colorist moved to another state. They have many professional people working in Shamas, they have great customer service and the owner is always attentive, caring and friendly. I will never ever recommend hair Chiasso. read more

Then one day I was abruptly and rudely informed that I was no longer allowed to schedule appointments due to too many cancellations. I asked to discuss this with the manager, since the few cancellations I had were always in advance and with good reason, but was told he was too busy to talk to me.
