Today I got the #2 because I wanted something a little extra and I actually got less. While I got 2 light leg massages they didn't touch my feet. Like not anything past my ankles. This has never happened before and I was honestly in too much shock to say anything. I kinda thought the foot massage was half of the point of the service. As someone who works on their feet all day it's what I want more than the polish. I've never had the person who did them today and unfortunately I don't think I'll be back. Total loss of $40.

3.5 so rounding up to 4 (for the ONLY small town nail salon available)…read more This is literally the only actual nail salon I was able to find while on vacation here in this specific part of TN so I was very happy to finally get my pedicure. They are currently only taking appointments, so I'd call before heading in. Even though I had an appointment, I had to wait about 15 minutes until I was seated at a chair to soak for my pedicure. The gal working there was working on someone else as I walked in. She later shared with me that her two other workers didn't show up and she was all alone with appointments all day. Hopefully, this doesn't happen often as I can see how it would be overwhelming for one person to provide service. The actual pedicure was very relaxing. She took her time cleaning my nails and painting my toes. I felt she did a good job. I just wish she would have applied another coat of the gel so the color was more vibrant. It was about a 45 minute pedicure that ended with a hot towel. Also, don't expect suburb, friendly service here. The workers are to the point and can quite brash. While I was there, the gal giving me my pedicure was talking very loudly on the phone with someone the entire time. So, there was very little interaction with her. I didn't mind that too much as she did get the job done and I was not in the mood for small talk. Others might see it as rude or unprofessional. I'm not sure how they do on nails and manicures. As I was leaving another lady showed up for a fill and the worker there told her she did not do any type of art and only did gel polish on acrylics. I'm not really sure why, but my guess is that it's more expensive and faster for her to complete a set.

The gentleman I got did not speak a word to me, didn't ask me what kind of service I even wanted. Started shaping my nails without asking what shape. One nail he hit with the dryer. Put some warm towels on them while he polished toe nails. By far, the worst experience I have ever had. 90 bucks thrown down the drain.

I am glad she had walked out b/c I am sure I might have looked intoxicated. Brittney was calm, cool and collected with such a soft voice and touch. She was friendly and kind. My skin looks amazing today. I had not had a facial in quite a few years. I also liked that she didn't try to upsell me or pressure me into buying products. She does have them available but I was not given the normal sales speeches a lot of places give you, which to me is a plus. I have already told my friends about her place who live in other cities in middle TN and they want to come do a spa day with me at Advanced Skin. Brittney, I loved my facial and getting to know you. My face/skin feels great. I will def be back for more treatments from you! Thank you so much! P.S. she also gave me the cutest little cup with Valentine Candy in it and spa bucks for future services.
