I love that they take pictures daily and I was able to find one of him. I also love that they let the dogs run around ALL DAY. Most places keep the dogs in cages all day unless you pay a premium to have your dog out and about. I also appreciate the option to have him bathed before pickup. On his second visit he ended up with pink eye while he was there. Beyond grateful with how they rose to the occasion. I was immediately notified that his eye didn't look right. They asked if I would like their vet to take a look at him. Same day the vet looked at him, prescribed meds and I was able to seamlessly pay for the service. Upon my arrival back the next day to pick him up they shared with me how to give him his medicine and provided the vets information for follow up. The vet was responsive to my call and extremely helpful. The only not so fun parts is they are old school in booking stays so you can't book stays online and the check in process takes a little bit of time. So give yourself at least 10 minutes to check your dog in if you are boarding him otherwise drop off is quick if the dog is coming for day care only.

On Thursday morning we received a call that he was sick. we picked him up and within 10 hours he died with a diagnosis of infectious pneumonia that exacerbated and he went septic. we requested at least reimbursement for the boarding and some assistance with the exorbitant costs to save his life. Since their insurance denied claim we received no reimbursement not even a sympathy card. No words can express our sadness over the last of our sweet puppy.

Their communication was terrible. The worst part, after leaving our dog for training and the high costs, was that we ended up with $600 vet bill. Our dog had a skin infection, a parasite, blood in his intestines and an ear infection. We also provided a whole bag of dog food for the two weeks and returned to an empty bag (it takes our dog over a month to get through a full bag). We tried to ask Katie and her husband, Mike, for help with the vet bill but they refused. They also charged us for rainy days when no training was possible. Do yourself a favor and DON'T take your beloved dog to K-9.
