After a few abysmal experiences at other places, I found Doggie Style a couple of years ago and will never take him anywhere else. They have online booking! Very convenient. Also you choose a groomer. My first time I wasn't really sure who to choose. I didn't really care as long they're a good genuine person that won't hurt my fur baby. I chose the first name. Then you tell them at the appointment what you want done. This place is small but they manage. It is caged but the cages, at least in the front, that "showcase" doesn't seem that bad. I thought my dog would do terrible but he was just patiently waiting there and didn't get riled up even seeing me. Staff is super friendly. I had Erin do my dog's grooming and she was very welcoming and made me comfortable right away. They check for vaccines. Mainly rabies. You fill out a sheet and it asks about health concerns and I mentioned the trachea. She said they won't have him leashed around the neck. Making sure it's a comfortable experience for you and your dog for sure! Also cute how they gave my Lil man a tie. Super cute! They also have a rewards point system. Some groomers even take up to 3 hours to get the job done on just one pup. Dani and her daughter are amazing. Miracle workers to be exact. We used to live across the street and got our dogs groomed regularly. My mom and her dog live 7 hours away and make the trip down here so Kaishing can be groomed to perfection by Dani. Mango gets trimmed at home by me and gets a beautiful short cut for the summer by Dani. We don't live as close anymore so we don't get to see them as much as we'd like but they're sincerely the best groomers in the state. I'm able to say this due to the fact that Mango has been to groomers all the way from Muskegon, Grand Rapids, Lansing, all over metro Detroit, the upper peninsula, South Carolina, New York, and even California. Dani is by far the best! I will never stop saying this and I will NEVER stop recommending them to everyone I know and meet in the future.
