The recent care experience was different. OT and PT continue to be good. Somehow nursing has changed which was a disappointment ; not sure if there is some burnout for some of the staff. It was noted by many visitors and affected my family members care. Leadership was nice to work with but I'm not sure they are aware of some staff who are quite negative.

East campus has a great caring and loving staff! Could be better if they were fully staffed!…read moreAs someone who smokes it's impossible to have a good morning when you wake up have cigarette and coffee but your expected to stand in a med line deal with ppl for an hour till you get one cup of half coffee half decaf and breakfast then go smoke. West campus is all about the money! Meds aren't given properly if you have antibiotic or anxiety meds that are to be given 3 times a day your out of luck you only get it twice a day witch is what the medical assistant told me. No actual nurse just a M.A. Not to forget the food stamp fraud and how they open your mail to get your food stamp card. Posted in house's that each person gets card and goes to store to get there food but you never see card nor go to get food so if you have a food allergy they still put that food in there unless your house mate or peer remind them no guarantee it gets replaced with something else. The house of 8 gets same amount of food as house of 4. My card mysteriously couldn't be found before leaving funny how it was day before grocery day been gone 5 days and still no call on card so no food! Not to mention how administration was supposed to sit me down with the staff member that threatened my life not only did it not happen but chick still works 3rd shift going into house's while everybody's asleep talk about a safe place haha. Night meds are passed by any staff on clock who has no medical training witch is fine if you aren't on quarantine the staff member gets your pills out of box themselves and deliver to each house. For 3-day of quarantine my medication was wrong during the morning and in the evening because staff was getting my medicine without my permission

I tried to research the clinic but there was very little information on the website. I have been…read moreto many clinics so I decided to go despite my lack of information since it had such good reviews. I arrived at 5:40pm for the 6p-9p clinic hours on Tuesday. They are only open 2 days a week and I could not wait until 12p Saturday. The parking lot was full, no parking spaces except one handicap space. The other handicap space was taken by a moped and the space between the handicap spaces where wheelchairs are unloaded was blocked by a car parked there. My sister pulled out of the parking spot the car out so I could unload my walker because the car blocked me getting my walker out. Unfortunately the car blocked the wheelchair ramp as well so I had to pick up my walker and put it on the sidewalk. Which speaks more to the clientele of the clinic than the clinic itself. I walked to the door that was marked clinic entrance but was told by a volunteer that the other door was the way into the clinic. And she took the time to walk me down there instead of just pointing. I really appreciated that. The handicap spaces were down from the right door so I walked down to the right door. I entered the clinic to find it completely packed, no seats available. I signed in and sat down on my walker. The waiting area was clean and quiet. There was a water cooler and a bookshelf for children's books. It was a very nice waiting area. After 20 minutes I was called to the desk and asked why I was visiting. I was then informed I needed an appointment. And that they could not make me an appointment because they were not accepting new patients. I was disappointed. Another volunteer came out and said that if I left my phone number that she would call with clinics that were income based. I thought that was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. I give 4.5 stars because the business webpage should have been more informative and it would have been more helpful if the desk staff already had alternate clinics on hand. I am sorry if it feels I am nitpicking. I do really appreciate that they offered to do that at all. I was very impressed with the staff. I give myself only 1 star because I should have called since the website was less than detailed. I have been to some many clinics over the years it never occurred to me I would need an appointment or that they would not take clients. I just assumed on past experience what it would be like. I learned my lesson. I will call next time. If they ever take new patients again I would definitely go to this clinic.
