The staff were friendly but inexperienced. I dropped off my dog to get a regular hair cut and wash. They told me it would be better to purchase the VIP package so I caved and decided to splurge a little on my dog. By the time I got back home with her I looked at their job and noticed no hair cut and looks the exact same way as I dropped her off just with bows and some scented spray on her. Disappointed in purchasing the upgrade and not feeling comfortable with the staff having her in their care again I asked if they could reroute us to the greater Mack location instead and to have the cut free of charge due to their poor efforts. The phone lines are not helpful and includes not only a newbie who doesn't help but also has an attitude. The manager Jake isn't very managerial driven for his position and should be reconsidered running this location moving forward. If you want to waste money on a bad job please come to this location. If not take your business to the other locations or chain.

I then returned again within another 30 minutes because the smaller one also didn't fit. Despite both items being returned right away, I was only refunded $2.12 instead of the full $29.00 something I paid. I went back to the store and spoke with the manager, who told me to call headquarters. Headquarters was no help either. The store employee even remembered the entire transaction, yet no one was willing or able to correct the refund. It's frustrating that neither the store nor corporate support would resolve such a small issue. Customer service should matter more than losing a customer over $29. I'll be taking my business elsewhere where returns and customer concerns are handled properly.

I visited The Family Puppy today while in town for work…read more I was excited to see this place after entering the mall as i LOVE dogs. When i walked in I noticed there were designated places to interact with the dogs and puppies and there were a significant number of dogs in cages. There were at least 4 employees working, answering questions and taking out and returning puppies to their cages. There were maybe 5 families and or groups of people inside the store. I connected with a specific dog and wanted to ask questions about it. I waited at his cage for about 5 or six minutes. During the time I was standing directly in front of the cage, I made eye contact with 2 employees, and waited for someone to acknowledge me. Not once was I greeted or asked if I needed help. Meanwhile, I watched as every other family and individual who walked through the door was greeted IMMEDIATELY and offered assistance. I am a self-assured woman and I know my value, so their lack of greeting doesn't change how I feel about myself. However, I am sharing this so others are aware of the environment here. It is a shame that in a store full of families and pets, the "warm welcome" seems to be reserved for a specific demographic. The reality of my experience: Every single person was seen, except for me.
