She's had feces running out and all over her and sat for hours on 4 different days in filth!!!! One of the techs put a urine bag on her and that caused the bag to fall off!it was the wrong kind of bag!!! I came walking in and they didn't know who I was....but the techs and nurses were arguing about who was not going to change and clean her...this is the worst medical experience ever !!! WOW, what a blessing and great choice. They are true professionals and know what's needed to turn around. Very compassionate and positive. When I walked in for the 1st time it was with a walker and steps were tiring to difficult. The Physical Therapists worked with me and pointed out what I needed. Great homework within my comfort zone. A few months later I walked out on my own with strength and stability. I can even walk fast with no worry. Special shoutout to Mike, Rachel, Ericka, Ellie as my physical therapists, they're the best. My stroke effected my right side meaning I couldn't my a fist, pickup anything or use my right arm. The Occupational Therapists took charge and loosened up my arm and hand. They showed continued compassion and encouragement. At the end of the my therapy I could shower, shave, wash my hair, prepare meals, drive, and other everyday tasks. What a caring team! So how is it fair to take things away from residents but treat the people making 6 figures like gold? Without these residents they wouldn't have their six figures but hey let's keep taking things away. Employees use their 15 tickets and then have to use their low pay to buy more tickets. The kitchen staff gives residents portions smaller than what you would give your toddler and then tells them they can't have more. I worked there as a caregiver and when I tell you NEVER bring your loved ones here. The food is terrible like REAL BAD, the price is way too high for all the shit they have taken away from residents and how they treat them. Also all of the reviews for this company have been begged to get from current employees and their family. They actually had the activities department go around the dining room giving candy to people who left a review. ‍ Anyway they can screw your loved one or their employees best believe they will. This is strictly related to the Business Office and the Operator of the facility, New Horizons a…read moresubsidiary of Eastlake Capital which is located in Dallas, Texas with Andrew White as the President of Eastlake Capital. On February 4, 2018 our family member/resident of Maybelle Carter passed away. The same day we vacated the contracted space and gave formal notice to the facility so that as per our contract we would receive a prorated refund of the prepaid rent. According to the contract we were to receive the refund within two weeks after vacating the space. After three weeks had passed without any communication related to the refund I made an in-person visit to the facility and discovered the paperwork had not been submitted to New Horizons/Eastlake Capital for our refund. The paperwork had been completed that day and was being forwarded to their corporate office. One month after the paperwork was initially submitted the refund still had not arrived, so I called and then paid a visit on-site again. After a lengthy conversation with the on-site management team at Maybelle Carter I was informed that I wasn't the only one not being paid. No refunds were being paid and neither were the facility's vendors, however the employees of Maybelle were still being paid their wages. At this point we decided to attempt contact with Maybelle's corporate office (Eastlake Capital) and discovered that their phone system will not allow phone calls made outside of their facility's network to be completed. Based on this, an official demand for payment letter was sent to all responsible parties including the REIT (real estate investment trust) owner of the property, National Health Investors Inc of Murfreesboro and demand for payment has currently gone unanswered. It has now been 63 days with no refund or communication from Maybelle Carter, New Horizons, Eastlake Capital or National Health Investors Inc. At this point, because of this current financial situation, I'm more concerned with the well being of the residents because it does make me wonder what they're doing without. All that said, I would encourage anyone considering Maybelle as a future home for a loved one... or even a current resident who may run across this comment (unless it gets removed) to question heavily related to the current financial state of the operator.

She called apolozing to me because my pre-approval for my prescription went to the wrong insurance I have Medicare and Medicaid. Please pray for my doctor and all those who have covid. I had covid about 6 weeks ago and my this doctor's office called me in all my meds and extra so I could get better. This is the best doctor I've ever had and I've had a few Sub Doctors unfortunately.
