Needless to say, these are always hit and miss. Let me tell you, this place is a hit. One of the best massages I have had, and I get them regularly. The lady was strong, did a fabulous deep tissue, her strokes were long and fluid. There is a bar bolted to the ceiling where she could hold on as she walked on my back, allowing her to control the amount of pressure. It was simply fabulous. The place is clean, smells fresh, I was seen right away on my lunch hour at straight up noon (most places are usually packed at lunch and run out of therapists, I saw at least five other people in there, and there were at least two masseuse's waiting). She did a hot stone massage near the end of the hour, and while those sat on my back, she gave me a fabulous head massage. Simply fabulous!

I also found a back up person in the event he was not available. On two separate occasions, I brought friends with me and one loved it and another thought it was okay. If you're going to give this place a chance, you need to go a few times to try people out. Anyways, the ladies at the front desk were nice and billed on time. When I cancelled my membership, I had to print a form, fill it out, and scan it back to them. The process wasn't something that could be done over the phone. Once I did that, I wasn't billed on August 17, 2024 and I was glad it was easy to stop my membership. The reason I stopped was because I have an ongoing subscription elsewhere that I need to start using and I don't need both. Once the other ends, I will definitely be back. The minor issues I didn't like here was the start and end time - some therapist don't do the full 45 mins when you pay for 60 mins. They take too much time off for the dressing part and consultation. Then management doesn't restock their water bottles all the time so you don't get your water at the end. Parking has never been an issue but it's a small lot and my friend had to park on the street when it was full. These aren't deal breakers but not 5 stars worthy.

The overall improvement on my mind and body is worth every penny. Located on Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Melodi's practice is inside a chiropractor's office on the 4th floor of a business building.
